Hi team,We would like to have the ability see previous product ideas and contents of the update as in the below attached image. Current Challenge: At present, when a user clicks on a specific product update, they are taken to a view that only displays that individual item. To see other updates or find any contents of the same announcement, the user must go back or scroll from the top to the bottom post, which is an inefficient navigation process.Proposed Solution: We recommend implementing a persistent, dual-sidebar navigation system, as exemplified in the attached image. This would consist of: A Chronological Archive Sidebar: (Similar to the left panel in the image) This would allow users to easily browse and select updates from previous months. A "Table of Contents" Sidebar: (Similar to the right panel) This would display all the headlines for the selected update, allowing users to quickly jump between different topics within it. This enhancement would greatly improve usability, allowing users to browse both current and historical updates seamlessly without getting lost on a single-topic page.
The journey display currently only shows milestone flags and a solid blue line across the bottom representing time. What we would like to do is customize that blue line or add in another layer that shows which phase of their journey with us they are in based on a field called Journey Stage = Adoption, Value Realization, Retention, or Expansion/Advocacy. This way we know if the milestones are being achieved at the right Journey Stage.
As a software company, we often add content to our kbase for upcoming releases.Currently, we have to put it in a “hidden” category to keep it from being public. We want it published so we have the final URL and our internal users can access/review, but we don’t want these articles to be publicly-accessible yet.Articles should have their own security that would further restrict access (only, one could not put an article in a ‘hidden’ category and make it not-hidden).
When uploading a document it would be nice i the platform had the ability to create an automatic thumbnail/preview of the content, instead if just listing the generic pdf thumbnail for example.
Hey Teams, This is Logan from Support. We've heard a few requests for some added configurational options on C360 sections. Specifically; when reports on C360 sections have little data, they are accompanied with an unattractive amount of "white-space". (Example from my demo Org below) https://gainsight.zendesk.com/attachments/token/eugQ94zZlKbsIpQoTrcnGMpu1/?name=inline-529668629.png Our customers have expressed their desire to be able to adjust the space for reports on the C360 to at least minimize the amount of wasted space like in the above scenario. Thanks for your consideration. Logan Thome
Hello Team, It would be great if we are able to insert tables images screenshots to a Activity Timeline Template, so that the users can refer to the image/screenshot and the users can use the tables to update the activities in a tabular format.
Hi team,It would be incredibly useful if admins could create and manage a library of suggested prompts within Co-Pilot.This would allow admins to define and share the most relevant prompts for their users — tailored to their specific instance, workflows, and data. While the Key Definitions feature helps with context, having the ability to add custom suggested prompts would take usability and adoption to the next level. Is this capability planned for an upcoming release or on the product roadmap? Thanks so much!Alan
Customers would like the ability to view or run a report showing the last login date of users, regardless of whether they have enrolled in or viewed a course.Currently, the “latest activity” column in the Students CSV only updates when a student views or completes a lesson or course, which does not accurately reflect users who log in but don’t interact with course content. This feature would help admins identify overall user engagement and track platform access over time, even for learners who haven’t started a course.
As this Feverbee blog reminds us, public communities attract a lot of new traffic via SEO. As a result, new users are more likely to come in through the back or side door, rather than the front door. We would love to be able to customize which Topic Sidebar widgets show based on user role. Use case: unregistered / logged-out users could see an HTML widget with a CTA to join or login, then hiding that widget for logged-in registered users. Many other use cases could come from there if this was possible.
Hi team,Is there support (or roadmap plans) for automatic account association on meetings created through Outlook? Right now, association and Timeline logging require manual intervention on timeline or the calendar widget which duplicates efforts. Do we have a workaround—akin to email BCC or adding a special participant/code—to log meetings directly from Outlook without duplicating effort? Thanks!
We need to automatically distribute personalized reports to hundreds of users based on their role (Account Owner, Renewal Manager, etc.), where each recipient only sees data relevant to them using the "Current User" filter. Currently, Gainsight lacks a scalable solution for this common use case.Current LimitationsAfter working with Gainsight Support, we've identified these constraints:Manual Report Sharing: Limited to static recipient lists, doesn't scale for 200+ dynamic users Journey Orchestrator: Only supports 5 columns and 20 rows for inline reports Our reports require more than 5 columns 10 record limitation per user Dashboard Sharing: Can't be automatically emailed to users on a schedule No Dynamic Distribution: Can't automatically send reports only to users who have relevant data that weekUse Case ExampleReport: Case Report Recipients: All Account Owners and Renewal Managers (200+ users) Filter: Current User (so each person only sees their accounts)Challenge: Recipient list changes weekly based on who has active casesProposed SolutionAdd a new feature for Dynamic Report Distribution that:Supports "Current User" filter in bulk report sharing Dynamically determines recipients based on whether they have data in the report Allows scheduling with more than 5 columns (full report, not just inline) Sends as attachment or secure link to bypass inline limitations Includes conditional sending (only send if user has data that period)
We're seeing that our users often quote a whole (longgggg) message and then just reply to a tiny section of that quote because they don't know how to edit (or don't care to). That then makes their reply harder to read, so we (as mods) then have to go in and edit out all the irrelevant bits. Would it be possible to make the editor work in such a way that youcan select a piece of text in a reply then press the quote button and have the selected text become the quote
Noticed today that Viewer Plus users by default have access to Adoption Explorer and Text Analytics, and there is no way for an admin to remove access to those two items. This should be within an admins power to control. We aren’t currently using Text Analytics (and have no imminent plans to) nor are we using Adoption Explorer so they’re just blank and useless.
During a discussion in the GGA slack group, we found that the new Dynamic JO programs do not allow admins to set conditions using a subquestion in matrix survey questions. This was a feature in the old advanced programs and should be something reimplemented to the new JO builder. Not having this is a hinderance to better tailoring customer journeys based on their survey responses.
The In-Progress feature on builder pages is very helpful, but it tells just part of the story b/c it is limited to only showing in-progress courses. I am wondering if there are plans to incorporate in-progress paths (and their courses) via this feature? To truly provide a personalized dashboard block that offers a simple way to continue any enrolled training, we’d like to incorporate courses and paths. We are finding that even when a learner is enrolled in a path, the in-progress courses they are working on in the path don’t show on the In-Progress courses block. Is that intended?
There is no way to drill down and see users/accounts on dashboard widgets such as “Active Users/Accounts”, “Feature KPI”, “Feature Performance” and all other widgets where this would be very helpful (I assume this would be helpful for every widget). We’ve faced this issue for a while and the only temporary solution I have is building multiple query builder reports which is tedious and in various cases, not possible. This issue occurs in other reports like Retention Analysis as well where we have little/no way of knowing the users/accounts that belong to a particular cohort. The last post about this idea was almost 3 years ago and I assume it isn’t a very popular request as it still hasn’t been picked up.
Ability to CC or BCC on email programs. I know it was removed a while back but would be great to add back the ability to CC/BCC in an email program. I understand why it was removed and replaced with an email copy but that is only a notification email. Our use case includes being able to send an email as the CSM and copy the account owner or sales team so the customer knows who they can contact in response. We have a few different use cases for this and would love the option to CC or BCC in a regular program.
Currently, the AI digest on the exec dashboard will only show a summary specific to a book of business if the user is the mapped system owner. It would make sense for a manager to be able to filter by owner, or another field, and have the ai digest update based on the book of business we want to see.
With the current implementation, when an automated Milestone gets added, in the Activity, the Created By is shown as System Administrator. When Company or Relationship Attributes are changed by Users and cause Milestone creation, it would be ideal to show the CSM who performed the change as Created by User rather than System Administrator.
Would love to be able to segment out Timeline activities based on Permissions or User Groups.Example Use Cases:We have a few teams that have activity types that are specific to their roles that have custom fields and other automation based on them. Being able to only show those activity types to those specific users would help 1-cut down on activities logged incorrectly 2-shorten the list of activity types for others who do not use those types. We’d still want them to be filterable, but not be selectable in the dropdown when creating an activity.
Would love a way for Gainsight to tell me when I need to merge a Person record instead of me having to configure it myself to notify me or go check the Unification section.Even better if you could leverage all your AI-ness to determine which one I should keep and provide the mechanism to do it immediately versus the extremely manual process today.
We’ve been doing a bunch of contact clean up in Salesforce resulting in needing to a bunch of People merges in SFDC, and it’s realllly painful. We use External ID as our unique identifier, and that’s not one of the fields included on the merge page, so I literally have to add it for every single merge to determine which Person record I want to keep.Would love it would just remember what fields I selected last time so I didn’t have to go add it each time! Have to click the + and add External ID every single time
Imagine how amazing it would be to directly embed those great out-of-the-box (OOTB) analytics widgets from program analytics or surveys right into our custom dashboards! It might be a big ask, but the potential is huge.Simple use case: displaying program analytics combined with reports from a Dataspace and/or MDA objects, eg: Integrating OOTB analytics into custom dashboards will empower Admins with greater control and deliver a much smoother user experience for end users. The current separation of these analytics creates a disjointed workflow, where the best we can do is waste a full license (Viewer Analytics holders don’t have access) and add a rich-text widget with links to those other analytics pieces.
