As a marketer, I want to be able to filter the engagements someone sees based on whether they clicked a CTA in a different engagement. Use case: We want to notify our users of an upcoming webinar. In the dialog engagement we’re using, we have a CTA to register for the webinar. After we send this first notification about the webinar, we want to send a follow up. However, we don’t want to send the follow up to people who have clicked on the CTA in the initial engagement. Right now, we can only target based on whether they viewed the engagement, not whether they clicked the CTA. Thanks for you consideration! Let me know if there’s anything her that should be clarified.
I would like my CSM's to be able to log the amount of time, in minutes, it takes them to perform their various actions associated with CTA's and objectives. I can do this in activities but an activity is not as powerful as a CTA. OR the other option is to allow my CSM's to link activities to CTA's! This way we could easily run a report on the amount of man hours it took to achieve a CTA/Milestone in the success plan. CSM programs must be able to show their value to an organization as it relates to expense margins. This type of measurement would GREATLY help in this effort.
With Journey Orchestrator’s ability to create calls to action, call external API’s, and trigger PX engagements….use cases that don’t involve email are climbing quickly! It would be nice to remove the email field as a requirement in every program. Just becomes a bit of a nuisance in query builder to have to find one to use when you know you don’t need it.
One of our tabs in the customer’s C360 is called Company Overview and here we have added a custom open ended field called Website. In this field, we enter the customer’s website for reference. Currently, after you enter the website and save it in this field, it remains as plain text. It would be great if GainSight could recognise when a full website URL is entered here and hyperlink it. This would save us tons of time from copy/pasting the website every time we need to take a look at it.
I’m running some data through Path Analyzer and the information is interesting. However what I really would like to see are the quantitative number behind each path. Is there a way to export this data to CSV for further analysis in a spreadsheet?
When filtering on rules in the Rules Engine, it would be nice if we could add filter logic. For example, I want to see any rules that have a source object OR a target object of Parent Account. But I can’t do that here It’s AND or bust.
The C360 Summary section has been the same for as long as I have been a GS admin. It would be great if this could be revamped to more customizable and allow for more than the max 6 widgets and 6 fields: There is more real estate that could be used:
These are the concerns I've been sharing with the PX team for a while now, figured I would share here as well as there are likely others with similar or tangential challenges. Feel free to share your thoughts here. Reporting Limitations Have to go to 3-4 different sections of the reporting interface to get an answer or create a report. There are substantial UI inconsistencies between the different areas of reporting. It’s like they were built individually by different teams and patched together. Some filters exist in parts of the reporting, while they don't exist in others. Again, just more inconsistencies. For example, I’m in one part of analytics and get close to what I need using a filter. I think to myself, “oooh, I could go over to that other part of analytics and use the same filter and get what I’m looking for” only to find I can’t use that filter over there. Saving or sharing is handled in 3-4 completely different ways, depending on the part of reporting you're in. Query builder is limited to returning 10 results. If we’re truly building queries here, I feel like there should be much more flexibility and accessibility. It appears to be providing “analytics" but not “insights”. It’s tough to make the leap from one to the other, but there’s too much valuable data in there to not be providing some level of both. Generally speaking, reporting feels a little immature and clunky at times. It’s becoming more of a concern for us and I hope the PX team takes a long serious look at it. Thanks for listening!
Success Plans are a great way to track where you are at on a project. My team feels that if the success plan were more interactive they could get better updates from the customers that they are working with. The goal would to be to share Success Plan portal for a specific customer to a group of users. This would then allow them to create new success plans and reprioritize existing success plans. It also would give them the ability to check things off in specific Success Plans
There's a way to filter the Cockpit using Advanced Filters, which is great, but it would be nice to be able for Admin users to apply a global filter that would show on all other users' views (like a report). We have a current use case where customers go through a series of linked CTAs/Tasks, but we would like to filter out customers that churn during the process. This currently isn't a capability that can be done via a global filter, and would require all users to apply the filter themselves.
Hi there, as we are experimenting around success plan and more importantly the CSM workflow around it - some unmet needs surfaced by the current version of Success Plan functionalities. ability to clone success plan is intended to be created/updated every quarter or 6 months or annually. The plan info may change but much info will stay the same. It will be much easier to be able to clone an existing success plan and update it to-date, instead of doing it from scratch. Ideally, I would like to be able to clone all the plan info and the objectives (CTA level, but not task level). But if to clone objectives will require cloning it for all, I think I can live it with it as well. Thanks.
Right now in dashboards, it is possible to reset any report container back to its original state that exists in report builder. For example, you change one of the filters but forget what it was originally. If the dashboard is using global dashboard filter this option is not there. So say you modify one of the non global filters and forget what the original filter was set to, there is no easy way for a user to reset this without removing the container in the dashboard layouts and adding the report back. I think you should be able to reset the report container to the original and then have the global filter still be there.
In Salesforce reporting, if I want to filter on a field that is not a "picklist," I am able to enter multiple options in the same Filter sequence, i.e. "SuperRegion" is equal to "NA, EMEA, LATAM, APAC" In Gainsight I have to enter separate filters, i.e. "SuperRegion" is equal to "NA" OR "SuperRegion" is equal to "EMEA" OR "SuperRegion" is equal to "LATAM" OR "SuperRegion" is equal to "APAC" This adds complexity to the building of reports. The filter should have the logic to be able to identify that if I have a comma separated list to treat them as separate entries, that way if I want to filter, for example on any account that falls under the SuperRegion NA or LATAM I can just enter: "SuperRegion" is equal to "NA, LATAM" This would also give users the flexibility, when accessing the filter from the Dashboard, to be able to add multiple entries or a single entry in the field upon which to sort.
Can we have folders for email templates similar to reports. This would help in organising templates and would make navigation easier
It would be nice to be able to create a calculated field in report builder similar to the calculated fields you can create in the rules engine. Currently I have a customer that needs to report on retention. They would like to be able to take the sum of one field and divide it by a number to report on one column. Then be able to display this quarter by quarter.
It would be beneficial for Reports 2.0 to have simple formula calculations available such as +, -, SUM, AVG, %. An Example where this would be helpful is with Email Logs. We have sent a survey and within Reports we currently can't report on the "Outstanding" surveys. If we could create a report with a formula that allows us to subtract completed from sent we would be able to get this data.
I had an idea for sponsor tracking and wanted to see if you guys are thinking this direction at all. Ideally, I would like to have all my sponsor tracking cards in that particular window and be able to move them around into an org chart - complete with dotted lines to other departments etc. If the card was not found in Linked in, I would like to at least add a generic one where I could put in name, title and email.
I'm posting this on behalf of Dom from Adobe Sign: The Adobe team would love to have an easy way to schedule daily outreaches in JO to be sent on week days. These need to be driven off specific days (e.g. sent 4 days after onboarding start date)The issues arise when they don't want emails to go out on a weekend (Sat. and Sunday). There is currently no easy way to ensure the outreaches do not go out on the weekend, and then on Monday all of the outreaches that would have been sent on Friday or Saturday (as they meet the criteria of being 4 days after onboarding start date for example) are set. Currently the workarounds are creating a separate powerlist/outreach for weekend outreaches (scheduled on Mondays), or adjusting the rule criteria to be a range (onboarding start date is less than n-4 but greater than n-6) but these present other challenges
I'm still in implementation with GS but I see that very quickly we're going to have a ton of rules. I'm being very strategic about the naming conventions, but it would be really helpful if I were able to create folders for the different rules to live in. Ideally there would be the ability to have folders within folders so that we can differentiate rules for Scorecards, Customers, etc and then within that nest other folders for rules that differ by segment.
Hi Community! As part of our continual process to improve our platform and user experience we are evaluating making a change to the page that is presented when you click on the Administration menu option. Currently the Administration > Customers page is shown. Feedback from a number of you has indicated that you usually skip this page and are only interested in the navigation menu, as your ultimate destination is usually another configuration page (like Rules, Dashboards, Reports, etc). The proposed change would present a page with navigation links to all of the administration sub pages. The fly over navigation on the left would still be present, however the links for all pages (and logical groupings) will also be presented and on most screen resolutions, no scrolling would be needed. This would allow you to directly click to the administration page that you were intending to use. The primary goal being that we reduce the number of clicks and key presses to find a selected administration page from 3-8 down to just 1 click. What is your feedback? Would this change be helpful? We do have more longer term plans for making the Admin Home page more useful, so stay tuned for future news on that as well.
I am happy to see that we can freeze the first column on tabular reports. We are working hard to adopt Scorecards 2.0 and some of our CSMs are very reliant on the "Scorecard Mass Edit" report type to efficiently triage customers. They need to be able to freeze the first column, Account Name in our case, in order to use the report easily with out having to struggle with multiple nested scrollbars in the UI. We'd love to see this feature added, as it was native to the Scorecard 1.0 dashboards that these new views are replacing. Original "Freeze First Column" feature found here:https://support.gainsight.com/Product_Documentation/Reports_and_Dashboards/Admin_Configuration/Repor...
For the Email logging, it looks like the only option right now to copy and paste in an email that's already been sent (ie. from Gmail). It would be nice if there a way to actually cc or bcc Gainsight to create that email log, like we can to Salesforce. It would also be nice if these were created automatically from email assist CTAs or other outreaches sent from GS.
Hello team! In our Report Builder, we have the ability to set custom colors, but only at a Global level. There exist certain circumstances where using these color options will actually limit the types of reports that you can build out, due to the custom color field being required to be in the By section. To bypass this, it would be useful to have the option to alternatively be able to change the color of a specific visualized element in Report Builder. For example, being able to click a column in a a graph and simply "select" a new color for this specific column. This would be incredibly useful. Thanks, Logan Thome
I'm wondering if we have anything on the roadmap regarding the ability to attach files to an update in CS360 Timeline view? We currently have the ability to create a link within the notes which is extremely useful, but it may also be useful to have the ability to attach an xls, csv, or doc file to the Notes section as well!
Hi All, We are thinking about a new 'Person' section in C360 / R360 where you can view and manage (add/edit/delete) all the external people in the context of a customer. Some of the features we are thinking for this section are: End User Functionality: See and edit person’s information such as Name, Email, Title, Location, Phone #, Social media links. Edit some of the information inline. Ability to create a new person. Option to view people in tabular as well as in an org chart view (by identifying another person as the reporting manager). Users should also be able see other tabular views of people based on reports configured by the admin. See last touch point / activity from any person (e.g. NPS Response, Activity from Timeline) Capture notes / comments for any person (e.g. Group Leader, Willing to give a video testimonial or be a referral etc.) Eventually the Sponsor Tracking feature would work on top of this section. Take actions for each person such as sending an email. Health scoring at Person level. Admin Configuration: Enable / Disable Person section for any C360 / R360 layout. Ability to select reports that can be viewed from Person section in a Layout. Configure what fields will be shown in tabular & org chart views of the section. Need your inputs on the following: How useful will this feature / section be for you? What do you think is the most useful functionality among the ones listed. Any other specific functionality that we should think about while building this section? Which of the above mentioned functionality would make sense for you at a Person level (Person360) vs. Person in the context of a given customer. All this functionality may not be available at one go. Your inputs would help us in prioritising our effort correctly. Thanks! Rajesh
