Would love to see more capacity for filtering in Data Designer.  We are currently locked at 26 items.  Complex data designs often require additional filters.   The worst case scenario (which I just faced) is needing to add a filter to an existing item and the filter count is maxed: I then had to rebuild the elements and reports, which required additional testing/approval/etc rather than just adding an additional filter.

It would be great if we were allowed to have disconnected branches that are ignored by the rules engine. Use case: I am building a rule that requires substantial planning for future years, and it would be in my best interest to go ahead and build out additional years.  I am not yet ready to use the information.  I would like to “store it” in the rules engine for later use. Additionally, it would be beneficial in trying to review how the data is pulling as you build.

It would be fantastic if we could see the original names of items and paths on the drill down reports.  Sometimes, if a name is changed, it is very difficult to figure out what field exists on a report.   In our instance, we have lots of lookups connected to items like Salesforce, and renamed items with nested information is VERY difficult to navigate!

Currently, while adding slides to an existing success snapshot without updating the template we have to clone the existing slide and then update the template. This is perhaps considered as the only way to add a new slide(s) or make updates. We would like the ability to have an add slide option to the existing template, without making any changes to the other tokensized slides.  This would make the success snapshot creation/updation effective and efficient. @abhishekdruva @rahul_prayakarao @Neha Gupta FYA

It would be nice to allow our CSMs to upload/select their own Customer Branded PPT template when creating a Success Snapshot. Currently CSMs have to export and then copy and past a lot of info into the customer branded ppt for their QBRs.

Group Tags do a cool job to visually group ‘Groups’ on the Groups Overview page UI ?Currently the Group-tag selection does not reflect in the url which remains a static mycommunity.com/groupsBut, with Custom pages we would need to be able to serve up the tagged-results for the specific Product/ProgramAnd that would need the Tag to be passed as a query string to create a unique url for hyperlinkingwithin a content (like we have for Product Areas), and also a widget that does that in the backend and we get a curated list on the widget.So for the Custom page for product A, or for a program, we’re able to show:Discussions, Ideas, Events and Groupsrelated to Product A tied to a landing experience.

We are trying to streamline our user management across various systems including Gainsight and have structured this process so that user management for all systems routes through one user (with a backup). I attempted to create a dedicated ‘User Management’ permission bundle giving access to these responsibilities to that user however discovered that to add users you MUST be a superadmin. IMO these are two very different roles and we open up a lot of risk within our instance by giving someone who is not a trained admin superadmin capabilities just so they can add users to the system.Please allow us to permission adding users to those outside of the superadmin role. Thank you!

We would like to be able to choose which types of activities are sent to slack via Sally subscriptions, right now the setting is just a Yes/No, and too many updates are being sent to slack. This would help us tailor the types of activities we’re notifying people about  

I’m really not sure how I didn’t encounter this issue sooner 😅I assumed this functionality was a checkbox in the survey admin somewhere since similar functionality exists in program settings (wherein I can allow participants to enter the same program after “completed” status). I have a JO program that I used for onboarding new customers. These customers are prompted to submit a GS survey. The survey gathers relatively simple but foundational information from the client. Information that’s relevant whenever the client renews as a customer too. So I configured the JO Program to allow the same participant to enter the program after they've completed it once. The idea is that the client renews their contract and then enters the onboarding program again. but it seems that when the same participant is sent the survey for the second time, they are told by GS they “already filled out the survey”. After chatting with GS Support, it’s looks like currently this isn't supported. Hello,We have created a custom object to display data on the C360, like # of active contracts, and it would be very helpful if these widgets worked the same as the dashboard widgets. Users should be able to click on the widget card from the C360 and have it open a drill-down report for more info rather than having to navigate elsewhere to get the info they need.I can imagine this would be very helpful for any KPI you’ve created as a field widget on the C360/R360.Thank you!​

PX's current functionality only includes Adoption, In-app Performance, and Email Performance reports under Email Reports → Custom Reports. Can we have survey performance reports also included here? 

We have initial delay option in dialog engagement. Can we have this option for survey engagements as well ?  

Hi there,Real-time sync job doesn’t support calculated fields (which contain a formula built in DM). I realize it’s “logical” because they don’t contain values per se.However, this would be handy. Could this be made to be supported, i.e. update event would be triggered whenever the fields used in the calculation are updated?Thanks!Alizée

It would be great if CSMs had a quicker way to manually add a CSM to their calendar vs having to open the CTA, go to the upper three dot and select that option.Include an “Add to Calendar” / “Remove from Calendar” button to the Cockpit list view.  

I’ve received feedback from CSMs who used to live and die by the Cockpit Calendar View pre-horizon that they wish they had more granular options to group CTAs in Cockpit List View, beyond just “Today” “Next 15 Days” and “Upcoming”I realize Gainsight isn’t bringing back the Calendar view and that the direction is to use Calendar sync, however for CSMs that have a lot of customer accounts, this can really clutter up their Outlook/Google calendar view.A good compromise would be to allow the addition of additional cockpit groupings i.e. “Tomorrow”, “Next 7 Days” and the ability to group by Due Date displayed by the actual day.  Also they REALLY don’t like the “Due in 2 Days”, “Due in 3 Days” stuff either. Add the ability to display the actual Due Date.  

This will help ensure our pooled csm who use zendesk have their threads written into the Gainsight timeline

The NPS widget currently does not include a date range of ‘Previous Quarter, Previous 6 months” etc. So we use Last N Days to calculate the score based on our survey schedule. However, when trying to enable the NPS Automatic Milestone for the C360 Customer Journey Timeline, we get an error message that we cannot activate it due to the NPS date range config.Can the automatic NPS milestone be updated to support Last N Days calculation? If not, can adding additional out of the box preset date ranges to include a ‘Previous...” look back, be assessed?

Author’s Username, User ID, Avatar, Rank, and Main (Primary) Role is already available. I’d love for custom user roles to feed through as well, like they do in the data exports. 

When Creating a Lead Manually Lead owner receives an Email notification. However, this is not the case when the lead is inserted/created by the Rules Engine automation 

Hello! Recently, my org had a request to delete some accounts in relation to one of our teams that work out of Gainsight directly. We had too many accounts living in Gainsight, so we created a filter that we thought would work in deleting the appropriate accounts. Sadly, we had several accounts get deleted that should not have gotten deleted. The deletion was permanent, so I opened a Gainsight Support ticket (Retrieving lost records for CTAs, Timeline Entries, etc... that were deleted with account deletion – Gainsight (zendesk.com)) in hopes of getting some assistance in retrieving those deleted records, along with the important data that lived within those deleted records. Gainsight Support has worked with me on this, and we have been successful in retrieving some of the lost data, but not all of the data. This has put a significant strain on the team in which those accounts belonged to. I am wondering if there might be a way to input some sort of “Recycling Bin” feature within Gainsi

I missed something in my setup for the customer goals rule which created 3300 empty goals. this didn’t show up in testing but I am unable to delete them en masse and Support said they’re unable to either as it’s a system object. This is HUGELY frustrating. I’m now having to go account by account and delete almost all of the goals. Can we PLEASE have the ability to delete those objects created in error in bulk or via mass edit? 

Currently the UX for saving a connector job chain is much different than anywhere else in Gainsight, and it is non-intuitive overall, causing us to miss the ingest of data at times.In the Connectors 2.0 → Job Chains section, when you drag a rule over to be part of a rule chain, there is no clear save button.  This makes the user/admin assume that the change is saved once the rule is dragged over into the rule chain.  However, exiting this screen does not save the rule chain.It appears there is a little gray check box next to the rule chain name that triggers the save action for the chain.  This is easily missed and can lead admins to think their job is part of a chain, when it is actually not saved. 

If I’m not mistaken, I’m not able to “Run” a connector job chain manually. It only runs on a schedule. When we have certain jobs fail or abort in a chain, sometimes I want to run that chain. Instead I have to run each one separately, waiting for each one to finish.

Leanrinng yet another site of keyboard shortcuts, and/or fiddling around with the mouse to create one off formats for headings and the like, is not how I like to spend my day. 😊Please add markdown support to your free text fields.  This would be hugely helpful, and allow for fast, efficient authoring with good options to make the document visually appealing.  There are open source embeddable editors such as simplemde, so please consider extending your own, or adopting an open source alternative.Thank you.

I’d like to have an option for exiting or terminating the rule execution from within a setup task.For example, I have a rule that creates new Person records from a Sales to CS survey. More often that not, we have no surveys coming in, but we still have to pull all of our contacts from SFDC, and then have transformations on all of those contacts. This particular rule takes ~ 7 minutes to run, when ideally we’d see that there are no new surveys, and we exit the rule execution. This could save us a significant amount of processing time each day.
