Perhaps it might be nice to have a toggle to switch to a code view for the editor. Posts that feature a bunch of quotes and images become quite cumbersome, if you've tried it. I hope someone else agrees.
Hi everyone, I've been noticing that there are a high number of page views for topics that have little or no information and are quite old as well. I don't know if this is true, but it seems that search crawlers do not or cannot take into account the age of threads when they index. I have seen that there is a way to prioritise pages for indexing. Might there be a way to automate a priority system based on the age of a thread or replies, reducing the priority of pages over time? That might help alleviate customers being sent to outdated threads. It would be nice to also have that functionality tied to a thread tag that can be manually applied to force a reduction in a threads priority. Hopefully I'm not rehashing something that has already been tried/implemented. 😥 Edit: I should note that this was intended for external search, e.g. Google.
Hi all, One of the responsibilities of the moderators on the Sonos Communities is adding public tags to topics as part of our SEO strategy. It would be great if it would be possible to add the "added public tags" event to the Moderator activity export. :) Cheers, Ditte
If a certain category was chosen. For example our Energy monitor. It would be nice if people get a drop down menu to fill in the type of product they have. And displaying this info publicly so that other users and moderators can help the user beter, easier and faster.
Hi all, We're thinking about using a couple of our super users to raise awareness for specific topics which need a quick response. And we'd like to have a tool so that our community can help us by doing this. Most topics are left open for at least 24 hours to be answered by our community, but questions or remarks about malfunctions (in our case installation issues with internet or a sudden hick up) might need a quicker response. It would be great to have a tool developed for this. That might be just as simple as a single checkbox in the topic which needs to be checked by one of our super users. The topic will then be highlighted in our admin panel for example. It's quite similair to the 'Report tool', but we don't want this feature to be available for everyone. This will save our moderators a lot of time and helps building a community as well.
When a user’s username is changed in Salesforce, it produces a duplicate record in Gainsight’s User table because the User Connector job doesn’t let you select the SFDC User ID as a Key field - the only immutable field on the SFDC User record. As a result, this is causing duplicate records to be displayed, exported when using SFDC User ID as a lookup value on dashboards, queries, etc.Even though, yes, a SFDC Username must be unique - it can be changed on the same SFDC record. The SFDC User ID cannot. It should be the Key value.
This is related to comment exchanges that were posted on other community posts (and here) but I couldn’t find a specific post dedicated to it, so figured I would enter here. Please enable the ability to schedule the delivery of reports to internal email addresses directly from Report Builder. Similar to how you can do this in Salesforce. I know Journey Orchestrator has the ability to email reports to internal Users, but it’s a very effort-heavy process when you just need the ability to recurrently email a report to executive leaders. WIth Journey Orchestrator, you have to (at a minimum) build the report in Report Builder go to JO and create an Email Template to attach the report create a Program and Select your model create your source data set make sure you map any fields appropriately on steps 2-5 on the Participants Config (and save each one separately) go attach your template to the program model and map any tokens asappropriate End the outreach Publish the outreach Schedule the outreach This of course adds to the amount of clutter that will show in the Templates, Programs and Program Calendar. In Salesforce, you have to create the report Schedule Future Runs Add a user/email. Done and done. There are so many extra steps required to this through a Journey Program. It’s overkill. Please consider the user experience and the overhead required to develop and maintain for this use case. I was previously told by Product Management that they were going to take this up, but I haven’t seen/heard any updates, so I figured since there wasn’t a specific post (that I could find) I would add it. @joseph_siudzinski
Improve the readability and clarity of the Report name in Dashboards, especially for Reports taking up smaller spaces, such as Widgets. Here’s an example of the Report Name being cut off when 3 widgets are added to a Dashboard. Yes….if you mouse over the Report Name, the full Report Name will appear as a pop-up. However, the basic use case for a Dashboard is fast scanning. Having to mouse over elements just to see Titles runs counter to the basic use case of a Dashboard.
I would like the ability to preview the data from a merge task in the Rules Engine. I know we can preview the data with export to S3, but this is too cumbersome when you have to rewrite the rule multiple times to get the data set you really want. I saw that this is a batch process that happens on the backend, but it would be nice to be able to see a preview of a few lines of data, even if I had to wait a minute or two. Right now I have to go through 10 steps to see how the data is merged or pivoted. This is already a "Question" but it is not an idea post yet, I thought this might help move it along. https://community.gainsight.com/conversations/previewing-a-merge-in-bionic-rules-5bc73e14e4b04588aaf866ac
When adding an event, for some reason only Euro and America timezones are able to be selectedAll timezones should be available to allow for customers / users outside of these zones
It would be very nice if admins could create and use S3 datasets when building Program participant sources with the Query Builder tool. Alternatively, if there was the option of create PowerLists from Bionic Rules, that would also be very helpful!
Posting on behalf of a Customer. It is found that the hotspot color doesn’t quite respond to back-ground color declarations when attempted to be modified within the CSS tab, although it should apply as the same class name is tagged to the hotspot element. Upon further investigation, hotspot seems to have its own CSS and doesn’t apply the CSS styles mentioned in the PX Guide Engagement Editor “CSS” tab for the particular step. Although we can modify the background color via the “Editor” tab, it be nice for the “CSS” tab to allow custom styles. It would help customers to get more flexibility. If a “CSS” custom CSS conflicts with “Editor” setting, we can include a caution sign saying “This element is being overriden by “CSS” tab CSS”.
The ability to share sections across layouts is really powerful but the UI at the moment does not make it clear that it is there to use. Would be better to default to encouraging sections to be global rather than local
Current state: Rule Chains are allowed to be scheduled by a Basic Schedule or an Event. The card view of your active Rule Chains indicates a “Next Scheduled Run”; however, it will not show the chain as scheduled if it is by an Event. It will say “Not Scheduled”. Which is false. And makes me think I did something wrong, when I did not.
It would be nice if Gainsight notified a CSM if they had been assigned an account Rather than having to create a call to action for this
Customer ask : If we can have the ability to mark in cc to a cross-functional team for email engagement. This will help them to increase the visibility for other team. For example: In case the product team have triggered an email engagement for all the Admin users they would like to mark in CC the associated CSM. If we can have cc option in email setting.
The AO Failed Participants object stores majority of its data as JSON data. It doesn’t have a lookup to Company, and I can’t use Data Designer either because the execution fails since the data in this object is mostly JSON. Please help us improve monitoring of failed participants and reduce burden on admins by allowing us to create reports for users to view, troubleshoot, and resolve failed participants in an efficient way.
A customer has a KC bot enabled. Now they want to embed their help as a search source (google). There are different helps for different editions of the product and user types and they use the Google docs article search option to define the source(s). They would like to be able to set different sources for different bots as today, they can only define the sources globally.
Just an idea, what if there was a ‘page edit mode’ that would make all editable fields on a C360 able to quickly check all the necessary boxes and fill in details at one time as opposed to, for example, making a boolean field active, checking the box, and clicking the checkmark to save the changes. Instead, this ‘page edit mode’ would make all fields active so that someone could make many updates at once and then effectively click the checkmark on all fields and save all changes.
