We just recently migrated to Gainsight NXT from Gainsight classic. I have to say, the playbooks and success plan templates interface is a let down. The new look is extremely taxing on the eyes. It is much more difficult to interact with and I lose track of where I am on the screen when editing tasks. The hover highlight color is also very faint. I found it seems to change a little bit when I move between different monitors (on one screen it is grey, on the other it is off white). NXT Classic
Hi All, Hope everyone is staying safe! We are in a process of evaluating the requirement of introducing the ability to configure Google Slides in the Success Snapshot 2.0. This will be in addition to the existing ability to configure Microsoft Presentations. We would like to know If your organization is currently not using Success Snapshots - would you think this new ability to directly configure the Google Slides encourage you to start using them? If your organization is already using Success Snapshots, we would still like to hear if this implementation will help you better adopt Success Snapshots. If you would like to know more about Success Snapshot 2.0 and what use cases it covers, please refer to this document. We appreciate any feedback in this regard. Thanks!
As there is a limitation to the number of fields you can add in a Data Design, there should be visual counts at in the Design and Add Field screens showing the total number of fields added from the object. Today it is very difficult to identify where you can trim down your data to make the dataset valid. Showing that there are 30 from Accounts and 25 from Activity Timeline objects would make it much better for admins to sort out where we can trim fields to get to 50. Only way we know id when we attempt to Merge the data sets together today and get the error that states ‘Max 50 fields’ — which also gives you no indication of how many fields you are using…. DB
As I’m looking at analytics dashboards, I see no way to filter for custom roles. And since we can’t add custom roles as a primary role, they don’t show up in reports.I’d like to suggest that we be able to run reports that are filtered by custom roles so that we can more easily see audience segments that we’ve set up. (It wouldn’t hurt to be able to assign them as primary roles, too, btw.)
When setting scorecard validity, it would be a nice enhancement to be able to not only set a validity period, but also have a check box or something of the sort to determine whether or not to continue using the measure in the overall scorecard calculation if it is past the validity period. For example, let’s say that you have Sentiment weighted highly. If that value gets stale, your score would potentially be inaccurate. So, it would be nice to say if the sentiment is older than X months, no longer include it in the score calculation. Still leave the value and the indication of being past the validity date.
With the new Activity Timeline reporting capability you seem to be able to report on all fields except for the actual "Notes" field? Would like to have a report of the most recent "update" across key accounts.
Got a question from one of my CSMs today around how you could rearrange the tasks under an objective if you had updated the due dates for the tasks. It doesn’t look like that’s currently something that’s possible, but could see the utility of being able to do so.
Had a rule partially fail on two actions yesterday. Action 1 had 3921 records fail. Action 2 had 78 records fail. I expected to see two tabs containing the failed records - one tab for A1 and another for A2 - instead I only see one. I don’t recall this having been the case in the past - maybe I’ve just been extremely lucky not to have more than one action failure in a rule. Regardless, it would be really helpful for each action to have a separate tab. It’s irksome to have to scroll through 3900+ records to get to the details regarding Action 2 failed records.
Hi Team,Can we achieve the below ones:1. Edit option for default Dashboard.2. Navigating to Audience explorer whenever you click on New Users Widget on Dashboard.3. Global Filters in PX Dashboard
Gainsight currently has the feature to create a SFDC Case from a CTA. By default, Cases are created with the default Case Record Type. For organizations who use different Case Record Types to communicate with different teams, they need the ability to choose the Case Record Type when creating a Case from a CTA.
I do not know wny are we not allowing Rich Text fields in Filter conditions in Rules Engine, JO Query Builder, Data Designer features. I think this is required to achieve the below sample use-cases:Use-case 1:We are sending a NPS Survey to Customers. If we receive any comments, we would like to create CTA. If not, we would like to automate “Thank you” email using JO. Use-case 2:We are trying to push the Scorecard Comments from Scorecard to another place in salesforce. We would like to retain most recent comments. If anyone removed comments, we should not push NULL to Salesforce. In these cases, it will be helpful. alternatively we can build an extra MDA Object(As we are als onot allowing to create new fields in NPS Survey Responses Object) but it requires another extra rule to push the data from original object. This will become a complex process for these simple use-cases.
When you use a MDA table in any part of Gainsight currently the 'equals' filter in case sensitive. When we built this initially we meant to treat equals as true equals. We would like to see this not be case sensitive as this can cause potential issues when using many parts of Gainsight.
It would be great if you could have a CTA with multiple relationships added. Use case for example is a relationship between a product and a company where you could have multiple products and on the CTA be able to relate it to more than one of those products.
We would love to have a way to apply filters to limit data on lookup fields in CTAs. For instance, for a specific lookup field searching for names, we would only allow internal employees as an option and filter out all external customer names. Our SFDC Admins have been able to apply such a filter on the SFDC side, but if a CSM is completing the form in Gainsight (as they should), there’s no way to limit the options in the lookup field. If multiple of the same name appear (John Smith), the CSM doesn’t know which to select and may opt for the wrong one. Reason this came up: In Gainsight, a CSM added an owner to an "At Risk Event" linked to a Risk CTA. She searched for the internal employee's name in the Resolution Owner field, but two instances of the name appeared. She clicked on the first one, not knowing it was for a customer contact vs an internal contact. The external contact then received a notification email of this item being assigned to him. Obviously, this did not go over well. The SFDC Admin was able to add a lookup filter to the Resolution Owner field in SFDC to limit users with an email address that contains "@ourdomain.com". It would be helpful to apply something similar to any lookup fields in Gainsight.
When configuring multiple account scorecards, in the "Applies to:" section, you can select from picklist, number, string, and boolean data type fields. It would be useful (for me at least) if currency was also a support field type. There are ways I can get around this, by using some other available filters, but it would be great if I could apply a scorecard to an account or relationship based on their ARR or ASV.
Is it possible to change the buffer on the Thank You message such that it's not so close to the header on this page?
I would love the ability to load one of my CSM's profiles to test the views that I'm building out in layouts and other reports specific to the individual. Being able to use the actual data I'll ultimately display as a test would be an awesome tool and allow me to move more quickly in responding to my team's requests.
I would like the ability to quickly export all the clients on a given power list. We've come across this need several times, and each time we have to create a report with the exact same filters. Being able to export straight from the power list will save quite a bit of time.
I have a customer who needs to be able to use and edit MDA fields in the C360 Attributes section. The customer has a fairly arduous internal process for getting fields added in Salesforce and so the ability to just edit MDA fields in the C360 would make internal processes much easier to manage. Is there any plan to add this feature in the future?
Right now, I am only able to add fields to the C360 page that are from the account or customer info objects. This is really limiting and in turn requires the team to go back to SFDC for certain pertinent information. I can't rely on putting everything into an embedded report. Is there a plan to allow you to add more fields outside of these two objects?
It would be great if we could customise the icons used in the rating and Boolean surveys. I would like to be able to use smileys on a three point rating for instance. It would be great if we could at least have some common icon choices or perhaps use the emoji set or even load in our own svgs.Besides the fact that thumbs up and down can be seen as offensive in some cultures, this would allow us to be more consistent with our branding. ThanksJonathan
