Managing multiple engagements and schedules in PX can be tricky. For improved oversight and management of multiple engagements, it would be very helpful to display or enable the functionality to display the Start Date and End Date for each engagement captured in the PX Engagements page. Currently, the PX Engagements table only displays the following information, with no ability to alter what is displayed here. Name Type Channel Priority Description Status Product Environment Labels Urls Ignore Throttling Created Date Last Updated Lifetime Views
As @matt enbar answered in my question here: You can find the color of URLs or Hyperlinks under the COLORS menu as an adminAlternatively you can also use custom CSS to change the color of hyperlinks a { color: hotpink;} I would not advise to use this without knowing hot to properly target areas as it will affect multiple areas of the platform Given how complicated the CSS solution is, I suggest breaking this out into its own theme color element. Why? This does not work well for companies whose Branded color, like ours, is very close to default text. Black/dark blue/grey, etc. It currently works great for Insided, with its royal blue brand color. But what if post-acquisition or re-brand the primary brand color switched to something darker? (Note: I see that won’t happen, as Gainsight’s brand color is a lighter blue, but the point stands)Another use case might be those with a red branded color that might not wish for all URLS to be red, etc. A third is anyone who might want to lean into blue as the generally universal color for URLS and links. You might want to lean that direction even if that blue isn’t specifically within your brand palette.
Hi Team, Posting this request on customer’s behalf. With HA enablement Mass edit reports are no longer supported to be added as related lists in 360 pages which makes it difficult to achieve certain use cases like below. Use case:The mass edit scorecard reports on the C360 give us a good visual of all the "child" accounts underneath the Parent using Account Hierarchy.
Gainsight NXT is the next evolution of the Gainsight platform. For companies to maximize customer growth, they know they need a platform that: Offers them complete control in order to map to both the speed and complexity of their business, Can easily integrate with other systems to better understand customers and drive personalized engagement at scale Provide every employee across their organization the context needed to make customers successful …all delivered through a beautiful and snappy user experience. To do that, we are investing in new platform technology that will keep the advantages of Gainsight’s architecture you’re familiar with, while delivering on these three benefits. New Gainsight customers will begin implementing on NXT and can reference these release notes and support documentation. We will be helping existing customers upgrade to NXT when the timing is right for them, so stay tuned for more details. If you have questions or product feedback on Gainsight NXT, you can also post to our Community in the NXT topic.
It was a huge bummer to learn that all federated search results from external sources get grouped into one single bucket (especially when this feature is priced by the number of sources you’d like to integrate). It would be really helpful to differentiate those results by source. I have 2-3 different external sources that I would love to integrate, but I can’t do so until the user experience allows us to label each source appropriately. Thanks for your consideration! Really hoping to see this one on the roadmap 🤞🏻
Posting on behalf of customer. Currently in survey 2.0 a flattened object won't be created until there is a survey response submitted. In anticipation of building a rule off the survey responses it would be helpful to have the flattened object created as soon as the survey was made active.
There are a lot of nuances with what to expect when using this object to report on step-wise conversion of JO programs. The program has to be set up certain ways and some key understandings are required to use the object effectively. None of this is documented anywhere. We had to learn about all of this the hard way when our reporting looked significantly off from what we expected, and learned one key thing:If I put in a condition of A AND B AND C AND...all the way to I, each of A through I must be TRUE in order to continue in the program, otherwise they will drop - which is fine, that is what I want. This also means that once any of A through E are FALSE, based on the issue identified, this object does not even attempt evaluating the rest of the expression values and so we do not even have the true value of F through I captured in reporting; they all show as FALSE. This inflates our positive conversion numbers for conditions F through I like crazy, as we essentially cannot isolate to individual conditions for conversion reporting. I wish we had known this before we worked on and presented a bunch of reporting around this to our leadership team.
Couldn’t find this posted anywhere (kinda surprised if it’s not) so adding this entry to request that Timeline Activities allow the ability to pull in Company Person records to External Attendees. We’re using the Person model, trying to obscure the interconnection between Contact and Person as much as possible since it’s a confusing topic for non-admins, but this is actually causing confusion for our end users.
Hi all, One of the AMs asked if it’s possible in Gainsight to add a “Star” or “Flag” to Important timeline activities (similar to Gmail features) so that those entries/activities can be referenced later while scrolling through timeline. Thanks,Jasmine
Hi, In cases where you have multiple accounts linked together through an account hierarchy, we often have the case where we would like to record a timeline activity and have it recorded on each account within the hierarchy. That way if someone records something important that relates to all accounts within the hierarchy, it won’t be missed. At the moment our team have to manually go to each account in the hierarchy and repeat the timeline entry - if you have 10-15 accounts in a hierarchy, that’s a pretty long process. If there could just be a tickbox when you are creating an activity that said ‘post to all accounts in hierarchy’ it would be extremely helpful. Any chance this is on your roadmap or could be added to be sorted in the next while? Thanks
Hello Gainsight Community, I’m struggling a bit with the size limitation when using email assist. We’ve developed a CTA for New Client Setups and part of the playbook is sending the fully executed contract to our services team to arrange the customer setup and kickoff call. For this task I created an email template that auto populates 80% of the information the CSM sends to services (big win) however, the size limitation in email assist is making thing difficult. More than ½ our contracts are larger than 2M making the email template unusable. There are other instances where we may need to scrap the email assist due to this size limitation. Before doing so I wanted to check with the community on any workarounds or ideas...thanks!
Hey Folks, We have implemented the creation of Zendesk tickets via PX via: Admin > Engagement > Feedback > Created Category with Zendesk Request enabled. This successfully allows end users to create tickets to the Support team; however, I feel that this could be greatly improved with literally the changing of words. When a ticket is submitted, the wording ‘Thank you for your feedback’ is shown to the end user; I get that the feature was initially introduced to provide feedback, however it is now also an integrated route for creating Zendesk tickets, and in this scenario it’s not a great UX to see ‘feedback’ when actually you’re wanting help. An improvement would be to allow for the wording to be changeable by the PX admin, or changed to something generic that would make sense for scenarios of both providing feedback or a support ticket. If there’s a known solution either to change this wording, or another solution available to allow ZD tickets to be created using KC bot/engagement without requiring additional scripts/JS functions to be added to the application, I’d love to hear them folks! Does anyone else have a sweet UX of ZD ticketing in PX, and how did you implement it?
The new Data Management UI for dependencies is an improvement, but another admin quality of life addition would be to include, context dependent for each type of asset, if it is active or not. For example:For rules, you could simply indicate if the rule is active/inactive. For reports, it would be useful to know if that report is used in a dashboard, and which dashboard(s) it is on. This would enable admins to more easily at a glance find how to prioritize what they’re looking at and assess true dependency impacts. I’m sure this won’t be particularly easy given that each asset would have it’s own context around what ‘active/in use’ would mean, but it would be incredibly helpful.
Currently you can only create a rule to close a CTA, but we have a use case that we are looking to use that looks at a field and closes a Task depending on the population of said field.
Hi.In the Rule Execution History we have a option to download the Rule Results. But that downloaded file not cantaing the actions to see which records are passed in which action.Screenshot:Downloaded File:So it is very helpful if we get seperate sheets for each action along with the Records which are passed. This helps a lot in the validation point of view. Thanks.
I mentioned this coming on a year ago now (on this thread), but coming back to my ask to re-size the area in Gainsight Home where you add widgets and reports from. This impacts admins AND end-users (since they can customize Home).WTF am I talking about you ask? This (old screen shot): There’s no ability to resize this, and you cannot see the full name of some items (such as reports) when you mouse-over which is a double punish. At minimum, full [thing] name should be available on mouseover, but ideally you’d be able to resize this area as well so you don’t have to mouseover every item to find the right one.
When loading data to Gainsight CS, European characters (letters with accents and specific Scandinavian letters for example) typically lead to issues. As many of our users have these characters in their names, this leads to less pleasant situations when addressing them with their first name in emails from the Journey Orchestrator for example.
I recently had a scheduled engagement so users could register for a live webinar. I only wanted the engagement to appear for a couple weeks, then stop. I’ve noticed with other scheduled engagements the Status will change to “Completed” after the date range used. With this recent engagement, I also had it displayed in the bot, so users could find it there as well. The scheduled was set to expire at 9:00am today, then I removed it from the bot. The Status is still showing as “Active.” My suggestion is that we have an option to change an engagement status to Completed. That would make it easier for filtering and reporting. I know that I can change the status to “Paused” but that is not an accurate designation. Plus, then in the “Paused” category when filtering, some of them are paused (for editing, etc.) and some of them are Completed.
Came across another feature that doesn't support Salesforce Related Contacts - the Log to Salesforce function in Journey Orchestrator. Without going into details, our query mapped the SFDC Account ID to the ID from the Account Contact Relationship object (since every contact - including direct contacts - have an associated Account Contact Relationship::ID) but it still logs to the activity to the Direct Account to which the contact is associated We opened a support ticket, and support responded "After diving in further we found that the current behaviour is that SFDC activities get created based on the CONTACT ID and the ACCOUNT ID which is assigned to the Contact from the Contact object....After discussing with the internal teams a big more (prod and eng) its confirmed to be an enhancement request." This request is to make JO log to the appropriate Account ID based on the mapping. This of course is in addition to the already requested enhancements to make Related Contacts work with Email Assist and Timeline
This is a small request that would make a big impact on user experience. In the Email Step of a JO program, you map your placeholder tokens. When you map tokens in a program, you first have to hover your mouse over the token to make the mapping icon appear, and then you have to move your mouse just slightly to the right to click on the mapping icon. If you move the mouse too far, the mapping icon disappears. If you just click on the placeholder, nothing happens because you have to click on the mapping icon.Imagine having a large email journey, with several email steps, and each email step has multiple versions. That could be HUNDREDS of tokens that need to be mapped. Ideally, I should be able to just click on the placeholder token and have it bring up my fields. The extra time it takes to hover, move, click, adds up!
Please display the list view in an alphabetized (by last name) manner on the contact/person/co person list. This will make it much easier to find client contacts.
Going a step further from @daniel.boon’s badge for submitting an idea, an automatic badge for users whose Idea got selected and actually rolled out; and the PM moderator updates the Idea state as ‘Implemented’So this is on trigger Idea status changed to ‘Implemented’Right now I can only think of a manual badge to achieve this as we do not have the options to config an Auto badge per Idea status.
