Posting on behalf of a PX customer: They want the ability to send bookmarked and saved reports to other CSMs (PX users). It’s cumbersome to have to let them know to sign into PX and do this themselves in their own settings. It would be much more efficient to enable this on their behalf vs. them logging into PX and enabling this themselves.
With the embeddable widget(s), users are accessing community … just by a different method. Many of the content, audience, and self-service metrics are apply. However, this answer indicates that these metrics are not included in community analytics. Business impact: This is counter-intuitive to the value of an in-platform or in-website embeddable widget: increasing community engagement and self-service by bringing community to the user. Thus, the more embeddable widget is used, the higher engagement and self-service value from community. But that wouldn’t be reflected in the important community metrics. Some low hanging fruit opportunities: Content Content Helpfulness Audience Visitors Page Views Self-service Unique visitors who viewed help content Self-service score/ratio (view incorporating into the above)
When we assign a moderator to a topic/post, we’d like the system to trigger an email notification to the user. This would be helpful because some of our moderators are product managers and they don’t necessarily login to the control area on a daily basis.
When modifying the layout for a Success Plan type, the fields available from Company, Success Plan, etc. on the left area aren’t in an alphabetical order which makes it harder to find fields to add to the layout
We are very interested in the ability to customize the RSVP button in events. turn off the RSVP button have the ability to change the action of the button, i.e. add a link to an external webinar host for registration We utilize Livestorm for live webinars and currently, when we post those on the events calendar and a user RSVP’s, they are not registered for the Livestorm event and don’t receive the access URL. In order to get around this, we have to register them manually, which is highly inefficient. Cheers! Megan
Can we get new objects/fields with out resaving the connection in snowflake. Currently we know that it’s limitation. But it could be great to have this feature
I have a customer that would like the ability to set up reminders to be triggered in Gainsight (CTAs perhaps) from emails that are sent from their email provider. Use Case: Many CSMs track their To Do items in Gainsight tasks, and utilize Cockpit as a place to monitor the activities they need to execute that day. In our role, we also must stay on top of email communications, which includes following up on emails that go unanswered. It would be great if there was an option within the upcoming email integration feature that would allow users to mark in the email if they would like a reminder to be sent to Gainsight after XXX days (user could perhaps choose?). Thinking of this sort of like the Reminders you can set for yourself in Yesware on certain emails. This would allow users to continue to have one source of truth for their To Do items in Cockpit without having to manually create a task for following up.
Submitting on behalf of our customer… Since the Gainsight aggregated default reports contains daily data, how to get data for the days when the integration was down/broken? How do we get historical data? Our S3 integration was in Down for 3 days due to AWS keys issue and the only way I was able to find out that by manually checking files on S3 and/or Gainsight Admin console. It would be great if PX provided the ability to execute missed/historic runs with PX Amazon S3 Integration. Also, if PX knows that the integration was down/broken then it would be great if it would automatically process and export the missing days once.
Submitting on behalf of our customer… The only way to know if the PX Amazon S3 Integration export jobs were successful is to review the status of the AWS_S3_PUSH job in the PX Admin Console. It would be much preferred if we could get notified in case of failure in exporting Gainsight reports to the S3 via email/MS Teams and/or hook it up with PagerDuty.
Submitting on behalf of another amazing PX customer… Currently, the daily exported files include the main PX Tag Key and Environment name, but not the Channel name like “webapp”, “mobile”, or “desktop”. See below:
Hi everyone, When checking the performance of guide engagements, we feel that it would be more useful to be able to observe the data as a funnel (on user level). In the current setup, we are able to see the total number of times each step was viewed and the “completion rate” is then calculated based on those numbers. In example:let’s imagine that 10 users started the guide and only 1 of them completed it (saw the last step of the guide) and let’s imagine that the mentioned user completed the guide 10 times (while the other 9 users started the guide only once and never completed it)With the current setup, the “completion rate” of this guide would be calculated as:(10 times completed)/(19 times started)=52,63%And the question is - when estimating the performance, usefulness or design of a guide, are we more interested in this information or in the information about the share of users who started and managed to complete the guide (1/10=10% in the above example).
Currently, in HA, dashboards are arranged in an end-user’s view based on the Sharing Group(s) that have been given permission to view/edit etc. This means that if someone is in two groups then they will see the dashboard under both sections.E.g.It also means we have to be careful with how we name our sharing groups as the names become end-user visible and might end up confusing further. For example we have a “Partners” dashboard, which is actually useable by 4 or 5 groups, and for Pre-Sale’s they have the header pre-sales, then dashboard name Partners. Which just doesn’t make any sense. What would be preferable is to arrange the dashboards by the folders they are in instead, and keep the group names for us in the back-end.
Is there an option with the scorecard history data set in scorecards 2.0 to show the Label instead of a numeric score? We use A-F labels so the scores themselves really don’t mean much to our CS team. Ultimately, I’m trying to build a rule that exports our scorecard data to our data warehouse so that others in the company can use the data outside of Gainsight, but how it is stored right now I’m not seeing a helpful format to do so.
In my opinion, badges are a great way to show appreciation to the quality and added value of the content community users are providing. It is easy for anybody to post a lot on a community (like complaining about their own issues); but the most value doesn’t come from the pure quantity (like number of topics or number of comments), it comes from the (perceived) quality of the content. The quality is measured in the feedback or reactions any piece of content gets. Also, added value can be measured in different ways, like the interaction with all the content (like discussions, events, groups). For example: Right now I can’t distinguish between users who post a lot of questions and users who start conversations. But both content types target different community strategies / pillars. So, because currently the rules are pretty limited regarding automatic badges, I want to list some examples of rules that I really think would be a great addition to the current badges:award users who receive a lot of likes (quality factor) award users who vote on a lot of ideas (feedback and engagement factor) award users who receive a lot of votes on ideas (quality factor) award users who create a lot of discussions (engagement factor / non-service user generated content) award users who have logged in a lot of times (engagement factor / monthly active users, daily active users) award users who have logged in a number of days in a row (engagement factor / daily active users) award users who have filled out their full profile (engagement factor) award users who have shared a lot of community content via the social sharing widget (reach factor) award users who RSVP to a lot of events (engagement factor) award users who have been active in a lot of user groups (feedback, quality and engagement factor) award users who vote in a lot of polls (feedback and engagement factor)
Hello dear product team and community,Currently the plug-in can find the customer only if the name is given 100% identically as in Salesforce.Desired: search field able to identify the user by 3+ letters. Thank you.Daria Sagdeeva,Sr. Customer Success Manager at Veeam
A few times recently, I’ve written rules that are meant to update fields on an object that may or may not have changed. In the interest of avoiding unnecessary writes, I’ve used a case statement to compare the existing and “new” value for those fields and only flag records where the two are different. This is usually a 2-3 task job, on top of my original logic. It would be amazing if “Load To” type Rule Actions came with a checkbox on fields for “Only update if different” or something to that extent, to help further automate that kind of behavior.
Our users have often requested the ability to have a view into their TASKS only via the Cockpit. It is presently observed that the CTA Name field is mandatory and therefore will not allow for a custom VIEW of only tasks to be created. Could it please be possible to allow for a Custom Admin VIEW to be deployed for this?? We’ve used a “work-around” by adding the “Next Task Due Date” column to the UI, but that doesn’t quite satisfy our user story on this one. Can this please be considered? The Cockpit is our central work-hub and we should not force our CSM’s to click to a Dashboard to try to get this info.
The red dot notification on the filter icon on a dashboard is misleading. Expectation: the red dot appears when the dashboard has been filtered using one or more of the global filters available.Reality: the red dot appears when the dashboard has global filters available, even if none are currently applied to the dashboard This request is to only have the red dot appear when a filter is actively being applied to a dashboard.
How can I expand the ‘About Me’ field to look like it accepts paragraph(s) rather than a few words? A more detailed About Me is crucial for amping credibility and intro on people’s profiles on a Community.Another adjoining Q: How can I reward (Ranks, badges) users who fill out their About Me?
Relatively new to PX, but would love to be able embed a survey engagement inside of an email sent via PX.
The current setup, if you want to insert information to a custom field on a success plan, it needs to be editable from the UI on the plan itself. There are some data that we want to import that we do not want editable from the UI, but we want to update with a rule. For example, we want to update a custom field that indicates what quarter the the plan is generated for via a rule, but do not want CSM to alter this once the plan is generated.
Hi team, The way we have an ability to show which section of Gainsight should be as default home page in SFDC? https://community.gainsight.com/cs-best-practices-19/can-you-choose-a-default-landing-page-for-when-you-log-into-gainsight-692?sort=likes.desc Is there is any possible way we could do this for NXT as well, Like the Home page, showing cockpit, rather than showing Dashboard?
We would like the ability to filter by fiscal date within the Rules Engine Setup Rule. We have some rules that power MDA and reporting that report only on current FQ. Each new quarter, we have to manually adjust the dates to the current quarter, so this will become unscalable once our number of rules grow.
