Hi team,I had a recent request from a CSM and after discussing with our SA determined it’s not currently possible to configure in the product, so raising it here to see if it’s something Gainsight would consider implementing.We currently have a scorecard mass edit report for all of our relationship-level scorecards that shows the company, relationship name, and overall score for the relationship. When clicking on a relationship’s overall score, the CSM is asking for the detail panel that opens up to contain the entire scorecard, rather than the timeline and history. The desired outcome is to be able to view the entire scorecard to see what’s driving the overall score without having to navigate away from the dashboard.I’m curious if this has been considered in the past? Thanks!

Hi Team,For the company person sync.We have an issue which is an existing behavior as company_person will be aborted on no success person records and since this is a company_person job, details of a person are not be exposed. Can you please review this and update here if any changes or steps can be taken to show the error logs incase of any failures for company person.

When I want to submit a support ticket in the portal, I always use the link to Gainsight Go from our Gainsight instance, and click on the support dropdown on the top right hand side of the page.I find when I do this, I don’t have the option to add emails in cc because the portal does not know who I am.To be able to sign in I have to go to “Check Your Existing Tickets” on the dropdown, and then I can sign in. I then have to go back to the dropdown to have the option to submit a ticket. It would be great if you could add an option to sign in to zendesk from the “Submit a Request” page, to save having to click on several links to be able to sign in and add other emails. Thank you

Can we have PowerShell programming language added to ‘Code’ widget?Our community is using this scripting language a lot for monitoring/reporting/automation. This was requested a year ago by Ksenia who used to be in this role as well. I could see interest from other companies too. Would you reconsider this idea?  @rickatron 

Hello! I opened up a Gainsight support ticket in hopes that they could guide me on why I wasn’t able to remove participants from a Program per the customer’s request.  I was informed that once the participant status changes to “COMPLETED”, we can no longer remove the participants from the participant list, meaning they will continue to receive these emails even though they requested not to receive them.  I asked if there was a way we could change the participant status to “ACTIVE” so we could remove them and I was told this is not a possibility. I feel that as a Gainsight Admin, we should be able to change the participant status in order to remove them per customer requests as needed. 

After setting a global filter with a ‘current user’ option, Gainsight does not allow for an Admin to verify if the filter works correctly for other End Users. Enabling this would allow for much more efficient troubleshooting and delivery from the Admin role.

Hi Team,Bringing this enhancement request on behalf of one of our customers.Currently while filtering on date fields in JO Program query builder, we do not have an option called “Next Fiscal Quarter” in the available options drop down.  Similar to which we have in report builder. Could you please let us know if this is already in our road map? If yes, client wanted to know which quarter is this planned to be released? Thank you!

In report builder you have a lot of power to set attributes shown in the drill down report but it requires choosing the fields each time. It would be a big time save if you could choose the fields per object and each time you build a report off the object it gave you the fields as a starting place and you can then amend from there: 

Hello team,As pre the current design, when a JO program run fails, the admin gets notified of the failure. But we get feedback from customers that it's not very good user experience. It should be similar to Rule failures where you can designate who get the failure/success notifications.

We have multiple teams using Gainsight Timeline and they all love to use Sally to submit new activities. If the team was able to @mention or tag other Gainsight users when creating the Timeline activity in Sally, this would save us the additional steps of having to log into Gainsight and manually tag the other user when we need to collaborate.

My CSMs are loving the calendar integration, and are finding it a great time saver.   One thing that has been suggested that would help make it even better would be the ability for the CSM to filter out meetings that they don’t want to see there.  For example, recurring internal team meetings.

This is a small thing, but whenever you run a Data Design job it sends an email notifying you of Success or Failure. There is a large graphic of a man holding a chart that takes up most of the real estate on the email. I have to scroll down a good distance just to get to the results of the actual job. Could this graphic be removed from the message so that I can actually see the message I need to view rather than this huge graphic?

Our email signatures contain images for each social media platform. These come through Gainsight Assist Outlook as attachments. Can the number of supported attachments be increased as I’m sure many other companies have image links for social for their company? 

Hello Team,Some of the customers are trying to build the report on polymorphic fields but in gainsight we never supported lookup search on polymorphic fields example like owner ID.Also child field in show me, group by, or filters by looking up through the polymorphic field are not working.Please consider this as an enhancement request and make it available for customers in future.

We love the “old” emoji style that we used to have in the text editor. It is still in use in the private messages and this is a request to get it back to all text editors And by old style I mean these: Lovely style, isn’t it! 

We’re implementing the Success Plans in my company.We’d like to share objectives and tasks to our customers directly from GS product, but today it requires to send automatic email each time we assigned them something. It’s really annoying for them as they already receive emails from us, we don’t want them to be spammed (especially with from a tool they don’t know and on which it’ll be difficult for them to onboard (we have old customers).Thanks team.

Under the Reports section in the new C360 beta layout, there is a search field that lists all of the different reports that are added to the section. Having this same type of functionality for other sections that contain groups would be nice to prevent scrolling down the page. Making this feature available for the Attributes section would be beneficial. Since you are able to add multiple groups, once each group is named and fields are assigned, the search list will populate each group name accordingly. For example:* New Attributes section is created and named Company Detail* There are 10 groups added and named respectively* Each group has x number of fields related to the group* The search option would display similarity to the Reports search option So, under Company Detail, the following search options would display:** Account Team** Company Summary** Company Indicators** Demographics** Core Products Owned** Ignite Upgrade Details** DataTrak Details** Milestone Dates** Hierarchy Count

The term “relationship” means nothing to most of our end users, so I’d rather replace that term with our own terminology. I can do this in a few places, such as the C360 relationship section and in reports, but there are many areas in the product where I have no control, and it’s frustrating, including:  “Relationship 360” banner in the top left of any R360 “Relationship Name” - this is not editable in either the relationship card or list view in the C360 section “Search Companies and Relationships” search bar at the top of Gainsight Basically we as admins should be able to change “relationship” in any end user facing capacity. Until that happens, our training and enablement team and admin team have to spend unnecessary time and energy explaining what “relationship” means to our end users.

While I can do extremely basic HTML, I often struggle with it, and end up having to ask for help for something that is very simple for others to do. However inSided have quick links, which makes my life so much easier! Unfortunately Quick Links are only available on pages, and not as a community sidebar widget, like featured topic etc. I would love to be able to have the opportunity to create vertical quick links on the sidebars for anything temporary.My use case right now is a simple survey link that we’ll host for one week on the community.

Some search bars on the community search only that category, others search globally across the community and federated search. However, the phrase for the placeholder text is the same in all search bars (live.search.placeholder).It would be good to use separate phrases for the placeholder text for these two different experiences. This would allow community managers to customize the placeholder text, manage expectations, and point users to the right place. For example: On global search bars: “Search across community” On category-limited search bars: “Search this category (see search in navigation for global search)”

Right now, we only have a “Moderator Notes” field on the backend. It would be more useful for us to have an activity log where we can add multiple notes/a history of updates and notes. It gets rough having to all share on box and causes extra effort adding timestamps, initials, etc.Additionally, it would be great to have your Zapier integration include an action to write to this activity log, so we can send other updates as context to this thread. For example, we trigger off of a new post, lookup in Zendesk if that person created a ticket in the past couple of days and if yes, update the activity log with the ticket URL. 

Each moderator who leaves a note is individually posting with username, time and date stamp. Longer notes are searchable - The ability to search within specific notes, and across all notes in the community. Filter by newest to oldest moderation notes - Filter by newest “moderator note updated”  Eventually, we want to see a “feed” of the latest moderation notes, if possible.

Lively discussion with lots of back and forth in replies between users is great! Even a bit of debate or healthy argument is fine too. When this kind of discussion happens- the topic ends up being constantly bumped to the top of “recently active” every time a new reply appears.Sometimes those discussions can be heated, have some negative sentiment or other issues that aren’t quite bad enough to warrant enforcement with a topic close or warning but still worth keeping off the top of feeds like “recently active” I need a more nuanced approach to handling these discussions. Right now it feels like all I have are the sledge hammer approaches of closing topics, hiding it in a category with restricted visibility etc.IdeaA way to let users have their debate without constantly jumping to the top of a feed where It doesn’t need to be. On other platforms that I’ve built or bought we’ve called this “sink post” or “debump” or… actually I can’t remember what else it’s been called.DescriptionSomethi

Hi Team,We would like to have an option to change the default language while previewing the Survey design,Customer Use case:Customer is creating a Survey in Japanese language and while previewing, by default it shows English and we have to change the language to Japanese. Since, all of their customers are Japanese, they would like to change default language. 

The fact that the ideas are in boxes make the users having to scroll a lot. Have you considered making quick links into actually labelled links to make more space (rather than the boxes).
