It’s great that the new dashboards allow the widgets to be maximised to take over the screen, but please can this be extended to the pop-out reports when clicking on a widget, as the resulting table can often be too small to be useful (on a laptop screen particularly). Also being able to freeze the first column on these too.
If you’re on the analyze tab of renewal center, and you click on a widget report to drill down, you’re taken to a detailed view on the right hand side of the screen with some columns and the rest of the screen is greyed out. What I don’t understand is why this is maybe 1/3 at most of the usable screen area. If I add one or two extra columns from the default, I have to scroll left and right, and some of the columns are super narrow. Seeing the background doesn’t do me any good, because if the widget you clicked on is on the right side of the screen that gets totally covered anyways.I would like this to either just take up more of the screen, allow me as an admin to set a default width, or at the very least allow you to drag the drill down and make it wider if needed. I didn’t include a full screen shot as I didn’t want to take time to hide all the data, but LOOK AT ALL THAT UNUSED SPACE! Is this a drill down for ants? For real though, help me make this make sense. I know you can scroll side to side but end users don’t like this, and the other space doesn’t seem to be functionally used so can we leverage it please?
Hi, One of our customers wants to deactivate relationship feature from their gainsight. Also they want to remove all references of relationship from the UI. For example: In C360-->People there is a relationship section.(Which is confusing the CSMs) Link for the screenshot : https://share.getcloudapp.com/p9uK59rB Pleases share your thoughts on this.
While Rank is available in the User exports and API…It’d be good to have Rank as a filter in Control > User Overview like there is with Badges, Comments, and Role. Use Case: View users with X rank and then take an action on their profile in ControlSend private message Award a special badge Assign a custom role
I was surprised to see that you can only change the domain when creating alternate email addresses for Email Assist. I don't really understand how this solves anyone's use case? What I want to be able to do is use a generic email address like csm@gainsight.com, but no matter what domain I configure, I'm stuck with the email still using everything left of the @ sign of my own email address. So it shows up like "sengel@csm@gainsight.com." Even if I changed it to sengel@csm.gainsight.com, it doesn't serve my use case at all. I want the email to show as a generic email address.
Currently, a CTA must be linked to an account. However, there are certain use cases where it would be nice to have a CTA for CSMs that are not account specific - e.g. internal activities. A sample use case is a CTA/Playbook for New Hires. Current workaround is to create an "Internal Account" where these types of CTAs can be assigned to, but it would be nice to have another more fluid option.
Follow up to this idea: =18948887#reply_18948887]https://community.gainsight.com/gainsight/topics/the-ability-to-change-the-from-email-address-when-u...Looking for the ability to customize specifically the "from email" and "from name" in the email assist tool for our pooled account management program not just the send domain. We can control this in gmail using the from dropdown (see screenshot) and in JO via the standard form: Use-case 1 -- Advisors (scaled CSMs) have consultation with a customer. They create a CTA and apply the post-consultation playbook which includes an email with a post-consultation materials. Using the above advisor as an example - the email should come from Sumat Lam "cateam@box.com". That way if the customer responds to the email, it is pushed back into the ticketing pool.Use-case 2 (per Lane H.) -- Coverage while a CSM is OOO (maternity / paternity leave)I do agree --- exposing this to everyone can be risky. Controls would need to be put in place to validate senders to specific email addresses.Ideas around access: Designate a set of 'approved list of send from email addresses'. A CSM wouldn't be able to put anyone's email address in, but could choose from a list of available options. That way an email address could be exposed for a certain time -- like maternity/paternity leave, but then removed once the mom/dad returns. Permissions to 'approved send from lists' could be controlled by User, Role, and/or Profile.I think a combination of the above would be perfect to protect against risk.
I'm posting this on behalf of a customer, who would like to be able to configure the CTA list view to remove health score. This would be a product enhancement to Cockpit Configuration. Specifically, in the List view field configuration, show Customer::GS Health Score as a Selected field, so that it can be removed.
Hi,Our team needs the ability to see when Sponsor Tracking has been envoked but no link could occur because the user has privacy settings (comes with a Premium account) turned on. Right now, our CSMs are not presented with any on-screen messaging when this happens so they can’t tell which contacts are truly pending. You need to display better statuses--maybe Pending, Private, Current--something like that. We also need a way to report on this kind of data condition so we can exclude these contacts from our Sponsor Tracking reporting (they should not be included as part of our overall counts.) With a better set of statuses, I believe we can accomplish our goals.
Currently, in order to enable or disable Sally for a Slack user, you have go to User Management and change the dropdown from All Users to Slack > name of Workspace > then select user and click on the three dots and choose disable or enable. It would be easier to have an option within the User record to allow Sally access for Slack enabled users similar to how License Type or Permission bundle can be modified. This is far fewer clicks when updating just a handful of users to enable/disable Sally.
Hi Team, Currently, we won't be able to use the CTA Object in mass edit to change the owner of the objective as an auto-added filter is in place. Customer would like to be able to reassign the assignee. I know it is not on near term roadmap. But can we priortize it? Customer has to do lot of manual efforts to change each assignee. Best,Hardik
https://api2-eu-west-1.insided.com/user/email/Will return an error when an unknown email is used, which would be fine but with Zapier this turns the Zap off, making it un-usable for a recurring automation/ integration.Could it simply return a message “Email not found” instead, so as to prevent next steps from happening?
Need the ability to select more than just the email address as the upsert key on the the Company Person connector job. Probably works great if you have clean upstream Contact data, but unfortunately we don’t and it’s out of CS control at this point. Getting a lot of “duplicate” failures in the sync job because, yes, we have duplicate contacts on SFDC records. But because of these duplicate failures, the “wrong” contacts are getting synced to Company Person causing discrepancies.I believe there are other admins out there with a similar need, for various use cases.Should be up to the Admin to select the Upsert Key/Key Combination for their particular environment.
Working with many rules and building many datasets is the life of an Admin. Many times we have users ask for reporting on similar datasets. Wouldn’t it be COOL if you could automatically generate a Data Designer Model DIRECTLY from a RULE setup OR Journey Orchestrator source queries.Who’s with me????
Posting on Behalf of customer. Would love to see an API to modify the Engagement Audience just like how we have API’s for pulling the Engagements MetaData, to change the status of the engagement and change the environment.
Hi,We are using Moderator Tags for Ideas. However, as Ideas are now exported through their own export, and no longer exist in the Post/Topic export, they have become useless to us. We would love for them to be added to the ideation export. Thanks, ilan
When syncing picklist values to GS via the SFDC connector it matches based on the SF API Name instead of Value, this means if values are re-labelled in SFDC and we want to show the same update in GS the sync no longer works. E.g. here the M&A option has it’s value been changed to Media & EntertainmentSo we’ve updated the name in GS too; But now any attempting at syncing fails for records with these values;
The current default for the activity types that are created by the google calendar integration on the home page is “Meeting”. Unfortunately, that is an inactive activity type for us and not one we want to use. We would like the default to be one we have called “External Meeting”. We would like a configuration to determine what the default should be. Even better would be have filters to define what the default should be. For example, if all the attendees have an internal domain email, then make the default “Internal Meeting”. If any have an external domain, then make it “External Meeting”.
It would be nice if the attendees that were capture for the activity were only the ones that accepted the meeting invite. We noticed that it will include all attendees regardless if they plan to attend or not. For example, we had one meeting with 20 external attendees that were invited, but maybe only 10 accepted. The CSM had to manually identify and remove the attendees that didn't accept the meeting.
Currently, the google calendar integration is showing meetings that I have declined. There is no reason I can think of to show these. I would never add an activity for a meeting I never attended. Think these should just be filtered out or have a configuration setting to turn this on or off.
Hi Team,As per current product setup and support article: https://support.gainsight.com/Gainsight_NXT/Connectors_(Horizon_Experience)/Sightline_Integrations/DB_Based_Connectors/Snowflake_Connector, Gainsight does not support fetching TIMESTAMP_NTZ data type from Snowflake (Attached screenshot from support article). We have a use case where we are looking to import a field from Snowflake with the Datatype of Timestamp_NTZ. Can we please consider this? Also, please let us know if we have any workarounds until this gets implemented
Hello, Some of our top users received thousand of private messages and would like to be able to clear & sort them. What do you think about improving mailbox parameters ? 💡 I understand it's not a pain point for inSided since only a few users need this feature. But do you have at least some advices I could give to them ? How do the top users can deal with those bunch of messages ? Thank you !
