In the Query Builder, when we use custom events, If we want to group by the properties of the custom events, we can only do so if the property data type is string. It would be really helpful if we have the ability to group by all the data types for all the properties of custom events.
It would be awesome if you would add a “default” contact list for success/failure notifications from Rules and other sources, which is set in one place and applies to any active rules/etc without specific contacts otherwise listed in the Schedule config. This would allow admins to set/alter the notification email addresses for all rules at once, as well as provide the flexibility to “override” the default using the existing config in the Schedule step.
I would like to have the option of making private groups hidden from the rest of the community, and only have it visible to their members. This will support our use case to create a private messaging space for our decentralized accounts to connect and collaborate. We will only invite other members from that logo to join as part of their onboarding process.Let me know if this is possible...it would make our strategic accounts team VERY HAPPY!Cheers,Justine
We are starting to use the Snowflake connector regularly to bring data into the MDA. It would be helpful to have a “select all fields” option rather than having to click each field one at a time.
For customers who are required to encrypt their data at rest in S3, they can use PGP encryption and load the files via an S3 ingest rule or via a Rule with encryption enabled. If there are an errors in loading the file, it is difficult to troubleshoot the CSV file for import because it is encrypted. As a work around, admins need to export an encrypted file and non-encrypted file for testing from their source system. This creates a lot of additional work. It would be better if there was an easier way to decrypt a file. To decrypt the file, an admin would need to have the Private Key for decryption or be able to load the encrypted file through the Rules Engine and see the results. This could work ok if the Rules Engine provides all error logs. But if the file is not loading due to an error, its not possible. The best solution would be to get access to the private key somehow.
Gainsight has some customers who already have established playbooks for processes that are usually created and stored in Google Sheets or Excel. They would like to be able to bulk load this into Gainsight and create Playbooks via an automated mechanism (import playbook or Load to Playbook rule action)Is there anything on the roadmap for this? Thank you in advance!
The logins and age criteria are not useful for us in the current form. Many users will save their login information on their browser the first time they login, meaning they will always stay logged in and consequently their number of logins will never change and their last login date is irrelevant. It would be much more useful if sessions were measured (similar to Google) in that it timed out after a certain period and when they revisit it counts as another login/session. Similarly with age - counting age in seconds since the date they joined is an irrelevant measurement in our case. A much more useful measurement would be age in seconds of time on page since they joined.
Customer Request: Would be nice to have an indicator on which fields are required Creating a new CTA before I click save and am then told I missed fields. Without an indicator in the UI (like a red star), it feels like I'm guessing on what fields I have to fill out.
The Journey Analytics Dashboard shows Email Sent, Open, and Clicked. But there’s no good way to see who did NOT open or click. There’s a strong use case to give program managers or business owners that visibility so they can easily identify who needs to be retargeted! Currently, this would lie on the Admin to create a report through the AO object, which is not an efficient or scalable way to run programs.
Hi Team,Hope everyone doing great !! There would be instances where executives would like to see the accounts that have started red in a particular period of time and how these accounts traversed to different color labels either green, yellow, etc, over the course of time.Similarly few accounts started at yellow and how they turned to red or green over the course of time. With the above use case , How about a Sankey Diagram which gives a thorough overview over time!! To explain the above, Sources and targets are the color labels and when we hover over the lines/graph, it should show the time/date and the number of accounts in that state.
It would be helpful if Survey recipients could an add an attachment to their responses that is then stored within Gainsight.
Ran into a situation today where I needed to check all my queries across multiple JOs for end dates, and had to click through each JO to check them. Would love to be able to see them all in one place.
In addition to this idea (attachments in PM's) I'd like to suggest enabling the WYSIWYG editor for PM's in general (front- and back-end). One of the most obvious reasons that we at Simyo would like this feature is for sending out our NPS surveys via hyperlink. Being able to user hyperlinks would and/or a visual might greatly increase the amount of replies we receive. Who would like to see the WYSIWYG editor in PM's? and how would you benefit from this? :) Greetings, Thomas
Hi Team, As of now we can customise the fonts and its size of Names and Tokens and in new report revamp we can do the same in Chart reports but we cannot do the same in Tabular reports. So can we please include this in future roadmap where users can change the size and fonts of text in reports of Success Snapshot 2.0. Since few customers are feeling that few reports are concise and not as per their desired representation. Thanks,Prathap
The new HA is great for remembering customizations and user changes to a dashboard, but included in that should be column width resizing. HA should recognize a column width resizing change made by a user and allow them to “Save” that change for the next time they visit the dashboard. Reports have a lot of white space and allowing users to customize this experience with a tabular report would be very useful.
I have not begun using Success Snapshots yet for various reasons but talking with my Gainsight CSM I understand that if I have formatted a presentation to have specific Reports show up on the slides, the date range will be hardcoded and the CSM would not be able to select an alternative date range. Sometimes adapting to customer schedules has an impact on the date range of data you plan to share. There needs to be flexibility in the SS feature for the CSM to select a date range that maps to their specific need.
Hey Team, This is Logan from Support. We've recently had a few requests for some additional features in the Report Builder's Advanced Logic that seem like great ideas! Specifically, the ability to compare two fields to narrow down results. For example: (Created By = 😵 AND (Assignee = X)In this case, we would be looking for records where both the "Created By" would also have a "Assignee" of the same user. But we would need the ability to add variables in here, as we wouldn't want to specify which user exactly. In our Rules Engine "Setup Action" additional criteria, we have the ability to add a filter saying "Created By = FIELD (or VALUE)". This same type of filtering would be beneficial in the Reports for showing granular results that our users are looking for! Thanks for the help! I'd be happy to provide additional information if requested.
Hello! I’m working on some scorecard stuff today and I’ve found that comparing the weights between two scorecards is awkward. The best I can do is open two windows and dock them side by side. It would be SUPER if we could get the config, including measure/group weights, exposed in an MDA for reporting. Even super-er would be an “export config to excel” button in the scorecard config screen, or - possibly - some sort of in-app pop-out explaining the config for a scorecard in C360. In addition to admin work like comparing scorecards or setting up new weights, I have semi-regular conversations internally about how scores are weighted and right now it is difficult for me to share exact values with people who cannot log in to Gainsight to check. Being able to quickly screenshot or export all that data and send it to someone in an email would save me a lot of heartburn.
Currently in Journey Orchestrator, all of the “AO” objects only provide info on Failure Reason for failed participants. This field is not adequate to provide granular details on why someone was failed/dropped from a program.. Programs show failure reason like: “participant on Bounce List”, but no info on what what/when this bounce occurred is provided. it would be a much better user/admin experience if Event Message,Date, Type was exposed in objects like AO Participants, AO Failed Participants, AO Email. I have worked with multiple Admin’s in the past 2 weeks on this and have been able to marry Event info from Email Raw Events into either AO Participants or AO Failed Participants via Data Designer, but it would be MUCH easier if we could have object based lookups to Email Raw Events to show Event Message and (at least) Event Date. Also -- in the JO UI when looking at failed participants would it be possible to add a little interactive “+” icon that if expanded would show the actual bounce/Event Message and message date to better explain why a participant was removed from a program?
The default value for a matrix object only applies when you try to actually load that value. If you just create a record from a file that doesn't contain a mapped value, it's just NULL. So, idea 1 is that the default value should, in fact, be the value that is populated by default, regardless of whether my file has that column mapped.
We often include Summary notes in tabular reports on dashboards for our CS Managers. Previously, the report displayed Summary notes field as Rich Text. With Horizon Analytics, the field is now Plain Text, making it more difficult for managers to read through Summary notes at-a-glance. I’m aware that you can click the [...] and see the Rich Text view, but that means clicking into each record’s field to see that information, which is cumbersome and again, defeats the purpose of having these fields at-a-glance. Can we bring back the ability to see Rich Text fields as Rich Text in reports?
Call to Action has a Rule action ID field - this enables you to see what actions are creating what CTAs. While only having the Id (as the name implies) is a bit annoying, it is still useful so you can disambiguate exactly what action created what CTA. I would like the same function for Success Plans. Why it’s not on there is beyond me, but having this kind of functionality for an artifact that can be created via rule would be great. Edit: See also
