Currently on Ideas, if a user Upvotes the idea, the button can change colors based on your customization. However, the text, or “phrase” will remain the same whether you upvoted or not. This is confusing if you are coming back to an idea and can not remember if you voted or did not vote on this idea. Ideally, the button would say “Upvote” if you have not voted, indicating that you can vote for the idea. If you have already voted for the idea, the button would say something like “Remove your Vote”. 

Similar to this question -- in chatting with the Support team, it doesn’t seem like there is currently functionality to review schedule times for Data Designer. This would be incredibly helpful to ensure we aren’t bottlenecked in any areas or creating issues with sequencing of schedule times. 

As an in-app guidance owner, I want to have exclusive rights to modify production content or promote content to production so I can ensure end-users have access to the right material.I want my coworkers to be able to create and suggest in-app guidance content, but I do not want this content to be inadvertently made available to end-users.

Events should also appear under ‘Topics’ in the user dropdown for the events created by the user. It would be great if email to timeline permitted the attachment of PDF file types when using Gainsight Assist.

Search results will reflect the permissions of the modules and categories on the platform. So if you have a private category, those results will not be visible in logged-out searches (for public or hybrid communities)In future search UX improvements, I strongly recommend that logged-out, public search results have a default call-to-action to log-in for full results. Benefits: A better experience for the end user. Increased likelihood of logins and active users for the community managersI can imagine that there might be a very limited number of fully public communities that this might be irrelevant for. However, the phrasing tool and custom CSS could easily amend that.Comparatively, the number of communities with hybrid settings, could greatly benefit from this. Quite surprised the Duration field on Activity Timeline is not automatically tracked and logged when working off of the Zoom App. I’m sure there are hit or miss type of scenarios where this wouldn’t be 100% accurate, but something would be better than nothing, right? 

We’ve been hoping to move the location of our Knowledge Center Bot to the top of the page because displaying it on either the right or left of the bottom of the screen is blocking UI Elements. Unfortunately, when positioned at the top of the page the Content Window opens upwards therefore does not display on the screen, as shown in the following example. We’re aware there is more flexibility in using an Embedded Knowledge Center Bot, but we have multiple products and would not be able to apply an embedded bot to them all. It would be helpful if we could change how the content window and close button display when Knowledge Centre Bots are positioned at the top of the page.   

I love the subscribe button in the product updates section of the Insided Platform I don’t love that it hides allllll the way over on the right hand side of the section where nobody can find it!I’d like to make this important feature more obvious and put it in more places in my own community. Questions1.Is there a way to take this subscribe button and embed it as a widget on other pages?2.Can I embed this Subscribe button for the Product updates section in a post as a call to action?  3.Is there a target URL for this button that I could po

Posting on behalf of a customer:Ability to have reusable user/account groups (similar to Segments) in KC Bot. As a user, I want to have consistent user/account groups that I can apply across multiple bots. This will make it easier to maintain my predetermined audience groups. When I make engagements, I am currently using the PX Segments feature to accomplish this; I would like to be able to have those same user groups applied to my bots.    

It appears that when a task inside an Objective does not have a due date associated with it (and appears as NA), you cannot edit the Due Date, thus requiring the user to go back to the Objective tab, into Tasks to set the date.  Am I missing something?  This is going to frustrate end users as some tasks are intended to open-ended and planned out by the end user.  Need the ability to set it directly from Gantt view.  

Hi team,I had a recent request from a CSM and after discussing with our SA determined it’s not currently possible to configure in the product, so raising it here to see if it’s something Gainsight would consider implementing.We currently have a scorecard mass edit report for all of our relationship-level scorecards that shows the company, relationship name, and overall score for the relationship. When clicking on a relationship’s overall score, the CSM is asking for the detail panel that opens up to contain the entire scorecard, rather than the timeline and history. The desired outcome is to be able to view the entire scorecard to see what’s driving the overall score without having to navigate away from the dashboard.I’m curious if this has been considered in the past? Thanks!

Hi Team,For the company person sync.We have an issue which is an existing behavior as company_person will be aborted on no success person records and since this is a company_person job, details of a person are not be exposed. Can you please review this and update here if any changes or steps can be taken to show the error logs incase of any failures for company person.

When I want to submit a support ticket in the portal, I always use the link to Gainsight Go from our Gainsight instance, and click on the support dropdown on the top right hand side of the page.I find when I do this, I don’t have the option to add emails in cc because the portal does not know who I am.To be able to sign in I have to go to “Check Your Existing Tickets” on the dropdown, and then I can sign in. I then have to go back to the dropdown to have the option to submit a ticket. It would be great if you could add an option to sign in to zendesk from the “Submit a Request” page, to save having to click on several links to be able to sign in and add other emails. Thank you

Can we have PowerShell programming language added to ‘Code’ widget?Our community is using this scripting language a lot for monitoring/reporting/automation. This was requested a year ago by Ksenia who used to be in this role as well. I could see interest from other companies too. Would you reconsider this idea?  @rickatron 

Hello! I opened up a Gainsight support ticket in hopes that they could guide me on why I wasn’t able to remove participants from a Program per the customer’s request.  I was informed that once the participant status changes to “COMPLETED”, we can no longer remove the participants from the participant list, meaning they will continue to receive these emails even though they requested not to receive them.  I asked if there was a way we could change the participant status to “ACTIVE” so we could remove them and I was told this is not a possibility. I feel that as a Gainsight Admin, we should be able to change the participant status in order to remove them per customer requests as needed. 

After setting a global filter with a ‘current user’ option, Gainsight does not allow for an Admin to verify if the filter works correctly for other End Users. Enabling this would allow for much more efficient troubleshooting and delivery from the Admin role.

Hi Team,Bringing this enhancement request on behalf of one of our customers.Currently while filtering on date fields in JO Program query builder, we do not have an option called “Next Fiscal Quarter” in the available options drop down.  Similar to which we have in report builder. Could you please let us know if this is already in our road map? If yes, client wanted to know which quarter is this planned to be released? Thank you!

In report builder you have a lot of power to set attributes shown in the drill down report but it requires choosing the fields each time. It would be a big time save if you could choose the fields per object and each time you build a report off the object it gave you the fields as a starting place and you can then amend from there: 

Hello team,As pre the current design, when a JO program run fails, the admin gets notified of the failure. But we get feedback from customers that it's not very good user experience. It should be similar to Rule failures where you can designate who get the failure/success notifications.

We have multiple teams using Gainsight Timeline and they all love to use Sally to submit new activities. If the team was able to @mention or tag other Gainsight users when creating the Timeline activity in Sally, this would save us the additional steps of having to log into Gainsight and manually tag the other user when we need to collaborate.

My CSMs are loving the calendar integration, and are finding it a great time saver.   One thing that has been suggested that would help make it even better would be the ability for the CSM to filter out meetings that they don’t want to see there.  For example, recurring internal team meetings.

This is a small thing, but whenever you run a Data Design job it sends an email notifying you of Success or Failure. There is a large graphic of a man holding a chart that takes up most of the real estate on the email. I have to scroll down a good distance just to get to the results of the actual job. Could this graphic be removed from the message so that I can actually see the message I need to view rather than this huge graphic?

Our email signatures contain images for each social media platform. These come through Gainsight Assist Outlook as attachments. Can the number of supported attachments be increased as I’m sure many other companies have image links for social for their company? 

Hello Team,Some of the customers are trying to build the report on polymorphic fields but in gainsight we never supported lookup search on polymorphic fields example like owner ID.Also child field in show me, group by, or filters by looking up through the polymorphic field are not working.Please consider this as an enhancement request and make it available for customers in future.
