One of my Gainsight users pointed out that the Google Calendar widget on GS Home will jump back several weeks in time rather abruptly if you scroll too quickly back in time. L1 and L2 Gainsight support have confirmed that they’re able to replicate the behavior on their side from our environment. It would be great if the widget was enhanced so that scrolling quickly simply scrolled faster and did not jump back in time. Seems like a relatively small change, but it would greatly impact the user experience and adoption of this feature at my company (and I’m sure others!) Thank you 😁
Would it be possible to add the CAST function to transformation tasks in Bionic Rules? Example: Customer has a CSAT in SFDC but is stored as a String rather than Number. In order to calculate anything off of this, I have to load to the MDA using 10 Actions in a Rule since I cannot load a String to a Number field in the MDA. I would like to be able to convert these to numbers in a Transformation task. Thoughts?
My customer recently came up with a use case for editing a CTA within the Rules Engine that I'd like to share. Right now, we can either create or close a CTA from the Rules Engine. What my customer would like to do is change a CTA's status, priority, etc. based on criteria. Example: For a medium-priority CTA that was fired off due to a drop in usage, the customer would like the ability to up that CTA's priority from medium to high for any CTA that fits the associated type and reason if the usage falls even further after the original CTA is fired off. This kind of example doesn't really fit our current Mass Edit functionality and isn't currently able to be automated from within the Rules Engine. Happy to go into more detail if needed. Thanks!
PX has some great features for driving adoption: in-product engagement, usage analytics, in-app surveys, and more. Is it possible to use PX to drive CSM and Viewer license adoption? When driving CS user adoption, it would be incredibly helpful if Gainsight provided an in-app experience for engaging and driving end-user adoption. You know the benefits of PX better than I and it seems like this would be incredibly helpful for driving Nxt adoption.
There are limitations to what you can do exporting data to cyberduck such as free text fields breaking csv’s if there are commas, it would be nice if we just had access to export any object and pick the fields within the object we want. This could be achieved by having an API that we could use to pull data from. Specifically we want to pull data out of GS and into Snowflake but an API would be a broad way to solve this request.
At the moment you can only create CTA's manually on the account page or through rules engine but it might be a cool idea in the future to have the ability to create CTA's based off a CSV as long as it has a valid Account ID in the CSV.
Hi folks, I’ve been asked for this capability weekly by our product and design teams for what seems like months now. I don’t understand why PX can track browser type, but you don’t bother to track screen resolution, browser frame size, device type, nor OS while you’re at it. Imagine how nice it would be to limit visibility of a guide or dialogue to someone who has their window size too small or is on a particular device? Or the ability to adjust guides based on resolution? Not to mention being able to report on what your user base has for set up so we can better design our products. We don’t want to install (yet another) product to track just this. Please help!
Currently, all tasks added to a Timeline Activity are combined under one CTA. When discussing multiple topics in a customer meeting, for example, it would be useful to be able to create multiple CTAs directly from the meeting notes in the Timeline Activity.
The new C360 has a CREATE button that allows you to ‘create’ a Timeline Activity, CTA, CSQL Lead, or a Product Request (with the upcoming ProductBoard integration).I want to add the option to ‘create’ an email, which would open up Email Assist 2.0 and allow me to either draft a new email or select an email template to send. It would also allow me to take advantage of the open and click through rates information possible with Email Assist. I often have to jump out of Gainsight into my Gmail to send an email off to my customer based on information I am sharing from within Gainsight. So I’ll juggle having different windows open on different monitors. It would be much easier if I could pop open an new email within Gainsight, select a template and send it off.
I just ran into an issue where I have used the same Dropdown List for two different fields on two different objects, not knowing that the Dropdown Dependency was going to make the Controller field uneditable from C360 unless I also included the two children on the attributes layout as well. Use Case:I have a Company field called Client Status that I need to be editable from C360.I also have a Timeline field called Client Status that I need to be editable from Timeline. Both of these currently use the same dropdown list because they require the same values. On Timeline, I need for two additional fields (Client Status Reason and Client Status Subreason) whose dropdown lists I need to pre-populate with specific values depending on the value of Client Status, so I created Dependency Mapping as follows: The Timeline path works just fine/as expected. When I add ONLY the Company::Client Status field (the Controller) to a C360 Attributes section nets me this result when I try to make it editable. If I create fields and add the two dependency children dropdowns (Client Status Reason and Client Status Subreason) and make them both editable on C360, then I can make Client Status editable. But I don’t want/need Company fields for those two child fields - I only need them on Timeline.QUESTION #1: Why does the dependency seem to work backwards? Why can’t I edit a Controller field from C360, irrespective of the two dependent children? Then to make issues even weirder…When I add ONLY the Timeline::Client Status field (the Controller) to a Timeline Activity - I have no such blocker on editing it! QUESTION #2: Why is it ok to edit this on the Timeline record irrespective of the two dependent children but not the C360? I would chalk this up to a lesson learned - don’t use the same dropdown list across more than one field… but the lack of cohesive functionality here is just plain odd. I hope this is addressed in the new Horizon C360… otherwise, please make this make sense! Also, I cannot even delete dependencies to undo this mess!!
Hi Team, Is there are any plans to have the functionality to update scorecard timeline via Sally or the mobile app? Thanks ~Shiv
There may already be a post out there somewhere but I cannot find it.The ability to create a CTA through Sally is useful, but it would be even more useful ifA) users could select a Reason while creating through Sally (otherwise every CTA ends up logging with the same reason code, and users forget to go manually change it) B) if admins could establish required fields that also need to be completed.
Our CS team loves using Sally in Slack, as both Gainsight and Slack are primary tools for them. One enhancement that would make Sally even better would be the ability to create Tasks when submitting both Timeline activities and CTAs in Slack.Currently, the team must log in to Gainsight and edit their Timeline/CTA entry to add Tasks if there are ‘to do’ items for that activities. It would be great if this could be done directly in Slack as an optional step.
Another super minor tweak that I think would make daily life for admins easier: add the “next scheduled run” date and time to the Connector 2.0 Jobs page in the same way that it’s shown in the Rules engine. I don’t feel like I need to make a fake mock-up in paint for this one since it’s already part of the platform in another area.
It’s a frustrating and time consuming experience when Test/Preview email sends don’t deliver while trying to validate a program. Sometimes they come through instantly, sometimes it takes 5, 20, 60+ minutes. I understand the delay may be on our internal mail server, but that’s not always the case. In one example, I sent two previews to myself with a recipient email address populated, I’ve yet to receive those. I changed the To address to my own, and received them within about 10 minutes. It would be good to be able to view a log of these attempts to determine if it’s something I need to raise an internal ticket to investigate or a Gainsight support ticket as it is expected that emails will always deliver.
Hi, It would be great if there will be an ability to sort a Group By Report manual instead of the current options to sort only ASC and DESC for a field ThanksSwen
Make the default My CTAs view on the Cockpit editable by an administrator. I would like to add the Next Action Due Date field as a column to the My CTAs view for all users, but cannot edit that default view in administration. Since the Due Date shows only the due date for the CTA, the CSM cannot readily see when Tasks under the CTA are due without opening each CTA. Tasks are often due before the CTA itself.
In a survey with a matrix question, you can only add a display logic to the main question. We also would like to have the ability to control the display of the sub-questions. Is there a plan to apply a display logic to sub-questions using the different display types? An enhancement of this type would provide great value in survey design.
It would be great if Gainsight Support would post something on the main portal when Gainsight has a holiday that does not align to standard holiday calendar.Enterprise customers apparently get notified by their CSMs that GS is going to be closed and support will be slow to respond...but when you’re not an Enterprise customer, like me, you get left wondering.
Do we have it in roadmap to allow customized PPT export from Dashboards? My customers are asking for an option to customize the PPT exported from Dashboards. Currently, they are exporting the dashboard and manully editing it before sending it over to the users. The request is to reduce this manual effort by providing an option to upload their customized PPT and export the dashboard to it. We have suggested to use success snapshots 2.0 but there is no scheduling option in success snapshots 2.0 which defeats the purpose.
It would be nice to have a date filter with in the rules engine that will enable me to filter like the filters in the report builder. ie current year, last year and this year etc to compliment the ones that are already there. I am trying to set up a CTA but only for data emantaing from a Current Quarter
