We use Yesware to sync our emails with Salesforce. Yesware provides a "sync with SF" button which would be awesome to have for Gainsight. Our team uses Timeline very heavily and would be great if they could have their emails from gmail sync into Timeline and log it as an email activity. If this is not available, is there a way to sync emails from Gmail to Gainsight directly (without having to sync to SF and then run a report in Gainsight on the SF activity)
This is a huge issue for us as we need the ability to select the widget within a dashboard and it pop up with a report that provides that information. Unfortunately today, we have to use our dashboard space and create a widget and a report (details of the widget number) instead of the system showing the report when the widget is selected.
Our AMs want to use the C360 page as their primary Customer view. One thing holding them back is visibility to the Notes and Attachments section found on the Account Page. Currently there is no way to add this as a section.
We are currently working to build reports on Scorecard 2.0 for the long tail of our customers (25,000+). The hope was to do this using the "mass edit" report type which would allow for our 1:Many CSM's to filter various columns in the reports to identify trends. However, it appears that only the first 100 rows are being pulled into the report and being applied when filtering. Is this a bug? Or is this a limitation that will be addressed in the near future?
Love the new attachments feature in Timline. Unfortunately our whole Sales team does not have access to Gainsight and CSMs attach all their materials in timline. It would be great to be able to autosync attachments from Gainsight into a SF object.
First off, I love the Gantt Chart feature and think it will be immensely helpful. I also know that feature is in Beta right now, so if my request is already on the roadmap, that's fine. However, I noticed the following issue when trying to load a success template. What I want to do is be able to load a 4-week success plan template that contains one objective CTA per week. Each objective CTA would then have a playbook attached so that the template would essentially be a project plan with four objectives and about 20 total tasks. The issue is that when I apply that template, it automatically makes my start date in the Gantt Chart equal to the created date of the CTA. I can't edit that created date in the CTA or in the Gantt Chart, so I'm stuck with a project plan this. What I want to be able to do is stagger the start dates for Weeks 2-4 so that the bar is only a few days long rather than all of them starting on the day I create the CTA. Are there any plans on the roadmap to make this editable, or better yet, is there a good alternative solution to accomplish what I'm looking for?
I've recently been working with a customer who has been testing out Advanced Outreach functionality and has successfully completed their testing. Now that testing is complete, they would like to delete the AO tests that are cluttering their Advanced Outreach list, and start over with just outreaches that will be used as customer facing. The problem we're facing is that I've recently been informed that once an Advanced Outreach has been moved out of a "draft" state, we no longer have the ability to delete them from the UI or from the back end. I'm wondering if we can expect the ability to delete unused Advanced Outreaches from the UI in a coming release? I could see this being an issue for customers that do thorough testing before going live with a new process. Thanks, -Tom
Please, add an ability to convert any useful instruction or answer provided by any community member to Article. Actually it is one of trending features of modern communities - to collect community knowledgebase by users instructions which can solve a lot of cases then. It would be nice every article has its own direct link to have an ability to provide it to customers. This ability allows to save moderator's time (he/she does not need to create such articles him-/herself). Also users trust other users more than brand representatives. And also it might be used as an additional engagement approach - user's whose posts become articles feels respected and/or might be promoted.
It would be helpful to have an action button on the timeline post named "Email Post" that works withlike email assist. Having the ability to email an entire timeline post to all of the internal and external contacts listed in the timeline post, including attachments, would be great. The efficiency gain in post call notes would be felt immediately.
I see a lot of times where an advanced outreach is published and the participants are sitting in the queue waiting to send. I think it would help to add some sort of indication that this is the case. Right now it only states these participants as a "New" as their state but you have to do a little digging in the analytics to find it. Ideally, AO emails would go out immediately after publishing though 🙂
When creating an outreach template it would be great if you could add a previously created tabular formatted report. This is not presently an option.
Can we have a option to delete fields in MDA objects
Currently our CSMs can create email activities in Salesforce using Lightning for Outlook, or BCC'ing an email address. This functionality does not work with Gainsight, and we are requesting it as an enhancement. If Gainsight should truly hold all the notes and communication with the client, the CSMs should have an easy way to save emails and attachments from Outlook.
Similar to being able to create different page layouts for customer, partners, etc. in Salesforce I would like to be able to do the same for the C360.
As you all know, low touch customers are managed differently than high touch customers. Therefore, the CSM team members have asked to have the ability to define their preference with regards to the C360 page. Ideally, each of them could define how they would like to have the sections sorted and which sections to hide. That being said, I see a lot of similarity in the way that the CSM manage their account. Therefore, providing the ability to define the page layout by user role, user profile, or customer segment, would be effective and helpful too.
Can we have Bionic rules included in the Gainsight Snapshots? I just downloaded a snapshot of our instance of Gainsight and realized bionic rules are not included in the report. Ever since bionic rules were created, we have slowly been transitioning our rules over. Now about half our rules are bionic, and without them the snapshot is much less usable than it was.
It drives me a bit batty that, when I report on health scores, using "Current Score Name", I get the hexadecimal color. It'd be great if this actually rendered the color, like it does in UI Views Reporting: UI Views:
We create so many actions on rules that are very similar with a slight change. It would be nice to be able to clone that action so we do not have to create an entirely new duplicate action. This would reduce human error.
Customers often want to display hyperlinks in the C360 Summary, in CTAs and Playbooks and reports in GS home that will allow the user to jump to other relevant material. Respecting these hyperlink in our UI will go a long way towards usability!
Has any thought been given to implementing a meeting agenda builder in the C360? It would be very handy for our CSMs to be able to have a template into which they can pull in contacts, objectives from the Success Plan, and add any other specific agenda items right into Gainsight, and then export as a PDF or directly email from C360. Being able to add the customer's logo to the agenda would be a nice touch. Being able to then type up meeting minutes in the agenda and send back out to a customer would also be a nice way to close the loop.
I would like to see that the order of featured topics is no longer based on chronological order, but based on when a topic has received their 'featured_' label. The requirement for featuring a topic right now is that it should be as recent as possible. For me it makes more sense that the most important criteria for a featured topic should be the relevance, instead of the 'newness'. 😉
We have the need to have Rules run more frequently than once a day for urgent SLAs. Would like the ability to select frequency on the Rules.
For CTAs with Playbooks, the CTA due date defaults to the due date of the last Task in the Playbook series. It would be helpful if the CTA Due Date could reflect the next Task due in the series of Tasks. If Cockpit is sorted by Due Date, end-users can essentially now see their list of Tasks in chronological order vs having to expand the Tasks and filter through them to see which ones are coming due.
Our team is often creating additional documentation outside of Success Plans to help communicate the overall status of the plan to customers. The desire is to have a one pager to quickly go over the timeline and where each objective stands. Here is a visual of what we use today: We would love to have the ability to create this out of the Success Plan export. Better yet, it would be a new 'tab' next to Collaboration that allows you to view a full summary that can be based off of Objectives and/or tasks within those objectives.
Our head of Professional Services wants to use Timeline to essentially do time-tracking for her team, using an activity's Duration field. However, she'd like for me to be able to set the Duration field to be required before an activity can be saved.
