We are loving the look of Horizon Analytics but we’ve found that rearranging reports in dashboards can be excessively difficult.Moving a report or widget to a different position in the dashboard frequently causes the rest of the reports to scatter in all directions. This leads to a lot of wasted time rearranging reports piece by piece. Depending on the number of reports, it’s sometimes quicker to just rebuild from scratch. It would be great if the UI was a bit more responsive when editing dashboards.
We use BCC to timeline for most emails and frequently get back errors that the emails cannot be logged due to being over 32,000 characters. This is common and routine in business, where threads can build up. If the 32,000 character limit is firm, instead of returning an error and then having to manually go in and log the first part of the email, I’d like it if Gainsight could automatically log the email and just truncate anything in excess of the 32,000 characters. The important part of the log is the more recent portion of the thread anyway, and this would save a lot of time.
I wish there was an API operation that could change the setting on this content helpfulness visibility settings in Control Similar to the operations for toggling sticky state or changing a public label. Use Case: Scheduling articles to publish in advance, but wanting to adjust away from the default setting based on criteria. I’m able to do a Zapier automation based on when it publishes that 1.) updates the moderator tag, 2.) changes the public label, but I cannot add 3.) disable the content helpfulness
Currently, it is possible to customize the opt-out pages for email templates ad documented here. However, it seems that the blue color scheme in the page (top bar, submit button - see screenshot) is not editable. Is this something that can be changed? Thanks!
When multiple stakeholders are on the same meeting, it can be a waste of time and typing for multiple people to take notes or a challenge to know who is responsible for taking notes. With a Collaborative Timeline, Gainsight could allow the workload to be shared and for non-presenting team members to take notes and then pass the ball all in realtime. This would make Gainsight timeline THE PLACE to log customer activity even more than it is today. See mock up video: https://www.loom.com/share/bb6c0ae70a794a58937e1ddaa503488e
It would be nice to be able to export the list of contacts in C360 > People. We could then confirm with the decision maker of the company that the full list of contacts is correct and up to date by emailing them with the list attached.
I have created a data designer dataset on Success Plans with 3 date fields: Plan Last Modified Date, Associated CTA last Modified Date, and Timeline Last Activity Date. I need to compare between the 3 fields to find the MAX date of the three columns. The idea is that this is the true “last modification” date of the plan, as we consider modifying a CTA or Timeline to also be working a plan. Has anyone had success comparing dates between columns? I have the max date within the column itself figured, now need to compare between the 3
Right now we have “pod” meetings where we have an internal call and discuss many accounts in the same call. When we go to log the activity to the timeline we would like to have the ability to associate to all account records discussed so the system does not create multiple activities and inflate the work being done by our team. As of now we can only associate 10 account records and this is causing us to copy and paste and create multiple duplicate timeline records
Hi team, it would be absolutely amazing if we could create and edit tags within Gainsight NXT. It wasn’t immediately clear to us during the initial implementation that tags were a Salesforce-only feature. We understand that it’s possible to define criteria according to Rules Engine, but tags are a more end-user friendly way to segment and identify customers and their behaviours.
We would like to see a live chat feature added to the Knowledge Bot so that users can get assistance within the application without the need to use an additional plugin or have 2 bots running side by side in the application.
Right now we support only 6 objects for token mappings, Account, Contact, CustomerInfo, CSTask, CTA and User. Are there plans in the future to be able to add custom tokens from the opportunity field for example? If I link the oppty to the CTA or figure out how to write these fields onto the CTA, could that allow me to pull these fields into the template?
It would be helpful to add the ability to update the due dates of the dependent tasks once the main/parent task due date is changed or moved over and also to allow see the baseline in Gantt chart view to allow see how the project is doing (internal and external visibility available)
About to launch a process using Success Plans to the team, where the Success Plans are created via the rules engine. It would be great to be able to fill the Description field on Success Plans through the rules engine, especially since you can't remove that field from the UI. Doesn't seem possible to do so, unless I'm missing something. Thanks!
With the new release I have to say I am not loving the available colour options for the CTA types, reasons, status’s etc please can we choose our own custom ones.... Also FYI they don’t appear to be very accessible, the contrast between background (white) and some of the colours is very small. And with limited options to choose from its hard to not end up with at least 1 of them in our list.
I would love the ability to toggle between csv or xlsx format for my data downloads. For example, if pulling a report from GS to re-import via CSV as participants in a program, downloading a report as a csv would be much more useful than as xlsx.
I thought the capability already existed, but it appears updating a CTA will only apply a playbook if there was not already a playbook attached. I've never had a situation arise, until now, where I needed this capability - but I can see a greater need for it down the road. Is there any reason why this functionality shouldn't be possible? If not, I would like to request that it get added, because there's definitely a solid use case for it. If I've missed something, and there IS a way to update playbooks on existing CTAs (without deleting/readding) then please let me know that as well.
I do the same exact mass edit multiple times a week (close CTAs for reps who have left the company). It would be great if I could have a drop down template to show the mass edit criteria i specify. I tried to create a rule to close CTAs for inactive reps but since the CTAs all have different Types and Reasons it does not work.
We would like to use the Feedback feature in the KC unified tab layout. It would be great if the user could click “Feedback” and the Feedback form shows as a second page like the image belowPlease let me know if this will be possible. We would like to collect feedback after implementation, which is happening soon.
It would be great to have ability to create a formula field for the DateTime of the Rule Run rather than just the Date. We have struggled with optimizing some of our update rules so that pull data from the last rule run rather than a full day. By allowing this field type in formula, we would be able to create a field in transform to log to a custom object that could be run against the next time the rule runs
There’s a user setting for where to log an email from GS Assist plug-in. As an org, we want our emails logging to Company, not to Relationship. However the default setting is for Relationship. There’s no way for us to change this from an Admin level, and instead need to instruct all users and any new users to configure their own settings in this way. Please give admins the ability to set the default as Log Emails to Company.
Right now, the Customer Goals is not in the left hand global navigation so a CSM cannot see their entire book of business in one spot. It would be ideal to have this in order to push adoption of the feature, which is much simpler way of tracking than trying to use Success Plans and Objectives
It is currently not possible to sync a multi-picklist field from Zendesk into Gainsight via the Zendesk integration. Our support team sometimes uses multi-picklists for categorizing tickets so it would be helpful to have this functionality for reporting and visibility.
