As an admin, it's not intuitive that fields which are configured within the cockpit details configuration page to be non-editable are completely hidden from within the “create CTA” action in rules engine.It would be more intuitive to show all fields that have been added into the cockpit configuration page, but have those that are non-editable to be "greyed out". I understand this would only be developed going forward within Horizon rules.For example, here is our configuration of the CTA Detail View Layout, where you can see a field named Parent Contract Number is configured, but marked to be non-editable:  However, when you are building a rule to create this type of CTA, you don’t have an option to map any value to this field since it’s been marked as non-editable:Instead, it would be more intuitive to see the any field marked to be non-editable within the rule action, but greyed out, with a mention that this field has been configured within the cockpit detail view layout to be non-edi

Right now I get one slack notification per CTA and task however it does not include the name so these all just look like duplicate notifications and this feels like a ton of noise. I got in this example 11 slack notifications for 1 NPS follow up. Either this needs to include the name or even better work more like cockpit and just send one notification for the CTA and then I can click into the tasks in the playbook from there. This is notification overload.   

Hi Team,Customer requested to allow them to update system objects (call to action, timeline) via rules engine. Below is the scenario:They are looking to update around 65k records with a new field tagging on CTAs. Hi Team, When we use date time field in reporting and try to use count distinct function, it doesn’t show results explicitly for the given criteria, reason being, the date time field cannot be aggregated as count distinct of date only. We can however, create another field and load data using formula field for date type of datatype.It would be great if we could get this without making any changes/creating any field, similar to what we have in Excel, etc. where if we have date time field, the count distinct function aggregates data same as the date field and only show the date field.

My customer would like the ability to hide/show specific tabs on the Success Plan section.  For example, hide the Gantt chart or Collaboration tabs so that they don’t become confusing as they don’t exactly fit into their workflow.

Adding onto this idea:We would like to be able to specify it at the objective category level.  Our use case is that we have an objective category called Internal Only.  Would like to be able to make that one not shared by default.

Hi Guys, It would be great if you could add the functionality for us to copy a previous slide on a survey so we dont have to copy the same things out again (especially if we are asking for the same responses but altering the question slightly). E.G.  How do you find the home page?Great, Good, Average Bad? How do you find the Search Page? Great, Good, Average, Bad? at the minute I have create the same thing over and over again whereas a copy and paste would be much more time saving!

We just switched from using Salesforce to Hubspot. We were previously using the Gong integration with Salesforce, but it’s not available with Hubspot yet. 

Per other Gainsight Community feedback (example 1 // example 2), boolean fields displaying as checkboxes are vastly preferred over “true/false.” Please consider reverting the way boolean fields display on the revamped 360 layouts back to the checkbox display, as opposed to “true/false.” Thanks in advance for your consideration

Opportunity: Logging a milestone automatically using Rules Engine is a huge help in streamlining and enhancing the tracking of activities within the Timeline. However, the current limitation of the Notes section as a simple text field is hindering the effectiveness of this feature.  Improved Data Quality: A milestone would contain a lot of information (e.g., project details, dates, comments). Converting the Notes section into a rich text field will allow us to input structured and well-formatted data, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of logged milestones. Enhanced Visibility: Rich text formatting options i.e., bold, italics, bullet points make the logged milestones more visually appealing and comprehensible. This increased clarity will aid in better communication and understanding. Customization: A rich text field offers customization capabilities, allowing users to format their notes according to their specific needs. This flexibility will allow us to highlight and emphasize

In a reply to this idea, @xiaoyu-shen saidcontent helpfulness can be done without logging in And Content Helpfulness votes don’t appear in user data exports or user activities that come through via the Salesforce integration. (Vote for this idea if you’d like to see that added)All this seems to indicate that tracking content helpfulness by user would be a prerequisite to both those ideas. Long term, I’d love to be able to analyze content helpfulness by user roles, whether using the data export or with improvements to dashboards and analytics. 

You can get this via the Topic export, but it’d be so much easier if you could filter the Content Dashboard by Public Tags and then sort by the columns in the table below. For example, Content Helpfulness is not included in the export. Use Case: Building FAQ and popular content lists by tags. 

As we know there is two usecases when post is edited:User edit his/hers post Moderator edit postThere are situations when it is important to know what was edited - what was removed, what was the previous or original version.Additionally: When checking the version history, it would be also helpful to see also who have edited the post.At the moment there is no possibility to check the version history from posts. Only from articles.We used Khoros before inSided. Khoros has this option, hopefully inSided as well in the future. 

Right now, the actions off of an item randomly sort.  When building a complex rule, this makes it very difficult to confirm the run order of the items. It would be great if a) they stayed in the order they would run and b) we were able to change said order after the items are built (like we were able to do in the bionic rules). This seems to be a key component that is missing in the Bionic rules engine.

It would be great if we had consistency within the rules engine.  Example; If I write a case expression with a date, I have to remember that this filter uses last n days. When I filter for an action, I have to remember it is subtract n days from rule run. This makes building more complicated to find the right, and this is within the same tool.

We are only able to map to text fields in the filters on dashboards in GS but I would love to be able to also map to dropdown fields for filters so we are not limited in what we can filter on in there.

It would be fantastic if we could save the mapping we complete for x-org migrations.  That way, if items fail, we are able to edit rather than start over. Use case: Sometimes, you are mapping dozens of fields and items, and this is a time consuming process.  This would allow better pinpointing of errors when applicable.

We love the idea of displaying the customer stage on the journey widget, but we are not able to load the historical date changes. We have not implemented stages until now so the field was blank when we started (which I imagine will be the same for any new Gainsight customer). It would be great if there was a stage history object where we could populate the dates that the stage changed for each customer so the widget could accurately track the true customer lifecycle both pre and post Gainsight implementation. 

Our org uses lots of data designs, maybe too much. We’re going to audit ours so we asked Gainsight support for an export. I think this would be a cool feature to add to your reports, maybe to the Feature Usage object. Having an export of all my data designs, along with all the metadata, will help me manage my Data Designs better. I’m extremely fine with that export delivered through a report.

I would love to leave internal team notes time-stamped in the reply stream so that other community managers can read them within the context of the thread. For example, instead of having notes show up at the top of the screen only, you could scroll through a thread of both replies and internal team notes to understand the chronological evolution of the post. Zendesk does this really nicely in their ticket queue! Here’s a terribly-mocked-up screenshot of what I’m picturing. Hi Team,RD Station‍ has got an use where they are creating a calculated field to calculated the duration between two dates.Here one of the time point is current date which is brought into picture using gstoday function as a result we are having calculated field inside calculated field.When we have this new field in in success plan configuration the Success plan layout is not loading and currently this is not supported.Since this is a valid use case I request product team to check and plan to implement the ability in future releases.    

Hello! I was building out our C360 layout and I was adding in the standard Account NPS Widget. Unfortunately you are not able to filter by fields on the NPS Survey Response object when using the widget. For example, if our company wants to only consider responses from ‘admin’ users using a field on the NPS object, we can’t do that. Having the ability to filter on fields on the NPS Survey Response object would be super helpful! Thanks,Philip Murray

There are several places in Gainsight, such as Connectors and Data Designer, that require an end date when scheduling.  They might also be required when scheduling Participant Lists in Programs.  As an admin, I would prefer to have the end date always be optional.  It is challenging to track when a job stops running and labor intensive to continue logic we have not intentionally stopped.  

HiIs it possible to have to import a CSV to define the audience of an engagement? Or a workaround for this?Use case: The users in PX are created the first time they log into our platform, and we have several FTUs engagements for them. We need to target them with an engagement with a Dialogue but one Engagement should exclude some users based on some attributes. As such, we can’t define the “is not” part of the audience within the platform because the users do not exist in PX, but we can source them from Salesforce. Currently we are exporting the report to a sheet file with a Fx to concatenate the addresses, copy paste from that concatenated cell and define the audience that way. Also, this is limited to x1000 emails, so when that threshold is surpassed, a new step in the audience is needed. We have in the roadmap different FTU engagements according to roles and other criteria, so maintain daily 10x engagements this way is unsustainable.Is there a better way to achieve this use case?Tha
