The automation rule “Automatically close inactive topics” should also disable voting on an idea. This would make a more clear statement of the idea being in an inactive status.Note: this is partly related to this idea:
We have some external partners who have asked for the ability to manage their own custom pages in the community. We would like to give them access without them seeing the other community members’ information. Currently, user needs to be a moderator in order to customize a page. Also, this applies to the entire community and not just a particular custom page. We hope to have this functionality be available so that permissions were granular enough to only grant Customize mode to a single custom page rather than throughout the whole community. Thanks!
The title says it all: Ideas, Events and Product Updates should be excludable from "Automatically close inactive topics". ATM only categories and groups can be included or excluded from this rule.
Just had a request to update the text of an engagement. This is an existing engagement and the text needs to change on Friday morning before I get to the office. I have made the necessary edits in draft mode so it’s ready to go.It would be great if could publish the draft at a scheduled date/time, just like I can schedule an engagement to begin at a scheduled date/time.cc: @Gainsight2022 @woodlande @wheelern @Lake1211 @JPKelliher
Hi there, a nice-to-have would be the ability to use any User Profile Fields field {recipient_username} as placeholder/variable for System Emails or Rank/Badge Notification or Email Campaigns. We have Use Profile Fields such as “First Name” “Last Name” “City” “Country” etc,This way we could e.g. address people by First Name to make the messages feel more personal I’m sure there would be plenty of other usecases. Really not a must, just a nice-to-have! System Emails Badge / Rank-up Notification Email Campaigns
It would be more efficient if the system had rule-based assignments Gainsight CE. For instance, when a user joins, learning assignments could be automatically assigned to their profile based on predefined rules, and once the user's status is deactivated, the pending learning assignments should be removed automatically. Thanks

Currently, Gainsight Mobile App offers a limited set of features, including C360, Sally, Timeline, Dashboards, Calendar, and Notifications. While these are incredibly useful, there’s room to expand the app’s capabilities to better meet the needs of today’s dynamic professionals. One impactful addition would be the ability to Create and Edit CSQLs (Customer Success Qualified Leads) directly within the app. This enhancement would:• Empower users to adjust and refine CSQLs on the go.• Make the mobile app even more aligned with Gainsight’s commitment to agility and customer success. If you believe adding CSQL functionality to the Gainsight Mobile App would enhance your experience, please upvote 💙 to help prioritize this idea for development.
With the holiday slowdown, I’ve been cleaning up the Community and making it easier for members to find what they are looking for.I wanted to see which posts lacked a public tag but couldn’t see a filter for it like there is for moderation labels, and wanted to see if we could add the following option for public tags: If this has been suggested before, my apologies as I did try and check first!

I’m a Customer Success Manager at an EdTech SAAS company, and I work to support ~35 customers through utilizing the instructional delivery products they have with us. I’m trying to use Gainsight (with Salesforce) as my sole CS organization and tracking tool. However, I’m running into some repeated task types that make that difficult, and push me back into using spreadsheets.I would love to use CTAs to track repeated tasks across many customers where I could manually create the CTA and have it duplicated for each customer. Specifically, I'd love the ability to add multiple companies in the CTA create window, which would create the same CTA for each company selected. I'd also like a "Duplicate CTA" option in existing CTAs, that creates a new CTA that's exactly the same as the one being duplicated but allows me to update the company. An example use case for this is a new relevant law in a state, where I now need to touch base with my contacts at the 20 companies I support in that state. Creating 20 manual CTAs is tedious, especially where the details and tasks are the same for each company. There are many examples of these kinds of tasks that are repeated across companies but aren’t bulk tasks (like sending a single bulk email), and I need a CTA for each company.
Hello CSQL product managerWe are currently using the GS Opportunity object, attached as a Linked Object to CTAs. This allows us to capture timeline entries related to the CSQL.However, I really like the CSQL feature better and want to switch over. But I noticed you cannot add the GS Lead object into Linked Objects. Again, we want to allow for timeline activities to be attached to the CSQL, and CTA is a decent place for it.
The purpose of syncing the SFDC Activity to the Gainsight Timeline is so that CSMs have visibility into the most up to date communication with the customer. Currently the integration sync runs every 24 hours out of the box and can’t be adjusted. If the sync only runs every 24 hours CSMs don’t really have the most up to date view of the customer. Ideally, you could set up this sync like you do in Connectors 2.0 and schedule the frequency you’d like it to run. Less helpful would to have it run every 4 hours like the Gong integration does.
I would like to be able to track survey responses to the email. For programs with reminder emails, you can infer based on a recipient registering a response having received 1 or 2+ emails, but natively there’s no way to track it. My end goal being wanting to track conversion rate (survey response) between email 1 and 2 to measure the effectiveness of a reminder email. That’s not possible to do currently, at least not reliably, given that it’s an inference.
We have a lot of internal mobility, which means a CSM might be promoted, or move to a new role. When this happens, it’s common practice to shift around book of business of our CSMs. In this scenario, CSMs want to unfollow their old accounts, and follow the new accounts. We already have turned on the Notification Settings to auto subscribe CSMs for company updates. But there is no way for admins or CSMs to report on Companies a CSM currently follows, to more quickly identify who to Unfollow. The result is a CSM has to be reactive to Unfollow Companies as emails/notifications come through from their old book of business. This makes their notification centre/inbox clogged up with notifications that are irrelevant, and drives away focus from their current customers. Idea would be to: (1) Have ability to report on what Companies you are following (I understand this might be available in SFDC, but not NXT).(2) Have ability as an admin to Mass unfollow
I am posting this on behalf of customer (+ I want this feature as well).Currently we can search external attendees but would like to have ability to be able to multi-select from dropdown (based on company/relationship person info).Searching is good, but if there are many person, it would be easier for CSMs to select from a list.
Little late to the game but we’re just starting to build out a new home with the new UI, so far lots of positives about it however I have the following suggestions/requests; Summary Ribbon Would like to be able to choose which columns are shown when clicking on a OOB widget/report, e.g currently clicking on the number of accounts just shows a list of account names Would like to choose an icon to assign to custom reports, they all just show “KPI” which can be quite a loaded term, e.g. our CSM’s may think those items are things they are measured against Would like to turn off the option for users to export (admin level toggle) Portfolio Would like to rename the tabs, e.g we would rename “Actions” to Cockpit Would like the ability to split out Cockpit from Company portfolio (like it was in old UI) Would like Relationships to be a different tab to Customer, not a drop-down (and again rename to relfect how we use relationships) Would like to give the option for users to export (admin level toggle) Would like to be able to set a different column to sort by, and a different first column (specifically relationships, where I want Company name first) Would like to be merged with Scorecard Mass Edit, so we can show visual (ie coloured) scorecard measures/groups and also allow editing of manual measures (then we don’t need to use two widgets). Timeline + Calendar This widget is widely loved by CSMs, would like to be able to make it wider to take a larger presence on the page
Once a participant passes through a conditional wait with a calculated field, there’s no way to see what the value of that field was in order to validate that the calculated field is functioning as expected. Currently, you can only preview participants in an active state, but that doesn’t help if their values change at the completion of the timer.I have a program with two conditional waits referencing the same calculated field with the same conditions. Participants passed as expected through the first wait and did not pass through as expected in the second, yet I can’t troubleshoot the cause because I can’t see what value the system saw at the time they were evaluated.
