We have Product Area categories to have focused Discussions but not so for Ideas which stack all posts together without an ability to sort.Something like this for Ideas would be highly usefulCustomers as well as Feature PMs will greatly benefit from being able to filter Feature requests per Product Area.
With the rise of Digital Success becoming the way of the future, integrating with webinar platforms is becoming more important. Instead of having to export data from one system to load it into Gainsight and Journey Orchestrator, it would be more powerful to have an integration where the data flows on its own. This would allow organizations to:measure engagement with webinars set healthscores Trigger webinar invites based on health scores send follow up emails to those who registered and did/did not attend.
I just realized today that there is a discrepancy in the Renewal Date widget in the C360 vs. just bringing in the Renewal Date field itself from the Company object. The widget shows a format of Mar 29, 2024 and shows the number of days either past renewal or from renewal, but admins cannot set this widget as editable. If we want to make Renewal Date editable, we have to select it from the Company object, which means we lose the formatting of the widget - i.e. just 3/29/2024 and no small text that shows the days out from renewal. Why the difference in behavior here? Here’s a screenshot showing the difference.Date field on the left; widget on the right
When you have a horizon rule that creates a CTA, and you want to download the execution results for the Create CTA action, Company GSID is not included in the file (only Company Name). This makes it really frustrating when trying to cross-reference from your fetch results. This idea is to request that Company GSID be included in all “action” execution log downloads. For example, my dataset may have 100 records and the Create CTA action results in 90 records. If I want to investigate that discrepancy of 10 records, usually I compare the two datasets. However, I’m not able to do that easily in Horizon Rules because the action with the 90 records does not include Company GSID and only has Company Name. Company Name is not sufficient enough for troubleshooting needs, and Company GSID should always be included in Action execution result exports.
I was struggling with a rule where the CSV column names didn’t match the names I was setting in the rule (export to S3 enabled) and the response I got from support was that it was intended behaviour adn to submit and idea, so here I am:FieldAlias is created only once when we save the field for the first time, and if the display name is changed after that, it won't change the field alias again. It's very common practice to build rules in phases, test, adjust, and once all is working as expected do the final changes, such as field naming (“Display Name”). If you were to troubleshoot something in the future, basically you have to guess which column in the exported CSV you are looking at if at any point in time the Display Name was updated. Please, can you consider respecting the current "Display Name” as Column Header when exporting to CSV? Currently the only “workaround” is to either delete and re-add with new names before saving, or add a transform to rename and export from there.
Our team is only starting to use Milestones, as such there are not many to display in the Customer Journey widget. Currently it is only possible to see a few months at a time. It would be great if we could configure the amount of time shown in the widget to give us the ability to “zoom out” or “zoom in” as needed to show more or less milestones/events.
If possible, we would like quick navigation to previous years to see milestones in the past. Currently you can only skip by months and it is quite tedious to click backwards for more tenured customers.
It would be great if we could allow for more than just the Milestones timeline type to the widget. It’s a really cool and powerful widget that is a little to gated Reason for this is our team is already set in a process to record SBRs to a timeline type specifically for those. Since the widget is only limited to Milestones, they will not show without us having to change our process which frankly is not worth it. Ideally, I would like to see a field that is simple boolean that a CSM can check in addition to the configuration we would set as the admin. This would also help in a general sense for account transitions bc then a new CSM could focus on the timeline entries flagged as most important by prior CSMs
Hi all, related to this Idea I just posted, I’ve noticed today that it’s not possible to display Company fields on the “Relationship” section of a CTA layout. This surprises me since everywhere else in the platform, the relationship looks up to the company and as the “smaller entity” it can look back up to the upstream chain… company, parent company, grandparent company etc. While there’s certainly a Company Tab, I - in some circumstances - want to display fields from the company layer in a relationship environment.Example :I want to review a new customer to assign them. I have a CTA at the relationship level because we’re multi-product line.At the relationship level, I set a CSM, an engagement model and cadence, a stage which are specific to the product, and not necessarily the same as CSMs on the other products. At the company level, I want to set or review a segment. The segment for us is a company / customer account matter and it remains at the company level. But, either I need to set it as I review a relationship which is first of its name OR I want to review it because the customer has expanded and they probably have changed segments. My ask: And as such it would make sense for me to be able to display the segment alongside Relationship fields, because it belongs to my assignment review. And because the relationship influences it, and equally the segment while defining the company does somewhat pertain to the relationship.TLDR;Consistent with everywhere else on the platform, CTA available fields should display upstream lookups (so company fields from relationship layer) Thanks!A
Currently a super admin has no control over timeline entries, only the creator of the timeline entry has the ability to edit. This presents a big problem if the timeline entry is erroneous or forward looking (expecting of future edits) and the CSM originator of the entry leaves the company or is otherwise unable/unwilling to edit the entry. The timeline entries can be super helpful for reporting purposes, but to maintain accuracy of reports there needs to be the ability to edit these entries (by a super admin, or at least re-assigned to current CSM).
I want to be able to convert a custom field data type from String to Dropdown. Our use case is that as our business has matured, we have been able to standardize ways we are tagging a customer. So what previously was free form, and semi-standardized, can be put into a dropdown. This is especially needed for users to be able to select multiple values in a Dashboard or report filters.A driver for my business is that we are integrated with Salesforce, and in Salesforce the Admins have this functionality (Text to Picklist): https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.fields_converting_field_to_picklist.htm&type=5. I want to be able to match this ease to convert!Without this functionality, I instead need to create a new field, and update any reports, JO’s, Dashboard filters, DD’s, etc. to use the new Dropdown field. In my case right now, this will take probably 3 - 5 hours!
Is nested/secondary grouping within reports on the roadmap anywhere? It would be really great if we could group tabular reports at more than one level, similar to how Salesforce reporting works:
The current create page on “Objective” is not as customizable as it should intuitively be. There are fields that you cannot remove (“Success Criteria”) and anything that you add to the layout custom is hidden under “more details” section that is automatically closedSuccess Criteria should not a universal field that an admin cannot remove. For example, we have added more specific fields for start, target, and end value that are much better for reporting than a long text field If you rename Success Criteria in the layout, it should reflect on the create page as well. We updated to “Steps for Success” for to be more clear, but that only displays upon saving not when creating Added fields should not automatically hidden in a separate section. This makes it seem like they do not need to be populated, but they do.Initial Create View:Create View with Details expanded:View after saving:
I was told from Support that this is an enhancement request, and not a bug. When you build a report with a field value that requires wrapping due to length, it appears misaligned with the other field labels on the report. See the screenshot below, where I have a table of Names on the Y axis. The individual with the longer name that requires wrapping (due to the size of the chart on the dashboard) causes the name to be pushed to the left, misaligned from the other names. This should be rectified so all fields on the same axis are aligned together.
Hi.I am seeing some differences between Report and Data Designer. Which is, while creating the report using MDA Call To Action Object and in Filters if I used and Status or Type Fields it is showing up as Picklist, where as the same object in Data Designer creation the same fields are not working as Picklist.Screenshots Using Report Builder: Screenshot using Data Designer: Just want to know is this expected behaviour or am I miss something. If that is the expected behaviour, please provide us the option to choose the values from the picklist(Like shown in Report) instead of we giving values.Thanks.
HiIs it possible to improve the parity between these features? In Data Designer, when comparing two date fields, you can apply the following:equals (same in reports) not equal to (called “not equals” in reports) greater or equal greater than less or equal less thanBesides the slight difference in language, why the last four are missing? Yes, we can workaround this using a formula field and a filter, but this works only at the report level and would be much more efficient to have the same filer capability as DD. Date filters disparity between Data Designer and Report BuilderFound other ideas around the same topic, but as dates weren’t specifically called out, figured I’ll submit this one.Thank you
We’ve received feedback from users that they’re seeing too many popups (automated engagements). We are evaluating the number of automated engagements we have running that a user would qualify for, of course, but I wondered about an “opt out” option.Recently a “skip tour” option was added so the user can view the engagement at a later time. Could we also add an “opt out of guides” for users that only want to search for content on their own in the Knowledge Center Bot?As I was typing that, I realized that we’d also probably need the ability to override the opt out selection for system outage or other urgent alerts, but users would be able to say they don’t want any automated training guides popping up to them.
When I am exploring the audience in Audience Explorer and then navigate to a user’s Full Profile to review the Recent Activity, the environment should be maintained in that if I am looking at Production, I only want to see Production Recent Activity, with a dropdown option to change between environments. Currently there isn’t a great way to distinguish recent activity between environments unless it’s a PageView and you know the URL.
Posting this on behalf of Customer who requested to consider a couple of changes on user friendliness.Until lately it was possible to confirm changes with the Enter button on the keyboard. Now it is not possible anymore. Can you please go back to allowing this option, as it saves pointless wasted time during the day.Secondly, I wanted to give a feedback on the search function: it only searches for the deal name, but sometimes the dealname is unknown to the user and we need to search for client names, email addresses or other information like a phone number. All of this not possible in GS, which to me sounds like a basic need. All your competitors allow all of those search functions, like Hubspot and Salesforce. Please consider developing this in the future and please, please, please bring back user friendly functions like a functioning enter button. As I am using GS for 8 hours a day, this is really inconvenient.
