The equivalent of integration.UserProfileUpdated, but for custom User Roles. MVP: Webhook for when a role is added Ideal: Webhook for when user role(s) change Primary role updated Custom role(s) added or removed Use CasesVisibility and automating visibility. A request I’ve seen often is to be notified when a user moves up a rank. This could enable a work around for those who want that. (They could set the rank to add a custom user role, then build an automation based on this webhook.) Similarly, there’s no webhook for when a a user becomes eligible for a segment. But if the segment is based on a custom user role (that’s added via automation), this could provide visibility as that happens. Automating next steps for that user role Updating other systems, visibility for other stakeholders, etc.
Customer would like the ability to see usage of specific dashboards (and reports) that are being used and what is not being used (as well as what specific users are using specific reports). Right now, we do not have this granular insight, but would like to submit this idea.
System emails or Slack integration sends the URL in shorthand (ex. https://community.your-domain.com/questions/1234) which is then gets redirected to the full URL (https://community.your-domain.com/category-name/title-with-hyphens-1234).Because of this redirect, URL tags currently get stripped from the URL after the page redirects. (ex. https://community.your-domain.com/questions/1234?utm_source=sys_email loses the highlighted part when it redirects to the full URL)It would be great if URL tags persisted so the community can use UTM tags to track where customers are coming from.Use Case: Allow for email and slack tracking to better understand how customers are reaching the community and give insights into customers receiving email notifications.
We would like a system that allows us to register external attendees when creating a timeline. Many users on the ground have expressed that it's cumbersome to first create a draft without registering people in the timeline and then manually register them individually afterward. If we could register people in parallel with timeline creation, it would greatly improve work efficiency. We kindly ask for your consideration.
Hi Team,Currently, we are supporting single picklist as dependent field but not multi picklist in Cockpit. Customers are looking to a have this functionality so that based on the controller field selection the dependent picklist options are only displayed.
Currently, we need to manually type the relationship name in the associated record tab for it to populate. Instead of searching, we would like all associated relationships for the account to be automatically populated, allowing the CSM to select from the available options.
Our moderator posted few days back to our community and it was marked as a spam. Normal post, no reason to mark as a spam. Support said this is planned behaviour. So my wish is that all the “community team” roles should be automatically bypassed from the spam filter. We trust our employees.
Hi Team,After reviewing the developers' page, I noticed options for "Bulk enroll people in learning paths" and "Bulk enroll people in courses." However, I believe it would be beneficial to also include a "Bulk delete" feature, such as "Bulk delete people in learning paths" and "Bulk delete people in courses."Thanks
My company uses relationships as part of CS. We would love to be able to re-order the search configuration so that it shows above the person (object). This will allow end users to find the right areas relationship of the company much faster. Thanks,Anthony
It would be great to have the ability to have additional details from a Gong timeline activity available. Right now there are limited features available once a Gong call has been brought into Gainsight and we’d love the ability to create actionable activities based on the call in Gong. One of our ideas is to have the “sentiment” field available so we could trigger a risk CTA or CTA based on the call sentiment. It would also be great to pull the action items and notes out of the timeline activity to allow better use of the information.
It would be helpful to have a Collapse All - Expand All toggle at the top that is sticky.
I would like to select all of my settings before refreshing the analytics for the adoption report. I wanted to look at analytics for a specific mapping for the last 30 days. This mapping is under a few modules. I clicked the top module and I had to wait for the analytics to refresh before clicking the next module. I had to wait again before clicking on the actual feature. Then I realized I was in QA and changed it to production, which moved me up the tree and I had to do it all over again for production. I’d like to be able to set all of my options without waiting for it to refresh every time (or if it refreshes, allow me to continue navigating to my final destination).
In the current configuration, when a user Opts out of a communication type (set in the Opt-Out Configuration section), the ONLY way for the user to get that changed is to contact their CSM or other internal contact, and have them change it via the Email Validator option. The customer user can not self service. Also, there is NO option to programmatically update the Opt-Outs in the system… it is not accessible to use Rules Engine to perform any kind of maintenance or management of Opt-Outs.A new page where the customer puts in their email address, and their current opt-outs are displayed, and allows them to make changes, and submit them, and then receive a confirmation email to validate the changes were truly made by them. We as admins could then build an Operational email with a LINK to this page and send it to our contacts asking them to validate their current Opt-Out settings. The ONLY way to do this now would be to create a NEW Opt-Out category, and then send the Non-Operational email using that category to all users, and give them specific instructions NOT to click the first Opt-Out option, and use the second one so they can review and manage their preferences. And then if you EVER want to do it again (i.e. annual maintenance), you would have to create ANOTHER Opt-Out option, etc etc.
Per current functionality, if a user has re-ordered any of the sections of a C360 Layout by use of the “Personalize Sections” function, it appears that any new sections added to the layout by the admin/s will automatically be appended to the end of the existing sections (last position), regardless of the section order configured in the C360 Editor. It seems that the only ways to get around this are (1) to have each user individually reset the order after admins make any changes to the layout, or (2) the layout must be replaced with a clone of itself to get around the user state preservation on the original layout. To avoid this, it would be helpful to have the ability to force-clear user state preservation, as can be done from Dashboard Builder. Thanks in advance for your consideration!
Currently we can only use User, Account, Global Context, and Device rules in the audience for a knowledge center bot. As we are looking at localizing our content for global markets this is a bit deal. We need to be able to target users based upon their Account Location (country). Simply using the User Language field is not adequate because you may have a user with their language set to en-US even though their account was sold in our Northern Europe market, so they should get the KBOT for Northern Europe (defined by countries) and not the North American KBOT.cc: @JPKelliher @Gainsight2022 @woodlande @wheelern @Lake1211 @jmobley @katkenny23
I propose to create a new feature in the CE tool that allows learners to share their insights, questions, and reflections on the material from the Academy.
Hi,This is just a minor UI issue, when typing in a company name into the filters in the Forecast section, and pressing the space bar to start a new word, the loading bar is spinning before letting you continue typing - and i have asked support as well and they asked to raise support ticket. Can someone please look into this enhancement?
We often see NPS responses that customers think they didn't get a response from us. It's true that we don't reply in every topic, but we do mark an answer and like it to show our face/presence. But still it is not clear to everyone that we're there and approve of that best answer. What can be done to make it more visible for users that it was an answer we marked? We thought about adding a stamp or watermark to the best answer, maybe as a background image. Or an option to add it via Control, in a simular way a reply can be Marked as Highlight; 'Mark as Approved' or something.I was looking for different fora to see examples of it, but it looks like it doen's exist (yet). I tried to mock up an example of a reply with a stamp on it, but my graphic skills are not there 🙂 It could also be related to this older idea: Though the TS sometimes marks it aswell, but then the Mark as Approved helps.
Other than a few webhooks, there’s nothing on Groups in the API docs.
(or whatever syntax you want to use)but I’m looking for a webhook for when an answered question has the best answer unmarked and the question is opened up again.
Our team is beginning to leverage milestones more often to capture key moments in the customer journey and visualize those against usage patterns. We have different milestones that we can automatically lay based on events that happen either within Gainsight or from Salesforce. However, there are different data points that we may want to capture based on the Milestone type for reporting purposes and visibility purposes. For example, we may wish to capture that a Training event took place and what type of training was it (onsite v. webinar) for a Training milestone vs a Upsell Opportunity created milestone which is going to capture different fields. Are there any plans to develop more granular activity types for milestones?
