Currently in PX, We have the ability to send the reports automatically (weekly/daily) through emails, But this option is limited to only few features. Here is the image, If we add the custom reports also, it is limiting to only Adoption analytics. We cannot add the survey performance or the Email performance as reports. So it would be helpful if we have the ability to add the survey performances also.
That would be great if we provide a provision to track the history object with limited fields.
Do we have any roadmap for field tracking on Gainsight objects?
In the November 19’ release notes it was mentioned Gainsight integrates with Tableau. Our company utilizes Power BI so curious to know if it’s on the road map to integrate with Power BI?
Since there is only one PX User Profile view available, the Recent Activity and Recent Engagements logs can come from different PX Products and/or Environments. Because of this, it is not easy to understand clearly which Product and Environment these event logs come from. Therefore, it would help immensely if the individual logs included information about the specific PX Product Name and Environment Name they came from. Also, it would help if there were a filtering options to pick the PX Product and/or Environment so the event logs can be investigated more precisely. And lastly, it would be ideal if the Recent Activity and Recent Engagements results were automatically filtered based on the PX Product and Environment selected on the previous screen that brought the user to the PX User Profile screen.
When working with dashboards, it would be a great addition if users would be able to clickthrough on the usage widgets for specific time periods to see the user overview for with the same filters. E.g. There is a dashboard the monitor the usage of 1 customer. In the widget displaying the number of users per week, for the last 8 weeks the user would be able to click on each week and see which users were active. Thanks in advance for taking this idea into consideration. Best regards,Tommy
I’m sending a few different Custom Events to PX through the API and/or uploading Custom Events through Data Loader… I would like to be able to see a list of all of the Events (and count of events, number of users, etc) for the Custom Events.
If a previous set of SF Connector jobs is still running when it’s time for the next scheduled run, the jobs should not start until the previous run has finished. This applies to both runs that were manually or auto-scheduled. I’ve had auto-run jobs run too long, and then the next job starts running simultaneously. And suddenly you have more than one of the same job running. Also, sometimes in order to populate data for a newly created field, you need to run SF connectors for ‘all records’ which can take quite a long time. I’ve run into situations where I’m inbetween scheduled updates for the Company sync job, for example, and I need to run a full Company sync. So I launch it, but it runs so long that the scheduled Company sync job starts running too. In this case, I am forced to manually disable the regular schedule, run the full sync job, then reschedule the jobs to run recurrently. Would be great if the jobs were smart enough not to run until a prior set has completed.
As a Gainsight Admin, I need visbility into the email blacklist so I can ensure all client communications are received. Today, we only know when client’s are on the Blacklist because the CSM reaches out when using Email Assist and they see an email will bounce message. The admin uses the Email Validator tool, but cannot see when or which emails triggered the email address to be added to the blacklist (it could be even for another company that uses Send Grid and from anytime in the past). We would like to view reports of which email addresses from our contacts are currently on the blacklist. We would also like to clean-up this list and proactively remove email addresses from the blacklist when creating a CTA that include a high number of CSMs using email assist.
Why is it that I can use the Rules Engine to update any Salesforce object [i]except the Gainsight ones? It's OK for me to use a rule to change an Opportunity, but not to load to the Gainsight survey table? All objects are created equal! Cast your vote for the freedom to load! 🙂
We launched success plans earlier this year and we plans to use it even more in the coming months. One of the feedback we've received from our clients and our CSMs, using the success plans, is giving external users (our clients) the ability to check off objectives they've completed themselves. I believe success plans are great tools but for a client to be truly successful, hands on learning and work needs to be done along side the work and training our CSMs are doing for the client. Our success plan have internal (tasks only for our CSMs to see and do) and external (tasks that our clients need to do themselves) objectives. We would love if the external users, we share the success plan with, can check off objectives as they accomplish them. This provides more visibility to the client's progress through the success plan. The client (external user) and the CSM would actively see that actions that are happening real time and don't need to wait for a call to follow up if certain tasks have been completed or not. Right now it's a "one way" success plan. Only the CSM can check off objectives and tasks... I think giving the client the ability to interact with the success plan can provide a whole different experience. One that will truly drive the success of the client and the CSM.
Is it possible to adda filter otpion to Playbooks page to see only ACtive Playbooks? We had different playbooks for different languages with email tasks. After Gainsight Assist we set these palybooks to Inactive but the view on Playbooks is really difficult to manage as there are more than 50 playbooks right now. It would be great to have a filter on Active/Inactive.
As of today, we can only enter static fields for the add/subtract date formula. Has there been any consideration to allowing a dynamic component to this formula? So we can do something like “Renewal Date + (insert number field).” I think it’d be a nice enhancement and would be another step toward keeping customers in the Rules Engine instead of Excel.
How do most companies mark churned Relationships? We've been told there's no way to automate removing a Relationship, so when one churns, what do you do? Do you manually delete all these? I'm not sure I want to delete the whole record, and I can probably pull a Status of churned from the Salesforce record, but I'd want to also hide or somehow mark the Relationship card as churned as well, so CSMs know they don't need to look at it. We hide the churned Relationships from the CSMs view in SF, but the records are still there for reporting.
I thought this would be a nice feature to add to Timeline (more so the global Timeline) but would be great in either. Similar to how CSMs are able to export a list of their CTAs to a CSV file, it would be great addition if the CSM could export the Timeline activities into a CSV file. The use case here is that in global timeline, CSMs might search for some keywords, e.g. anytime a competitor to our product is mentioned in the subject or notes. If the CSM was to filter to these activities and export to excel, with the subject, notes, contacts information all included that would be very helpful for our team.
Thinking about how to use the Relationship Timeline and the Customer Timeline. As the GA, I would love: The option to roll the Timeline activities from the Relationship to the Customer Timeline and show which Relationship it is from. The ability to determine who can see the Customer Timeline--just as you can customize C360 views. To make Timeline entries read only; create, edit, or delete their own entries; or modify all permissions at the Customer level. To go a step further, possibly add the ability to create a Timeline event at the Customer-level and--as with Relationships in Cockpit--add the Relationship it should be tied to.
Currently we are able to filter audience based on InApp and Survey engagements, it would be helpful if we could filter based on Email engagement as well. UseCase: To know how many users have got emails delivered from an email engagement more than ‘X’ number of times.
When using Gainsight Assit, I would like the option to select which particular company or relationship I want to log an email to. Use cases: I am sending an internal email about a particular company, and I want to log the email to the company’s timeline, not to my internal company’s timeline. I am sending an email to a customer who is using a different email than what is associated to their contact record. I want to select which company/relationship the email gets logged to, especially if I am not aware that I’m using a different email for that same customer contact. If I log the email to the incorrect company/relationship, I want the ability to update the record after it’s been logged.
PX KC bot option will be used by most of the customers to get the feedbacks of their Users. So allowing them to manage the feedback categories is a really good option we can provide, As the default options provided by PX might not be useful for them. Thanks, Shireesha
In PX, by default, reports show the prior 7 days. I’m usually interested in look at the prior 30 days (as our application is more of a WAU app than a DAU app), and would like the ability to set the default date range to a longer period.
We’ve opted not to enable our end users on Email from Timeline just yet because it has some potential risk associated with it. Admins need to have more granular control over For which Timeline types this feature is enabled. Which fields can be included in the email. We have some Timeline entries that contain fields that capture internal details pertaining to the interaction. For example, on our Meeting type, we have Sentiment and Engagement fields that help us capture customer sentiment and engagement related to that specific event. Because we do not have a way to “hide” those fields when you initiate the Email from Timeline for a record, the burden then falls to the end user to remember to delete those fields from the email. That is risky, especially considering it could have values that we leverage internally that could upset the customer if they were to see them: In general, this is a great feature, but as with most things it isn’t (and shouldn’t be) a one-size-fits-all solution.
Our team uses Google Calendar to manage all of their meetings and events. It would help with workflow if we could automatically: - see our time-based CTAs inside of our calendar already. - log our calendar-based events as CTAs.
I’m surprised this hasn’t already been done/requested - but often when rules fail or even in testing - we have to backdate/predate the Rule Date so that the rule runs as it would on a specific date. That date appears in the Execution Summary of the exported spreadsheet, but doesn’t appear anywhere in the rule execution history or log view in the application. Would be helpful to have that displayed in the tool
