This is relatively minor, but it is misleading if/when end users try to change their filters. The “Is Snoozed” filter, when set to False/No, it shows “Is Snoozed equals ANY” when you drill down into the filter. This was from the My CTAs view, but I created a test view and experienced the same.
The Create CTA UX could be improved a bit more. When you have additional fields to have populated, the user has to remember to click the little “Add More Details” link at the bottom of the box. It’s easy to forget. This should be expanded by default.Admins should have more flexibility over the layout of this form.
Recently we ran into automation issues around creating Risk CTAs off new Health Score measures that present risk. I was caught off guard that the ‘Create CTA’ action in Rules Engine updates previously created CTAs (i.e., Priority is reset to High if downgraded to Low by CSM) if included in the fetch.Love that the rule will not create duplicate CTAs if there is already a CTA created. It should be easier to prevent rules from updating existing CTAs. A checkbox option such as ‘Include in Identifiers’ on the Create CTA action for ‘Do Not Update Open/Existing CTA’ would save Admins a lot of time in building/testing Risk Framework CTA Automations. {Where open CTA with Identifier Criteria are found for the account - do not action}.Workaround in place is to count up the Number of Open CTAs for that Type, Reason and where Status Reporting Category = Open. On the Create CTA action add criteria for ‘Num Open CTA != Null’. HOWEVER this is not a good fix as we have crafted our Open Aging Cases, Service Project, and Invoicing rules to be many-to-one. (Many cases, invoices, projects can be at risk for one customer)Guess it is better to at least have 1 Risk CTA on the topic than having our rules revert CSM/AM/RM work being actioned on CTAs. Who is with me on this one?
The Export to S3 in Rules allows for the export to an S3 bucket: https://support.gainsight.com/Gainsight_NXT/03Rules_Engine/02Admin_Guides/06Export_to_S3_from_Rules_Engine However, it would be helpful to leverage an existing S3 bucket connection that is setup in Connectors 2.0 within the Custom settings rather than have to re-enter the Access Key and Security Token within the Rule as those details aren’t always made available to a Gainsight admin.
First off, I LOVE that we can clone engagements. That said, if I’ve already made a new engagement and I want to bring in a similar set of complex audience rules, it would be really nice to copy over or import certain audience rules from another engagement. Mostly this is me trying to reduce human error :)
Posting on behafl of a customer. Today the export limit of Audience Explorer and Account Explorer is 30,000 and 10,000 respectively. It is desired to increase this to 100k. Using S3 integration to filter on the csv list of Accounts/Audience, but there are certain filters that are only available in Audience Explorer or Account Explorer.
Hi,I’ve been recently thinking about ways to improve platform performance, and a recent thread reminded me about this idea which I forgot to post previously. For my own websites that I run, I make heavy use of the server level caching and optimization features to massively improve performance across the entire stack, one of which is lazy loading images and media. It helps to improve page loads by only initially loading in resources that are actually visible when the user first lands on the page, and then load in other resources when they’re about to become visible on a Just-in-Time basis. This helps to ensure I’m not dumping 50mb worth of media gallery all at once onto a user who only wants to view two or three images. It also reduces the pressure on both sides and breaks things down into much smaller chunks.I feel it’s something that inSided might benefit from, especially for media heavy threads, or for ones where there’s almost no images in the opening post, but loads of images five replies deep. These currently bog down page loads even if the user isn’t going to see everything. If it was lazy loaded, the page could be snappy and lightning fast, without losing anything else.Ideally, it would be great for responsive placeholders and transition effects to be applied as well, so that the layout of the page doesn’t suddenly jump all over the place when an image loads in and renders. It could also look really nice too, if you do it right!
When changing scorecards, you essentially lose the history from the Scorecard Timeline view. That’s expected when the scores are different than the previous scorecard. But when you are carrying over the same measure there should be a way to retain the Timeline history in the Scorecard TL view.If I had the ability to directly modify the Activity Timeline data, I could write the new Scorecard GSID into the the Activity Timeline history, but I cannot.
I'm not trying to manipulate our results, but we had a test survey sent out in production and would like to remove it so that it actually doesn't doctorate the real responses from other customers. So, is there an easy way to remove a specific survey response? If so, what objects would be affected? Any tool form Gainsight to do this or would it entail using Salesforce tools? Thanks!
Right now only options are for datediff in days, months, years (data designed and report builder). Day datediff comes back as an integer so can’t do any divide by 24 (or more) to get to hours, minutes, seconds. Some data like application outages/degradations are measured in hours and minutes not days.
Can we please have the column headings in Connectors exports reflect the actual names of the columns instead of gsd#####?? It’s frustrating to try and make the correlation. Example Export from Company Person connector failure:
Most people don't add tags to their post or they don't add very good tags to their post. It's a lot of work for a community manager to add tags manually but it seems like a simple thing the most engaged members could help out with, without needing moderator privileges. I'd love to see the ability to add tags to someone else's post added as a privilege option for custom user roles so we could grant this access to members who reach a certain status. I'd also want it to work from the community side not the control side so they don't need to have any moderator access in order to do it.
Team,Currently, we were not able to set the manual Color code for Single Picklists in the MDA Dropdown lists instead of selecting it from the color palette as shown from the attached Gif. Could you please consider this request and add it to Road map.
Currently, the failure/success email notification goes right into the Configure window of the Design. The whole purpose of the email is to identify the execution, so it should go directly to the execution history. Since the history log access lives outside of the design also, the current workflow just leads to extra unnecessary clicks. It would be as if the Rules notification sent us to Setup Rule instead of execution history. End Proctoring-
We're redoing the way we categorize activities in the timeline. We are merging a few of the existing categories and getting rid of others. It would be ideal not to have to do this manually. I was going to use Mass Edit but that only works for CTAs and Tasks. Would have been nice to be able to use that functionality to activity timeline entries too
Hey all, Its great that we can now change our topics to articles! However, we cannot change them back. For us, that is a rather annoying problem. We also use articles to move important topic to the top of the community search results because that is extra benefit of what articles do. However, when such an article is no longer hot or there is a replacement, we cant 'un-article' them. Therefore I would like to vote for it to be possible to change articles back to question/discussion topics. Maybe some of you have this issue as well or maybe you have a great solution to this problem? Cheers,
Per the discussion below, the Product Area filter on the Product Updates module shows all products, even if there are not any product updates. We have a use case for some product areas to use product updates and other not to use product updates. Therefore, we’d prefer for product areas without updates not to show in this filter (or to be able to configure the widget to show only those with updates). If you agree, please vote for this. And/or share your point of view in the replies.
Hi All,As of now we are seeing only the count of bounced emails in the Emails analytics but It will be helpul if the users/emails are shown who got bounced/rejected while sending emails.Regards,R Satheesh
MDA generated by DD are read only. The Gainsight architecture must allow the Admins/Developers to edit the existing fields add more fields to the MDA table
In data designer, working with dates is extremely limited. I cannot summarize by date before a transform, and I cannot dynamically select a date range from the past. For example, I want to summarize usage from last month, the month before that, and the month before that to calculate a growth rate over last 3 months. I can select date = “last 30 days” for last month’s usage, but how do I sum over the date range *between* 30 days ago and 60 days ago to calculate the previous month (or between 60 days ago and 90 days ago for 3 months ago’s usage)? The date filter needs an option such as “N days ago” so I can input “less than or equal to 30 days ago” and “greater than or equal to 60 days ago”.
I’m not sure why the My CTAs view is not editable by admins (or why it doesn’t include the Next Task Due Date) column but Admins should have the ability to at least VIEW this view, much less edit it.
Use case: We want to amplify the content in our community through some external partnerships. Rather than a feed of all community activity, we’d prefer to share a targeted feed of just articles and/or articles within the Knowledge Base.
Our biz case:It appears that events are not included in the existing RSS feed The time-based nature of events increase the appeal of amplifying them externally for registration, etcPossible solutions:Add events into exiting RSS feed New RSS feed for events only (best fit for our use case)
