Our company uses Gainsight CS and PX. We made our naming conventions pretty accurate so when usage data is passed to CS our CSMs can understand the feature/module that the user interacted with directly. We love the nesting of the module/feature concept in PX, however when integrating with CS that doesn't port over as seamlessly. So we need to be more descript with our names so CS users understand the behavior. That being said, when I go to path analyzer it's terribly difficult to see the pages titles. Upon hover, you can't see the full name either. There's several opportunities here... As you integrate PX with CS further port over the module/feature levels so we don't have to accommodate robust naming conventions (clearly a bigger ask) Allow for wrapping of names in the path analyzer so I can see more text Allow the hover of the path analyzer to show full text A bit of blocker for us given the nami

Because data designer objects are System objects, it s not possible to enable mapping to any field.But customers are expecting the ability to click through the field(example: When you click on Account name, that should navigate to their account C360 page or navigate to cockpit when they click on CTA name ). 

Currently if a field with multi-select datatype is coming from source, that is being converted to string in Adoption Explorer. Can we enable multi-select pick list so that it will be very flexible for customers to use them in layouts and filters. 

Do the engagement guides’ default CTA buttons link to specific actions you can call on via the query parameters? For example, If a user clicks “Skip”, it’s logged as something so I can call on that using query parameter to show them another engagement? I understand this is possible with custom buttons, but I’d rather use the ones provided vs. trying to remove them, and somehow putting my own buttons in their place to log parameters for further triggering. I also tried using the in-app engagement audience rule, but the viewed vs. completed logic doesn’t seem to be verifiable (I can’t seem to see guide completions in audience explorer user full profile, only views), and there is no skipped option. 

Hello,I would like to suggest improving Audience Dashboard.  We need data with the total number of views and unique visits for a certain period of time. My calculator is not convenient. We also need a comparison with the previous period. Thanks.

Scenario : If we create the rule, who can download it and send it to users? Requirement : So there is a need to an automated functionality from Gainsight end, like you are sending the file as attachment, you will upload it to file location and send the download link to users. Eg: In Gmail when you upload more than 25MB file, it will upload to cloud and send the link in the email to receivers.

When there are multiple contacts with same email address, even though we've configured Contact ID as part of Resolution Key, Load to Survey ignores Contact ID and associates response with the first Person record it finds with that email address.Can we make it associated with proper contact id or person id.

In our engagements we use fonts that are not suitable for Japanese, Chinese, Korean etc. We would like to set the fonts to be used for these languages centrally on the Localization tab in the Settings. There, it should be possible to set the fonts used for certain languages, possibly in combination with labels. It should also be possible to set a default font-family used in all other cases. 

When the translation state of an engagement has been set to ‘Ready for translation’ not only the text of the engagement is locked, but also the entries on the CSS tab. As these apply to all localizations and are not part of the export files for the localizations they shouldn’t be locked.

Why do we make end users select a Quick Insight type when the types refer to data sources (SFDC, MDA, Data Spaces)? The data source seems like the sort of thing we wouldn’t and shouldn’t expect an end user to know.

The admin documentation on Quick Insights mentions :Limitation: The report configured in the Quick Insight does not get automatically or manually updated when the same report is modified in the Report Builder page. 'An Exception Occurred' error message appears when the modified report type Quick Insight is queried in Slack.  It seems like in practice, there is no error message though and the report is just out of sync with the updated one from report builder. It's pretty hard to remember to update the Quick Insights whenever you modify one of the related reports. It would be great if this limitation could be resolved.

Hi Team, We noticed that quick insights image report in sally have too big font and some User Names are not showing in the report. As you can see in the image, there are 20 bars and only 10 names. Here's the screenshot : https://cl.ly/dac1d093d282 Reason : As the image size is small, it gets re-size automatically and reporting is trying to fit by skipping names on the Y-axis . Any improvements in this types of report will be really helpful.

Is it possible to create an engagement CTA that would then bring up a document within the knowledge center content? From Link_Black’s previous posts I can see where we can do this Engagement to Engagement, but the KCB is a different animal. 

It would be great if the data naming conventions were more clearly defined .. For example if you want to pull the company name… you search on “Name”  you can determine in the tree which hopefully is the right “name” but there at tons of “Name” elements ...same for CSM  - Its like 1000 people built all the standard structures in silos and there is no elegence to it . 

Wanted to mention this.  I had an playbook with an email assist task where the email template had a button for the survey.  I edited the email template to be a question instead, and when I went back to refresh it in the playbook task, it gave me a message saying the email template had been deleted when it was still active.  I believe this behavior happened because email assist doesn’t support inline survey questions, so it might make sense to update the error message to say something different besides “deleted” since it wasn’t.Thanks!

A customer submitted a support ticket in regards to fields outside of Zendesks standard API - (https://developer.zendesk.com/rest_api/docs/support/ticket_fields#list-ticket-fields) to be included in the sync and or a separate sync to grab those fields. Two being Brand name and Brand ID. I think this would be helpful for customers that customize and just want to pull in other fields not included in the standard API

Hi Team,Currently, we are not supporting the filed called "calculation_score" which is a type of calculation properties in Hubspot. When we select this type of field from the Source mapping and then it is showing the not relevant fields found in the Gainsight MDA.Could you please verify the above request and add it in the roadmap accordingly. 

Hi, We would like to have an ability to push data from Gainsight to Pipedrive CRM via the OOTB connector job rather than using .csv files or API. So basically making Pipedrive connector bi-directional. Thank you,Auste

Similar to the Case statement in the Rules Engine, I’d like to be able to compare a field value to another field value vs a constant.  When will this functionality be available?(From the rules engine): 

Hi,Below, you’ll find some ideas to extend the existing Export XLIFF API.We currently export the content of our engagements via API, choosing only the ‘Ready for translation’ state as an export criterion so that all engagements having this state are exported.It would be great if we could also add further criteria, such as labels, to filter what we want to export.What we need, as well, is a way to remove the localized content of several engagements at once. Now, we have to remove it manually from every engagement.Furthermore, it would be useful if we could customize the xliff files during the export (e.g., giving them descriptive names).Thank you very much.Best regards,Katharina

This should actually apply everywhere in Gainsight, but in testing Company Person C360 section, I went to edit an email address and got this error “FIELD UPDATE FAILED.”   No reason, no explanation. Assumedly this is because a Person record already exists containing the email address with which I was attempting to update - but the end user would not know that and thus they would contact me, the admin saying something isn’t working. 

Now that we can create CTAs and Timeline entries via the Sally Shortcut menu, it would be great for this functionality to copy the text of the message you use to bring up the shortcut. 

Let me know if this exists! It’s a common use for someone to ask a question, get the answer that it’s not possible, and then be asked to go post the idea. It’d be nice if you could just convert the question to an idea.And on the other side, someone may submit an idea that is actually possible. It’d be nice to move the idea to a question and answer it. 

Currently the Gainsight Sally feature is only available to those that have a full Gainsight license. It would be useful for the integration with Slack to allow Gainsight Sally to work in other slack channels where not all slack users have a full Gainsight license so others within the organization could see specific details on a company if someone with a full license posts something in the channel.Ie: People with a full license could create a CTA while also providing visibility to others who do not.

Hello Team,We’ve recently seen a behavior in Usage Data total time is showning in ‘K’ values, rather in Minutes/Hours. Currently it seems like a limitation. Below is the brief observation:The issue here is in GA(Google Analytics) data might in time format like minutes or seconds but when we ingest data in AE, it is coming as a number field. So that's why in charts it is being shown as Number ( like Sum (Avg Session Duration) = 10k or so).The data itself is coming from GA as a number so it's not possible for now since we don't have any capability in charts to convert the number field to a different data type for representation.like here 10k --> 10k/3600 will give hours etc. Could you please check on this request, if we could implement this in the future!
