We are not able to access the second-level lookup for the custom lookup field in the Rule engine. But we are able to access the standard lookup field for the second level.Can we able to access the second-level lookup for the custom lookup field as well.

Currently have a use case where I need to map the Measure Group scores back to Salesforce for visibility, and I can’t find a standard GS object with the measure groups stored. If they were part of the fact objects, that would be tremendously helpful.

It looks like this is the default setting: Preview limited to Moderator roles or aboveThe link to change the permissions (to anyone with the link) seems to work only for that individual article. is there a way to set the default to be anyone with the link for all articles and net new drafts?  Use case: I’d like to use a custom role to give colleagues content permissions to draft and publish within a specific forum.It’s not sustainable to have to edit each of their article permissions so they can preview before publishing.  Giving them full moderator permissions gives them access to the User and Setting modules, including access to view data and edit settings that I do not want them to have. 

In the new Simple Programs setup, we no longer have the option to allow “accounts with an invalid id to enter” and to associate them to a “default account”. We would still like to have this feature as we heavily rely on it in our advanced programs as well. Advanced Programs:Simple Programs:

Hi,I use a lot the “Embedded website” section in C360 to display a custom beautiful webpage with the plan components of our customers.However, it would be so useful if I could display this webpage as a widget that could be set into the summary C360 layout, next to the last activities and below the timeline of the new C360.In that case, my teamates could see in one sight all main information on our customers, including the beautiful activities widget that is available in the new C360, the beautiful timeline, and our custom plan components webpage.Could it be possible to develop that ?Thanks,Best,Marc

Hello Team, When we try to build the report and drill down the columns with decimal places are showing with 5 decimal places as default.Example: value as 0.00000(even we keep the decimal places as 2) Please try to make an enhancement that honour decimal places mentioned in data management or rules engine. Thank you in advance

Our CSMs create custom views within Timeline filtered to each of their clients so that they can toggle between their clients right there in Timeline without having to go to the C360 for each client. Once they have created a custom view it remains ordered in the list of Custom Views by the time it was created. They would like the ability to re-order these custom views so they can put them in order of volume or alphabetize them.  Currently they would have to delete all of the views and then re-enter them to be in the order they want them to appear.

When trying to attach a .sh or a .zip file to an email template, it says the file is not supported

It is very common for companies to have contractors they use on a different email domain than their employees.  Unfortunately, we are not able to add more than one email domain in the SAML configuration today.  What this means is that we are unable to add any of our contractors to Gainsight as users with SAML based authentication.  It would be nice if you could add multiple email domains so it would switch to a SSO auth request automatically.  

The standard (system) field “Managed As” on Company is super useful for filtering etc, but I’ve found that my inability to add values to it has limited me in some specific cases. For instance, it would be great if I could add a “free customer” or something like that for non-paying accounts (promotionals etc) or “strategic” for one-off customers being handled by a different team of folks. This would keep me from having to co-opt an existing field or create something brand new just to handle those few cases, and it fits the Managed As field well. Generally, being able to add / edit this dropdown would be super helpful for admins looking to further customize their instance. 

Today Gong integration is very limited and is asking to practice some ideal conditions that the author of the timeline needs to log the calls within the first 15 mins of recording. Most of the time the call last 30 min or more and CSMs generally hit “Log Activity” at the end of the call which an intuitive and natural path.Just for the integration to work our CSMs have to remember to log activity and then find it and update it. And the sync is not real time so our CSMs have to wait 4 hours for the call to show up in GS and manually copy over the notes! Not at all scalable and helpful. We want the sync to be near real time and allow users and admins to manually merge calls in GS Timeline.

I find I am often logging emails in Gainsight Assist but then its from a new contact and to add that new contact I need to switch over to Gainsight and log the contact manually that way. It would be excellent if you could search the company of the contact then if its an unrecognized contact you could just add the contact right from GS Assist

Hey :) As a newbie to the Insided I was wondering if there are any workarounds to add a new tab under the “Forum” Module. Looks like we can only add Categories, recent active and unanswered but wondering if there are any ideas on how to add a category that shows the most popular by likes. Thanks! 

It would be great if when you logged an email via Gmail that it gave you the ability to tag the email via the plugin, right now, it’s quite admin heavy to have to go into your timeline and retrospectively tag all the emails you log. The majority of our communication is via email and this means we lose a lot of data if CM’s forget to tag

On behalf of a customer,      When an email fails due to a soft bounce, the current design is that an Admin must utilize email reporting objects (Email Log, Email Logs V2, Email Raw Events, etc.) in order to review the failures, since the email address will show as valid in Email Validator. This leads to extra actions being taken to review the failures.     It would be more efficient if Admins were able to review all email failures from within the Email Validator feature, by adding a separate tab or some other means, which integrates with the available reporting. This would provide for a centralized hub where Admins can review the failures, instead of the extra navigation and time spent.       Please take this into consideration for the future roadmap.

Hi,I’m newer to Gainsight so forgive me if this is possible, but in chatting with the Gainsight support team they said it’s currently not and there aren’t existing requests open. It would be great if fields were editable in various ways after being saved. For example, if the display name could be edited (i.e. not the field_name) or if values in a dropdown list could be edited/added to. It’s very difficult to predict future business needs/changes, and as a result, it’s not entirely feasible to have everything about a field exactly correct when setting it up for all future business cases. From what I understand the workaround is to create a new field, find everywhere the old field is being used and replace it with the new one, but that can require an extreme amount of work and I may end up with a new field name that I don’t want (ex: ‘Risk Status’ becomes ‘Risk Status - New’) as a result of a necessary business change. If this type of editing is poss

I have often come across Customer asks - If they can assign a CTA to more than one owner? At times more than one team are involved during customer journey and even though the playbook tasks can be assigned to different owners but also CTAs need to have more than one owner from respective teams.Is there any roadmap for this in near future?

Recently I have been looking into the dashboards to speed up my data retrieval. Although I still put the data in Excel for more detailed use, I do miss some variables in the dashboards. The two biggest for me, 1- Custom user role We use this a lot to define different beta-test and other user groups. 2- Main categories With a lot of sub categories and no filter save option on dashboards I would like to ex- or include larger batches than clicking all the sub forums one by one. I would love to hear and see what else others may come up with. --- Besides the variables, I would like to discuss the filter possibilities. Hi Team, Client Name: Lockstep‍ has mentioned that it would be helpful if we can alert before deleting a folder. Currently there is no alert. 

When ever customer uploads the CSV file as the exclusion list in the JO program and if they have any spaces in the data then system is not throwing any error message at the time of uploading the file and hence customers are thinking that the file is fine and running the program. If there is any way to get a message stating that the data has some spaces in it while loading the CSV file would be very helpful for the customers.

When adding assets such as images to a post or event or other content, it would be helpful to be able to browse an external source for that asset such as Google Drive rather than just your local system. Alternatively, it those assets could also be pulled via a direct URL.

Today if a topic has the same title inSided doesn’t allow for this to be posted, you have to alter the title. Given that the location of the content is often unique, would prefer to have the system allow for duplicate titles.Places where this becomes annoying:Introduction categories - where new joiners need to creatively think up a new title each time rather than us being able to standardize these so they contain something like their role, city/location Communications that we need to post across multiple groups. In these cases we’re sharing the same information with each group generally, but mindlessly need to adjust the title each time.

Hi there,  I’ve noticed that we’re pretty limited on what we’re allowed to do when setting up Search Configuration at the Relationship level. Our use case is that a lot of our CSMs search for customers via a 7-digit ID that exists on the Customer object. We have this ID as one of our searchable fields at the Company level.However, in order to have this ID also be able to search Relationship records, we apparently have to copy that field on to the Relationship object in the MDA. This is inconvenient and adds unnecessary overhead. I’d like to just have access to the field via a lookup in the Search Configuration section. Thanks for considering.
