I’m not sure if this is posted somewhere, or I just had a dream. Cause, that’s normal. But it would be amazing if there was a C360 option for JO. Use Case:A CSM is able to view the Company’s C360, and among viewing Scorecard 2.0, Person, Survey, etc. They could view JO’s that went out to the customer and view their ‘summary’ information. Such as when/if they opened it - and when. [Right now, I understand you can build a report (it’s what we do) but it would be nice to have the updated UI to match the other areas]. Thank you! If this is posted somewhere, could someone link so I can like?
In the rules engine, you can trigger multiple CTAs on the same step which is super helpful for when you need to give a different version of a playbook depending on criteria. For example, a NPS program should be able to give a Detractor response one playbook and Passive and Promoter different playbooks. However, you do not have the option when triggering a CTA in a program to apply a different playbook depending on criteria. We have an NPS program where low touch gets an automated response and High Touch gets a CTA for the CSM to use more discretion. We have email templates set as tasks depending on the if the score is detractor/ passive or promoter. Instead of just giving one based on the score, we have to include two tasks in the playbook and provide either option. This may work, but it is a workaround and makes our ability to report if an email was sent or not difficult
Hi All, I dont know if it is just me, but the surveys within Gainsight PX are quite bland? within the realms of what we use PX for, we tend to do some quite eye-catching engagements and the survey’s look a bit poor in comparison. I’ve pasted some examples below of what I think could look nicer:
Imagine this…You build an awesome looking report with visualization (i.e. anything but Table or Mass Edit). You click into any of the components in order to add details for the drilldown. You click some button and select “Drilldown Template”. Suddenly, like magic, all your standard columns such as Company Name, Health Score, CSM, Account Owner, MRR, etc all appear. I would think this would need to be templatized by object, i.e. a Company-based report would have its own templates; perhaps lookups would work, such as Company-based drilldown templates would be available on a Success Plan-based report since there is a Company lookup. But man oh man would this be a GAMECHANGER for report building and standardization. SO MUCH time would be saved. End Proctoring-
JO Email Template should have a functionality to check spam score of the email which will be used in the Program. If the score is bad, it should provide recommendations to improve it.Example: Remove a certain word from the subject line OR use an actual email box instead of an alias email to improve the spam score.
I have a request to be able to add additional "status" options to Gainsight. Currently these are system defined without the ability add more. Customer would like to be able to customize this.
I’m having to manually go into each Journey Orchestrator program to determine which ones are sourcing Salesforce objects because there is no place else that I know of which contains this information. I don’t find it in Analyzer (there is no Programs Analyzer, and the Config Home only includes Name, Code, Type, Status, Model Name, Model Type and Survey Name.At a minimum this should include the same/similar details as is available in the Config Home Rules tab including Source.
Requesting auto-notifications to the group administrator when new group requests are received so that the group admin is prompted to go in and approve/decline the request. Currently, this has to be checked manually.
We have encountered this scenario multiple times, somehow we are solving it by creating number of tasks in a rule. For example for a customer we have to derive {[(Count of Cases Closed where Jira Issue ID != Null)/Total Cases Closed] . we had to write 3 tasks to do this . where as simple function inside case statement .For one customer we had to goon and write up-to 15 tasks.
I’m quite a fan of the Branded Templates myself and I’m perfectly cool with the “Powered by insided” banner at the bottom of every page, but I can also understand that not everyone likes that. And I also respect the fact that some people might want to remove it… Preferably without risk of a ToS breach. But section 5.3 doesn’t say anything about inSided doing the modification. I’ve seen a few forum software options where you can purchase an optional “branding removal” add-on that permits removal of the “powered by” branding either automatically or allows you to flip the switch on and off freely. It is a paid add-on in those cases, but is a way to allow a customer to remove the branding while remaining compliant with the EULA on the basis that purchasing the add-on grants access to a built-in feature which allows the branding to be turned on/off as desired. This might be worth having as an optional extra for inSided. I would prefer for it to be an optional paid add-on rather than it being default, given that the branding is reasonably unobtrusive and is very commonly used across most platforms - and is definitely not as horrible to the eye as certain other platforms like Khorus! It’s hopefully a best of both worlds solution to this thread that will make everyone happy too. :)
I was talking with Andrew S/Episerver about a situation he was facing on with one of his connectors - he was having a recurring error but the connector in question (bulk api) was a bit scant on actual error details… it really didn’t provide any logs, so he had to figure out his issue manually. This led to another conversation about whether Gainsight might be able to provide varied levels of logging detail. Some Admins like Andrew are very technical and the ability to provide more complete logging in error messages or execution logs would be beneficial. So that leads to something that I think might be useful (if it is feasible) - many program have varying levels of settings detail, but typically there are 2 levels of granularity: basic and advanced settings. Would it be possible to have an advanced setting for Superadmin level users that would provide additional logging for error messages (over and above what is already provided)?
Hey all, I’m new to Gainsight administration and have a pain point to solve for our CS teams. We’ve recently transitioned a lot of our work from Hubspot to Gainsight, however the team are sorely missing Hubspot’s feature that allows dialling a phone number from their browser. That functionality is very useful as it provides efficiency gains, it automatically records call time for accurate reporting (and actual voice recordings) and means we can avoid having to supply and maintain work mobiles for employees (and they don’t have to look after them either!).I believe Hubspot use Twilio Are there any plans for GainsightNXT to offer a similar functionality, pehaps with Amazon Connect or similar?
Having the ability to schedule rules to run more frequently is awesome. Love that ability. It would be great, though, for this to be more user friendly and intuitive. Not everyone has experience with Cron, (I do from my linux admin days but my teammates don't). Could a front end be put on this so that the end user doesn't have to understand/figure out the Cron format? I know in your documentation you do have a link to a cron expression builder...but would be great if the tool did this for you. Bonus points for making Advanced Scheduler available on Rule Chains. (I think that idea is elsewhere in Community)
Similar to Melissa's recommendation in "Need the ability to report on external contacts within Timeline Activity," it'd be nice to have the ability to report on Internal Attendees from the Activity Timeline. Use Case: My technical team (TSMs) often join CSMs on phone calls, emails, etc. I would like to run a report and see how often my team is listed on an Activity as an "Internal Attendee" to help understand our impact.
The Gainsight Assist add-on is currently only available on Google Chrome. Google Chrome is horrible for privacy and security (https://www.forbes.com/sites/zakdoffman/2021/03/20/stop-using-google-chrome-on-apple-iphone-12-pro-max-ipad-and-macbook-pro/?sh=7069cdb54d08) There are a bunch of write ups like this. I would like to leverage Firefox as my browser and want access to the Gainsight Assist plugin. Please add this so I don’t have to compromised my privacy just to work in your platform.
Posting on behalf of a customer… It would be great if users would have one click access to Articles/Videos. Currently, there is a two step process to click on the Article/Video option, then click on the “Read More...” link. See below: It would also be great if each Feedback Category could be sent to a separate forwarding address. For example: Issue → Support team Feature request - > Product team General Feedback / Other → only stored in PX Feedback Analytics sending feedback "categories" to different email addresses.
I was expecting the Slack messages to have the format that can be seen in the screenshot here: But what I see is just links to Gainsight:How do I enable the full preview in Slack?I should clarify that my engagement named “Feedback widget” is a Multi-Question Survey with one question.Thank you!
💡For our knowledge and radar for Super Users, it is useful to know who are the users with specific badges to give them special attention. I suggest to add this list in the Analytic section: "Export Users". We can see at the moment the rank on the list but not badges. Or in the badges section where it shows how many users by badge, to be able to click here and get the list (same for ranks). Thank you
Hi all, in our Community at www.A1community.net quite often we get very long user posts - for example when a user posts instructions on how to install a certain software on your PC. See an example post here. It'd be a blessing if it was possible to set anchors. With anchors, you could create an index at the start of the post, so that a user can easily navigate to the parts of the post that matter to him. Looking forward to your optinions/feedback on that idea! BR, Wolfgang
Posting on behalf of customer:It would be great if we could increase the CSV export limit(currently 10K) in adoption analytics to a higher value. Currently, when ever we have have more that 10K records to be exported we are having to reduce the timeframe to accommodate the export limit.
The success plan should auto-closed once all associated objectives and tasks are closed. Currently, its a manual process.
Would be great if we could set permissions so that certain SP types/templates could only be an option/be used by permission set. For example, we have a team that has a specific SP type and template that only they use. So, we’d like to restrict that type to only users in their group.
I recently submitted a support ticket for something we thought was a bug but is expected behavior.A ‘reply’ window does not show under new topics posted in public groups unless you are already a member of that group. But the community member didn’t know that she had to be a member to reply. When posts in groups are surfaced in Recently Active & elsewhere outside of their group, a community member would not understand why they don’t see a reply option. As is, it’s a bit misleading, as people see the text: “Be the first to reply!” but then there is no way to do so (if they haven’t joined the group yet). I’d love to have an option to customize this text or otherwise make it clear that joining the group will result in a visible reply window. For example:Be the first to reply! (Note: To reply, you’ll need to be a member of the group where it was posted!)
