 [Customer request]:Hi Team,As per the current functionality, while creating the recurring CTA’s, it creates a dummy parent event where recurring = true in the call to object. These parent CTAs will not show up in the Cockpit view, because that view will only show events where recurring does not equal true.However, customer has few reports configured on ‘call to action’ and they have to manually update the filter to exclude this parent CTA event as it is causing discrepancies.Customer would like to share his feedback on this to avoid this manual updation of filter as there have many reports.

I would like my Success Plan timeline items to be included in the content I can “Share” with my customers.This would allow me to keep meeting notes and gong recordings of my cadence calls in a space where my customers can revisit it, as needed. It would be useful to review as a “What have you done for me lately” motion. It would create a common workspace that Updates could be made and shared on progress, by us and by the customer.

For the tableau reports used in the dashboard we would need to sign in to Tableau again. If the user has already logged in to ADA (Okta for example) and accessing Gainsight and Tableau via it, the expectation is that the users shouldn't be asked to sign in again for the Tableau server based reports that are used in dashboards.https://help.tableau.com/current/server/en-us/trusted_auth.htm

I would like to give my CSMs & managers the ability to select from a list of pre-configured GS Home layouts. It’s a pain to assign the layouts to each user and I would like to give them the ability to switch between different views.

It seems a bit clunky to have end users be able to create their own reports, but have no dashboard to organize them so that they don't have to go back to R2.0 every time they want to run a single report.  Similar to the way the Customers tab has a default "My Customers" view, I should be able to create a My Dashboard layout under the Gainsight tab which includes the ability for an end user to attach reports that he/she created without having to go into Administration and design a new layout.

To better follow workflow, I'd like to recommend a change to the order of links in the CoPilot sidebar. It has always seemed strange to me that Power Lists were first. The first thing I do when working on outreaches is draft the email. Here would be the proposed order: Templates Power Lists Advanced Outreaches* Outreaches Analytics* The reason I chose for Advanced Outreaches to be 3rd instead of the 5th they are now is because more and more customers are moving to Advanced Outreaches. It would better map the workflow for this to be 3rd versus 5th.

I’ve been chatting with Support/CSM and they said there currently isn’t a way to export the Customer Health Score from Gainsight, besides embedding it into Salesforce. I’m looking to export it to a BI tool through Gainsight’s API and was hoping to see this on the roadmap.

I am in the process of creating a success snapshot. I am having some issues when it comes to the slides and how the success plan template from Gainsight fits into the success snapshot. Issues are listed below1. Sorting of slides ( Gainsight Template for success plan)Currently shown in alphabetical order, are there any plans to have the option to sort the slides based on the objectives?2. Plan Owner Image - is there a way to have the CSM salesforce image populate in there based on the person exporting the snapshot? 

Presently, when a PX user lacks the sufficient user permissions/authorization to create an API key, the creation process doesn’t error out or provide feedback to the user about the behavior. The user just sees a spinning wheel until the session times out.

I think there is an opportunity to have a history of when the connectors were last re-authorized and it failed or was successful. There is a limitation with the Dynamics connector refreshing every 90 days and it would be helpful if we could see when it was last refreshed. This would help us be more proactive and re-authorizing the connector before it fails and even troubleshooting issues. I have to coordinate with an admin to get the connector re-authorized. 

When creating a “Close CTA” rule the option to “+Criteria” is available, but the criteria is not used unless the “Include in Identifiers” options is marked. This can cause confusion for users and if the option to “+Criteria” was blocked unless that box was marked then users wouldn’t think that the criteria is being used.

I am interested in creating a guided onboarding flow using gainsight. Imagine a checklist (KC bot) which contains 5 different items that we want customers to do. Imagine a guided tour (engagement) per checklist item.The issue that I’m currently facing is to tie the end of an engagement to a particular trigger that it gets marked as complete only once that trigger is achieved. That trigger can be a custom event raised / CSS element that gets visible on the screen.(Don’t want the item to be marked as complete once the user has seen the last page/screen of the engagement.)

Sometimes Moderators would post an update and it falls off the grid for succeeding updates.An automation rule to remind Moderator to engage back on Idea threads for all stages till the Idea state is changed to : Implemented/Not planned etc.This is a scheduled auto notification and the period can be set by the Community manager to a frequency of Monthly/Quarterly etc

For some posts and content we have a deadline for replies. An example of this might be a contest. It would be helpful if you could set a topic to close at a certain time in these instances to avoid entries that come in post the closure.

We would like to access the possibility of implementing a preview option for smartphone view/version of an article, so we can see how the article looks and improve the user experience in Fórum NOS. We would also like to know if it would be possible to enable video resizing, a like the similar option that exists for pictures. This would be important because large videos take up a lot of space in articles, and end up steering the focus from the article core.That said, do you think it would be possible to implement this features in the near future?

We have several update posts that go out on a regular basis. I would love to have the ability to create a template that community managers can apply to a post.  The way I’m thinking about it now, the template would include a standard layout and images (ie. icons, header etc) that could not be modified, but the content within each section could be updated. Somewhat similar to how some CMS systems work. I know we can create draft posts, but I’m concerned that the draft posts will be deleted or changed accidentally, so it would be very helpful to have something that speeds content creation and isn’t easily broken. 

I was talking to Gainsight Support and they advised me that when you update the currency rate in the Currency Management, that it updates everything in Gainsight. This is a problem because currency rates change on a regular basis and it’s going to skew our data. It makes my job harder and will need to find a work around in my Dynamics CRM. I cannot have my historical financial data change because of the adjustment to the currency conversion rate. A few suggestions:Add history for the currency conversions - gives us an overview of when the rates have changed  Ability to only update the currency conversion rate when it’s been updated (e.g. conversion rate updated on July 1 - anything after July 1 will reflect the new rates)  This is a big impact on my organization because we deal with multiple currency and need our financials to be converted to a specific one.  

It will be great if people may vote/mark questions as "Good idea" or "I have the same question". Sometime people don't want to create a separate topic and they just post a small message in an existing topic. Even this small message may be very important. Other users may mark this message differently and in this case small important message won't remain without attention.

Evening!This is just a simple one related to some security stuff I’ve been having fun with recently. And yes, inSided does know what that fun is. XDIt’s just a small thing, but I was thinking about it recently. Something that might be helpful, would be a link on the login page for Control that leads back to Community, just in case someone happens to randomly stumble across Control by mistake and doesn’t realise that they’re in the wrong place. Especially when a certain @JessPritch has a habit of accidentally grabbing the Control URL for threads rather than the Community URL for them when she’s replying to questions… When combined with a recent Top Sekrit Security Fix (which is a Blastoise Speciale after all!), this should help to more or less resolve any potential confusion.

I’ve received feedback it would be encouraging for our customers and partners if their company logo can show in the leaderboard. Any thoughts on this? 

The tag cloud in the side bar would ideally present tags from within the same category / sub category that it lives, not just the general all public tags.
