Would be great if we had text wrap capabilities on the GANTT chart
When I am in a category and ready to post a topic, the category editor by default should already have the current category listed, instead of just having it blank.
Currently as standard in the product we don’t have a way to report / filter on email templates used in a CTA. Example would be “show me all CTAs w/ email template ‘Survey Followup’ being used” Now this would also be a bit more complicated when multiple Email Assist steps are being used with different templates but currently we don’t have a good way to bring in that data to the CTA itself. This would be super helpful for customers looking to do this.
Basically what the title says. When you set conditional waits for reminder emails, escalations, etc., and you view snapshot, it would be nice to see when the next thing goes out - specifically the date, I know the relative wait time is displayed. This could also be done in the drill down when you click the participants - there could be a field showing the date of the last attempt, and the date of the next attempt.
I think it would help users choose the right category, if the subcategory was preloaded based on where they are in the community.Example - If I search, end up in the CRM category, but don’t find my answer and go to post a new question, it’d be nice if I didn’t have to dig through the categories to find the right one. It should assume I’d like to post in CRM.It’s not a huge inconvenience for the main community, but we’ve got a few restricted areas, and it’d be cool if employees/partners didn’t have to scroll through the long list of options.
Gainsight doesn't have the ability to add numeric fields to the By section of a report. We have a need to generate reports that group customer information by numeric fields in order to see the number of accounts that have the same number for a given field (e.g. X customers have an overall health score of Y). Since this capability doesn't exist in Gainsight, we do a lot of our reporting externally after creating tables of the relevant information we're looking to view. It would really help in getting end users more adopted with Gainsight, if they're able to see reports in one spot, in real time, instead of having to consume reports externally that are generated at one point in time.
Our team leverages the external user function quite a bit for Success Plans with a good amount of success. The challenge we are facing today is that clients would like to make a quick note or entry about a CTA and cannot. They can mark things completed, but cannot send the CSM any additional information about how it was completed, barriers they ran into, new issues that came up, etc. The ability to have some way for them to make a note about the CTA or create some sort of external facing Timeline would allow the team to not only track tasks in the external facing Success Plan, but allow clients to track notes alongside.
Currently the point system rules only allow allocation of points for creating a topic but you are not able to break this down to provide a different value to creating a question vs creating a conversation vs creating an idea. We would like to delineate this in our community and provide different values for each.
This says Implemented, and I know you can select either tasks or events across all activities, but to my knowledge, there’s not a way to sync to both. What I was thinking was adding to the Activity Types Configuration page, and instead of just having a checkbox to sync to Salesforce, having the option to select syncing to task or event. Our use case: We have some Timeline activity types that are SFDC events and some that are SFDC Tasks. So, ideally, we’d be able to mimic that classification with syncing.
As a CSM I need to group my CTAs in my cockpit by due date with more timeframes available so I can clearly see what needs to completed by a more specific group of due dates. Currently, grouping by due date groups all CTAs into Overdue, Today, Next Week, and Upcoming. The Upcoming "bucket" becomes too large to be meaningful, and CSMs would like to see options for 8-14 days, 15-30 days, and over 30 days. Ideally, Admins could configure what the buckets are.
I’d like the ability to have fields appear in a Timeline entry during creation based on the entry on another field. For example - I could have a checkbox called Add Sentiment? and if checked, another set of fields would appear allowing end user to set sentiment details. But if the field is not checked, then those additional fields would not appear.
Currently we track objectives through the success plan but when looking into the Timeline we cannot see objectives listed. Would like the ability to track the Success Plan Objectives and be able to post objectives form the timeline to the Success Plan.
Currently you can pin the menu bar in next to stay open, however my preference is that it stays closed unless I specifically click on a section, or at the least have a minimum hover requirement before it expands. I work almost entirely out of my right monitor but navigate between right and left often when comparing data. After just a few weeks on Nxt it’s apparent how much of a nuisance it is that the menu expands every time I cross from one monitor to the next and really wish I could pin to keep it in place, and expand only when I click it.
Hello, My current problem statment is that I am using JOs to send internal reports to Internal partners for monthly files they need. The JO works great. However we do make updates to the report (fitlers) and would like for the updates to reflect in the JO email template with out us having to reset the template. I do understand that this was designed purposefully however i think a great enhancement would be the option for live reporting updates to JO templates option. Maybe built into the JO functionality itself would be great. This will help promote the use of JO as currently If i have to continue updating the JO then I might as well send the once a month file manually. The time consumption becomes the same. and Time is money. @kate_peter @kate_green Thank you. Darshana ShahADP Client Success Operations
As admins, we need functionality via rules to edit fields on Activity timeline, CTA and Success Plans like how Relationship MDA or Customer MDA updates available. Even if it could be extended for other commonly used Standard/System MDAs would be more beneficial.Every time we wanted to re-associate an activity timeline from C360 to R360 we are requested to submit a support request to Gainsight. And most of the cases, we are heard back saying there is no operational support by Gainsight.Similarly CTA or Success Plan objects, if we wanted to update new custom fields or existing some standard fields, we have no option left other than raising support request.
Right now, the default option for CTAs is to update if the name, status, and reason are the exact same CTA rule is triggered. You can use the name as well, but that is with the assumption you have something tokenized in the name to make it always unique. I would like to control this more with the radio buttons. It would be helpful to have options for “create”, “create or update”, and “close”. There are some CTAs that we never want it to look to update. For these, I want the option to just “create”.For ones we want to update, I would like the option to “create or update”. Additionally, it is very confusing that the radio button for create allows to also update…. this should be more clear so that admins do not need to dig in documentation to understand that “create” is actually “create or update” right now.
Would be nice if you could create playbooks in a draft state, preventing them from being visible to end users until you're ready to "publish" it, but still editable/available to the rules engine and to those with Playbook create/edit/delete permissions.
Hi Team, Currently we have a product limitation of not allowing the fields with data types dropdown list, GSID, Rich text to be available under task mapping in cockpit administration. I have a customer who has requested us to implement an enhancement to consider including dropdown list fields to be available under mapping as it helps them in meeting their custom requirements for sync to Salesforce. Regards,Jagadeesh
You know that banner that appears to tell you that the open Tasks within the CTA have also been closed after you close the CTA? This is a little tedious, but it’s kind of annoying to see that banner when there were no tasks (or no open tasks) on the CTA. Users have to click “x” on each banner that gets created for each CTA, making it a little noisy and annoying to clean up Cockpit. I use some CTAs in Cockpit as an admin, which is how I came across this issue. End Proctoring-
For context, CSMs heavily use the SFDC plugin, which allows them to go directly to a SFDC account and see all the different attributes of the account (cases, opportunities, contacts) Can we have similar functionality with the Gainsight Outlook plugin to at the very least allow the CSM to go to the customers C360 / R360? The idea would be that side panel where you select the customer/relationship, that can be hyperlinked and take you directly to the C/R360. Ideal scenario would be that you can also see most recent timeline entries and possibly other attributes that we have configured in the C/R 360.
We have more and more needs for non-CTA “Alerts” to our users and the current mechanism is not scalable to have CSM’s required to click “follow” on each of their accounts.Could we find a way to mass enable “notifications” for CSM’s and auto-follow the accounts they are assigned to? tl:dr More admin control of notification settings for users and ability to mass “follow” accounts based on assignment to make notifications more relevant and useful
