We have multiple products and these products are also the filters available on our Ideation page. Currently, when a product filter is chosen, the Ideas list view gets changed according to the chosen filter but the Ideas Pipeline view on top does not reflect those changes. We’re looking to leverage on this Ideation segment for more Product-related initiatives and this feature would help in streamlining those.
It would be great to able to generate a raw export of all events from all users in a given account. For example, if an account has 17 users, I would like to export an aggregate list of the “Recent Activity” in one long list for all 17 users. This would make it easy to do some Excel post-processing to analyze patterns in a given customer context.
Since Dec 1, our community has gained 587 new Users Awaiting E-mail Confirmation accounts. 36 of them were created between Dec 1 and Dec 17. The rest showed up rapidly, beginning on Dec 18. Clearly, bots are to blame here. Please add Google's reCAPTCHA to the user registration process (as quickly as is humanly possible 😁). I'll have to open a support ticket to ban or erase all of these accounts in bulk since we don't have that option 😉 Side question, are others here seeing a similar uptick in these stats?
Haven’t seen this here yet, feel free to delete if it’s captured in another post: I’d like the option to display the health across multiple scorecards or at least, when more than one is present, select the one I want to display (allow me to toggle and tell me which one I’m seeing) in the main GS Home ribbon: Edit: Evidently this is supported, but not when multiple scoring schemes are being used - Title really should then be “Multiple Scorecard Scheme Support”
Hey Insided - We could really benefit from a role that allowed users to publish articles. They don’t need any other permissions - just the ability to write and edit knowledgebase articles. Ideally, they’d be able to do this from the front end, NOT the moderator console. But if they had mod console rights (because that’s probably an easier change for you - rather than having to add articles as a new content type on the front end), they’d only need access to the content section.
Posting on behalf of BMC - It would be great to be able to update customer information from a Dashboard/Report. This would be particularly useful when needing to make updates across multiple customers. The idea is that instead of having to navigate to the C360 for each individual customer to make updates, a user could edit information across customers via a single report.
Posting on behalf of several customers… Description:Currently, every PX application user must be created manually and their Role permissions assigned manually too. Additionally, PX does not implement the concept of shared user role permissions sets, so updating user permissions must be complete on a one by one basis. These shortcomings to managing PX application users can be challenging … even for small sets of users and for minor role permission changes. Feature Requests:Add the ability to create/manage user role permissions sets and assign these quickly to PX application users. Add the capability to create update, and manage PX application users and roles via a new set of REST API call. Implement a new option in PX Data Loader to import PX application user from a CSV file.
We use milestone’s to track major application go-lives in their respective timelines, but sometimes multiple applications go-live at once. Would be good to be able to create just one-timeline entry and link to multiple relationships so that they appear in each (and so there aren’t duplicates at the company level).
Some people make an account with usernames that need to be changed by the moderator team. Also, a lot of users assume they can log in with their e-mailaddress, which fails. This would fix it and help users whose username has been changed.
It would be super helpful for our CSMs to be able to send a link to a customer to allow them to manage their opt out. We are starting to rely on Journey Orchestrator more and more and if CSMs get a response about wanting to opt out, we want the CSM to be able to direct them to their own opt via a link
Is there anyone else that would like to see an integration between InSided and JIRA? Sonos Beta uses JIRA to track all their Bugs, Issues and trends and it would be nice to see these two platforms interact with each other.
I know you can email timeline entries, and that you can send an email from cockpit, but our CSMs want to be able to send an email template from timeline. Many of the templates we make available to send from cockpit don’t warrant the creation of a CTA but is something they’d likely send based on a timeline entry. CSMs are more likely to adopt sending email templates if it was possible from timeline.
I recently ran into a use case where I needed to restrict permissions on the GS Opportunity object. Unfortunately, I can’t access any lookup fields when setting permissions. So instead of being able to say “CSM = logged in GSID” like I can do when setting permissions at the Company level, I can only access fields on the GS Opportunity object, which doesn’t seem helpful. Is the answer that I have to add the CSM ID field to the GS Opportunity in order to solve for this use case? Can we please consider allowing at least one level of lookup for cases like this so that I could at least access fields on the Company object in this case (which GS Opportunity looks up to)?
The addition of the “Next Task Due Date” is a good step toward restoring a sort functionality in the new Horizon Experience Cockpit, but it does not take into account CTAs that have no Tasks. Currently users have no way to sort ALL of their CTAs and Tasks in the order of a comprehensive due date, losing functionality that existed in the prior Cockpit layout.Effectively, a CTA without TASKS is a Task itself, and the Due Date of the CTA is the NEXT TASK DUE DATE. Please add this to enable a comprehensive sort order for the cockpit that will include CTAs AND Tasks.
Hey! I was checking out the new view on GS, and noticed that adjusting columns is difficult. You can’t shrink them to the size you want, and you can’t expand columns without having the columns to the right be pushed farther out of view. See video for reference.
Hi, Is it possible to customize the link colors for in-line survey questions in email templates? When creating the template itself I can do the usual customizations as well as edit the template's html. At a minimum I would like to be able to edit the colors to match our other branding inside the email (see screenshot).
Hello Team, The Find String functionality is a must needed feature. For example, please refer to the below strings. I would like to get the first part of the string from the first letter till "-”. From “CUSTOMER SUCCESS - CUSTOMER CARE TAM” I would like to extract “CUSTOMER SUCCESS”. From "CUSTOMER SUCCESS MGMT - PSM” I would like to extract “CUSTOMER SUCCESS MGMT”. There is no way to achieve this using the Gainsight String Formulas. In Excel, we can achieve this by writing a nested formula as below =LEFT("CUSTOMER SUCCESS - CUSTOMER CARE TAM",(FIND("-","CUSTOMER SUCCESS - CUSTOMER CARE TAM")-1))Result will be: CUSTOMER SUCCESS=LEFT("CUSTOMER SUCCESS MGMT - CMM",(FIND("-","CUSTOMER SUCCESS MGMT - CMM")-1))Result will be: CUSTOMER SUCCESS MGMTCUSTOMER SUCCESS - CUSTOMER CARE TAM CUSTOMER SUCCESS - CUSTOMER CARE CLOUD CUSTOMER SUCCESS - RENEWAL MANAGEMENT CUSTOMER SUCCESS MGMT - CMM CUSTOMER SUCCESS MGMT - PSM CUSTOMER SUCCESS MGMT - ENTERPRISE
Success Plan is misspelled in the New Success Plan form. The Company name should show up first in the search: When creating a Success Plan, the Success Plan “disappears” and you’re put back to the main Success Plan pane with a little window that says “Successplan (sic) has been created successfully” and a hyperlink to view Success Plan. If I am manually creating a Success Plan, 9 times of 10 I am going to want to configure the SP. I should be taken straight to the newly created Success Plan instead of the main view. If I don’t click “View Success Plan” in time, then I have to go hunt for it. Also “Successplan” should be two words.Default Status should be “Draft” with the option to select “Active.” Don’t make me have to select Draft... In the old Success Plan tool, I was able to preview the tasks associated with Objectives when applying Templates. I cannot in the new Horizon tool….this requires CSMs to know which Template/Objectives they are looking for, without the ability to drill deeper. They should be able to see the tasks when selecting a template. OLD VIEWNEW VIEW On the GANTT chart, you can see the dependencies between Objectives indicated by the connector lines, however; when you switch over to the Objectives tab and expand the “Monitoring command line interface actions” objective which is a dependent of “Recognizing improper use of system administration tools” there is no indication or reference to the fact it is dependent on the completion of the other task. It would be nice to be able to see the connection between dependent objectives (and same for dependent tasks) when in the objective or task view as those views contain additional information like comments & notes of the situation and importance of the task that isn’t seen when looking at the Gantt chart.
I need to build some formula fields in a report like we do for salesforce but unable to find this function in report 2.0. Do i have to used a custom field on the object to do this? Basically working on replacing some excel pivot table reports and want to expose them in Gainsight Dashboards for exectutives.
I miss the old functionality of being able to update the Report Name from within Report Builder on that report. Now I have to go to the list view to edit it. The reason this is not ideal: I am accessing reports quite frequently from Dashboard Builder or GS Home config, and so I am nowhere near the report in list view. I need to search for it. This is entirely too many clicks, and reduces the value added with the easy access from Dashboard Builder/GS Home config.
We get customers who sometimes have an Idea but post it as a question, or (the reverse) they ask a question in the Idea section. I know that we can convert Ideas into Questions, but it would be great to be able to convert Question/Conversations into Ideas. This will save as a lot of re routing, re linking, and reposting on our end.
We used to be able to build scorecard mass edit and habits reports in Report Builder. It appears this function has been separated and is now only accessible in the Scorecard 2.0 area. Are there any plans to bring scorecard visualizations back into Report Builder? The current setup requires a lot of toggling back and forth if you are trying to build new reports and dashboards with Scorecard objects.
The new Timeline Associated Record feature is great. I noticed that you can go into Renewal Center and create a Timeline entry on an Opportunity and associate it to a CTA.You cannot though, create a Timeline entry from the global timeline or C360 timeline (or CTA timeline for that matter) and associate it with an Opportunity. Even if it is for the same company. If you can do it one way it would be great to be able to have it bidirectional!
