After launching the new 360 experience I came up with the following ideas related to improved UX:Don't force widgets to snap to the top of the page on summary - it would be nice to have it work like dashboards where you don’t force everything to the top Add a rich text section like we have in dashboards - this allows for a place to put help text and explain content users see in the summary section Current workaround is using a rule to update a field on EVERY company/relationship record and then show that field  Ability to have a hover-over description field on reports Section descriptions within Attributes (this was available on the old 360 but not on the new one)

Idea: Move the first Edit Post button next to or below the "Opening post" heading, and move the Save Changes, and Cancel buttons above or near the edit toolbar.Justification: After selecting Control to edit an article, one must scroll past the article to select Edit Post, scroll back up to the top of the article to begin editing it, and return to the end to select Save Changes or Cancel. The result when editing a lot of long articles is unnecessary repetitive stress and a sore hand. Editing is done with the edit toolbar in view, so its a more convenient location for the Save Changes and Cancel buttons. 

The Timeline activity post language with the new(er) feature which logs JO emails to timeline is difficult to understand, and has led to some confusion amongst our CSMs. I think it would be great if we could have Gainsight change the language to flow more smoothly, or be given the option to change it ourselves to be in line with our individual company messaging language styles.My proposal for the Gainsight led language change would be something along the lines of:Change the current sentence of "x emails were triggered as part of this automated program can be viewed in this activity" to "x emails which were triggered as part of this automated program can be viewed in this activity" The original sentence is incorrectly tensed and is confusing Change "Send Email" to "Emails Sent" This avoids confusion where CSMs worry that they'll be triggering a secondary email by clicking the viewing pane  I raised a ticket with support and was advised that this is not a feature available at present. I

There are multiple ways to supply PX with User / Account data:Identify Call PX API PX Data Loader Integrations (Salesforce, S3)Currently, it’s possible to see which fields are being sent through the Identify Call (via User Profile Activity), and the Integration configurations will denote which fields are mapped between the sources. Though, preferably, the sources can also be presented in the Audience and Account Explorer areas of PX. Request:Indicate the data source of User and Account attribute fields in the Audience and Account Explorer areas of PX.

Hi.Recently, I tried to load the Internal/External Attenees list to the Milestone Activity using “Load to Activities” Action in Rules. But I am unable to choose any feild for the Internal/External Attenees Field.Screenshot: My use-case was very stright forward. Every month we are conducting some Weibinar sessions using SFDC Campaings. So all the Participants list will be store in SFDC Object with the Contact Email and Name.So right now, what we are doing it, we are searching for the recent weibinar and Attendees List. And opening the particular C360 Page related to that contact and creating a Milestone with all the necessary fields along with the Attendee Name.Doing this process was very lenghty and time taking.So we thought to automate it via rules. But we are unable to choose any field in the Attendees Field. If we have a Option to select or map the Contact Email or Conatct Name to this Attendees field would be a huge help for our team. Thanks. 

Hello Team,When we rename the report used in a pre-built section of a layout, the report name is not getting updated in pre-built section as well as the layout.Other changes(adding filters) are getting updated but not the name of the report.Similarly when the related list name is changed in pre-built section, can we get it updated in the layout.Thanks & Regards,Srikanth

For Engagement Localization, we would like event analytics to understand not just:What was the users language when an engagement fired, but What language did the engagement present when the engagement fired.I would also like this data associated with the engagement analytics. I don’t know that it’s enough to look at Query Builder Engagement view by user language.  Is this available in PX and I just haven’t found it yet?How are other people solving this? 

Since realizing engagements (surveys included) within PX can be launched by Query Parameters (<url>?key=value&key2=value2), i’ve found this as an effective way to drop in hyperlinks and custom buttons to launch between engagements (such as chaining engagements back-to-back in a series).   That said, I’d like to see the ability for PX surveys to capture additional query parameters (preferably by defining the extra/valid parameters when creating the survey).   I’d like to use this functionality specifically in the following way:Feedback mechanism for In-App Guides (many-to-1):   Include a link or custom button to launch the boolean survey (?guide=survey1) but be able to extend this by adding an additional hidden field to the survey (such as ?guide=survey1&previous=cookiesguide1) which tells me which guide triggered the survey.   This way I don’t need feedback surveys 1:1 for our 100+ guides. Capturing consistent feedback in-app unrelated to guides (say CES or Boolean), but

Every time a filter is changed on the dashboard, we get the message - You have made some modifications to the dashboard. Do you want us to remember them? While it may be convenient for one off changes, sometimes people are navigating around the filters and would not like to be prompted every time they change a value. There should be an option to turn off the message.

This is admittedly a pretty niche idea but I thought I’d throw it out there. Have you ever been working in a rule and you have a LOT of fields in the Show Me section and you make an oopsie and toss something in to Group By? Surprise, all of the fields in Show Me now have an aggregation applied! If you remove the Group By field, you still need to manually reset the aggregation on all of your Show Me fields which is painful. This happens to me more than I’d like to admit in Transform steps because Group By is between Show Me and the Filters section and I have bad aim.  It would be super convenient if there were a way to retain all fields in Show Me, but reset (remove) the aggregation quickly. Maybe a single “reset aggregation” button somewhere, or just a quicker click-path to removing the aggregation on a single entry, either way would be awesome. 

our CSMs would love the ability to have the system make available “distro lists” of the People Maps they have created. Whoever they put on their People Maps for each organization reflects the contacts they speak to the most, and what they are involved in, whether it is an expansion or a renewal conversation.  Per each People Map, it would be cool to have some kind of button that says “Email this Map” and automatically copy all the email addresses so they can paste it into an outlook email, gmail, wherever.. 

When creating a recurring CTA, could there be an option that the future required CTAs are only created/visible based on the recurrence date sequence entered?E.g. today, if you create a recurring CTA and select that they are required weekly over a period of 30 days all the 4 CTAs are created immediately Could there be an option where the CTAs are only created once they reach the requested time stamp e.g. 1st CTA created 7th-Mar, 2nd CTA 14th March, 3rd CTA 21st March, 4th on the 28th MarchThanks!  

We recently switched to the new C360. The CSM Summary tab in the Gainsight Widget in Zendesk now looks strange and is only showing 3 data points straight away (see screenshot attached). I’d recommend adjusting the widget sizes so it displays useful information without scrolling down.

Is there a way to limit the licenses for customers in User Management? I do see a common use case around GS license deployment with my customers. We do not have any mechanism to restrict the customers from deploying licenses more than they have purchased. Few of the customers bought viewer licenses but deployed them as full licenses for a significant amount of time until we checked. It would be good to have a check/pop up displayed when they exceed the number of licenses they deploy and if possible - by type. 

There is a limit to the # of custom attributes we can have in Gainsight PX. However, we do need to collect information to improve our user experience. PX already collects information such as Inferred Location, etc., but does not include Inferred Language or Language Preference as a built-in attribute. I believe that language preference is vital to know for many companies that create engagements and seek to report on user behavior in PX. Due to this, Inferred Language and/or Language Preference should be available as a built-in attribute in PX.

Per the new Horizon Update for Attribute feature you can now edit searchability within the C360 layout:However for low volume object that are editable we are still unable to searches within the user object or person object. Can you please help us figure out why search-ability is not possible for low-volume objects. @pgeorge @sai_ram @ayates  Use case: Account Team low volume object to be able to do manual assignments for CSMs, Success executives, professional services, Technical account managers, ETC. This is our current view for add new records within low volume in the new horizon. We would like to search for an email address within user object for this field. 

Hello team, I just noticed this and not sure if this has always been this way. Created by and Modified by field are not look up fields? why? If wanted to grab data for the user profile like email or name or manager’s name it become impossible. We had to create a duplicate field and run a rule to input into a custom field so that we can have a look up.Can this be a permanent change to the system fields to look up to user object for all create by and modified by? Best Regards, Darshana shah

I think a good engine of how restricting permissions to features should be done is the way C360 layouts are assigned. It allows flexibility to limit both on the Currently Logged-in user, but also on Company fields.It’s important that Success Snapshots have the same features. Filtering by industry, customer type, customer lifecycle stage or any other custom field - all of these things would allow showing only the most relevant snapshot templates in the export selection. As it stands, unless you want to limit to user groups, which is not a good way to do it on a large scale, you have to show all templates on all accounts.  

Managing sponsor tracking on a per-customer basis is not scalable for my SMB customer success team. It takes dozens and dozens of clicks to navigate to each C360, into the contact section, to the sponsor tracking section, etc., to enable and accept matches for each individual contact. We have built reports to allow us to see which customers have contacts that are not yet being tracked, but this does not reduce the manual toil to enable tracking for each of them.We need functionality to be able to manage sponsor tracking in a central location across our entire portfolio rather than within C360 on a per-customer basis.

When viewing reports in C360 there is this amazing checkbox “Show data from all children”, which aggregates the report to include not only the data from the account itself, but also from all children accounts below it.It would be very beneficial to have this feature when configuring reports in a Success Snapshot. In our case, there are a lot of times when users would like to bring their snapshots to an important QBR where relevant information may be not only on the entity itself, but also its children.If we had such a checkbox we could make two templates - one with it unchecked on all reports, and one with it checked. Users could then choose what kind of data scope do they want. Alternatively, maybe this checkbox could be on the export popup itself, instead of the config.If there’s an argument to be made for data sensitivity between different accounts I would say it could honor Data Permissions that are already set.

Greetings!In Analytics, the date range for reports is visually limited to the current date or earlier, but users are still able to manually enter a future date without receiving an error message. https://share.getcloudapp.com/DOul0E2L .The suggestion from a customer is to display an error message similar to the one shown in the engagement schedule when a past date is selected, to alert the user that a future date is not a valid selection. When you use a Preconfigured Section in the new C360 layout, and add that section to various layout(s), then change the name of the Preconfigured Section, the name change is not cascaded to the section in each layout where it is used and instead retains the old name of the Preconfigured Section. This means you need to go into each layout where the section is used and update the name individually.I would like to see a name change of a preconfigured section cascade to the layouts where the section is used.

I think it’d be an immense time saver to have the ability to click a button that selects all available fields for a report and pushes them to the “Show Me” box. This feature should be available for any area of the UI where fields are available for reporting: Report Builder, Data Designer (Explore Section), Rules, etc. The current method for adding fields to the Show Me section is good if you only have a handful of fields you want to see, but any time there’s a need for 10+ fields, the number of clicks required just to see data starts to get out of hand. The same goes for building rules. Say I want to add a Transform to the end of a rule that has a large number of fields. Rather than clicking one button that would copy/paste all available fields into the Show Me section (and delete the one or two I don’t need), I’d have to click and drag each field over one at a time.
