Hi Product TeamIssue: Ranks were rebuilt but in doing so, triggered an automated email that was set on the ‘New Here’ starter rank to be sent to everyone when they next logged in. Request for feature change: Add a tooltip on the rebuild notification to suggest to turn off all email notifications on ranks before rebuilding.
Hello team, Hopefully we can enhance the current security feature for shared reports. We found out that even if you share a report to specific users, once anyone got access to the shared report link. They can access and view all the data and information even if they’re not on the Users list access (even users outside of your company). This is a bit concerning as we cannot remove the possiblity of Human error accidentally sharing a report link that contains critical information of the company. Hopefully this is something we can add/enhance quickly. Thank you!
Ideation permissions are binary, “all or nothing” permissions to view, create, reply, and vote. I’d love to see options to customize each of those (or at least view vs create vs reply) similar to community category permissions.
We really like the idea of the folder view and restricting templates to Gainsight Assist. However we are finding that the template folder still shows in Gainsight Assist, even if none of the templates in the folder are available to users in Gainsight Assist. This causes confusion for our users as they are seeing internal and admin folders that are only used for storing JO and Email Assist/Playbook templates. When the users click on these nothing shows so they think there is an issue with the plug-in.In the screenshot below, the only folder we want CSMs to see is the CSMs folder:
Community users should not only be linked to Person / Company Person / Company, but also to Relationship and Relationship Person. Our customers are managed at the Relationship level, so we need to be able to add reports to R360, add scorecard measures for Community on Relationship level… Currently, the only option to do this is via additional custom objects and fields.
When I create a Real Time rule using the Call to Action Topic, I am only able to go one level down on lookups in the Actions. Example, I want to pull in the Call to Action → Owner → Manager → Slack User ID. But I can only go as far as Call to Action → Owner → ManagerBut in regular Rules, I can pull in fields from 2 layers down: Why does RT rules only allow you to go one layer deep?
Hi @aharkut I’ve created this feature request idea on community for [Engagements] Support for "injection" position type for Badge to share with the customer to have the visibility. Context: The badge position type is supported for Fixed and Absolute, but not for injected When there’s quick changes on the UI, Fixed and Absolute position types hinder the badge from dis-appearing faster along with the UI element To fix this case, we need to support injected position type
Hi there,It’s actually our community member’s idea. You can see the reasoning here - https://community.miro.com/got-a-question-ask-the-community-45/how-do-i-delete-private-messages-2613
Use CaseWe want to send renewal emails to customers with a profile picture of the account manager on the email so it feels more personalized. Currently, there is no native way to do this using Gainsight’s email template editor Expected OutcomeAdd the ability to insert a token to the image URL on emails. This token can then be configured to read from a data object Current WorkaroundInsert a token into the email, copy the reference code and paste it as the image source url within the HTML of the email
Currently, there is no way to save Mass Edit views when reassigning/updating CTAs. We do CTA cleanup and reassignment on a regular basis and it would be a big time saver if we could save specific views so that we don’t have to recreate them each time.
In Salesforce you just separate values with a comma when using Includes, but it doesn't seem possible in Gainsight. Instead, I have to have a separate filter for each value I'd like to include which complicates the advanced logic string when I should be able to just include them in a single filter. For example, I want to deliver an email variant based on country. If it's not a picklist, I have to write: (A) Country = USA (B) Country = UK (C) Country = AUS (D) Country = NZ A OR B OR C OR D Instead, I should be able to write (A) Country includes USA,UK,AUS,NZ In this example, it's quadruple the work for each template that has this filter; add on any additional filtering and it becomes cumbersome pretty quick. Is there any way to include multiple values when the field is not a picklist? I've tried contains, comma, comma and a space, semicolon, semicolon and a space, and Gainsight converts it to = after saving (ie, Country = ('USA,UK,AUS,NZ') ), but it does not work.
We finally received the Cheat Sheet for R360 in Summer 2024 - after implementation, we are now learning that Timeline Activities added on a Risk CTA are not considered for updates on the R360 Cheat Sheet. I raised the issue to support who stated that Timeline Activities for a Risk CTA ARE included on the C360 Cheat Sheet, but NOT included on the R360 Cheat Sheet. We use Risk CTA Timeline for updates to risks - as we should, but those notes are not making it through to the R360 Cheat Sheet. We use the R360 Cheat Sheet to inform leadership of Risk Management activities. I cannot understand why the criteria regarding what timeline entries should be considered for Cheat Sheet updates would be different between the C360 and R360 - but believe they should be the same.
As an Admin, I want the ability to control which relationship types my users can create, edit, and/or delete, on a per relationship type basis so that I can manage the UX of Relationship CRUD actions without impacting the data structure. Currently, as far as I can tell, if you use Relationships and have these settings enabled on the C360: this applies to all relationships and cannot be applied to specific types. For example, when on the relationship section on the C360 here: uses will see ALL relationship types. There does not appear to be a way to change what shows up as an option aside from deleting the entire relationship type. So, in order to have a clean use experience, you have to destroy data which is not a very good approach.Because this is controlled at the C360 level, there isn’t any configurability that is relevant on any given Relationship type itself. Please give admins more control over how our users can interact with Relationship records on a per Relationship type basis, without requiring us to delete data in the process. Without it, it presents challenges to data preservation, makes migrating types harder, or even having more than one type of Relationship in general.
Issue: PX currently supports CSV export for in-app and survey engagement analytics but lacks this functionality for email engagement analytics (e.g., Engagement Summary and CTA Analytics). It is not currently possible to export any data associated with PX email engagements. This limitation and gap creates challenges in sharing performance data with stakeholders who may not have PX licenses or are not familiar with the platform.Suppose you want to launch a survey via PX and, based on the survey responses, send a follow-up email engagement related to a current marketing initiative. Unless the entire marketing team and all internal stakeholders are licensed for PX, they cannot view the analytics for this email engagement. Many organizations, including mine, prefer to export engagement data to CSV format for further review and analysis in platforms like Excel, Google Sheets, or Tableau. This enables teams to share and preserve these metrics for users who are not familiar with the PX platform, as well as for licensed PX users who may need a different perspective on the data. It allows these users and relevant stakeholders to evaluate or manipulate the data in various ways. Proposed Changes: It would be extremely helpful for Gainsight to introduce a feature to facilitate the export of email engagement analytics (i.e., Engagement Summary and CTA Analytics) directly to CSV, similar to the existing export options for in-app and survey engagement performance. Addressing this gap in feature alignment would ensure consistency across all engagement types, making it easier for teams to report on performance and share data with stakeholders who lack PX access/familiarity. Exporting email engagement data would improve transparency, enable long-term data preservation, and support more efficient analysis of campaign performance.Additionally, PX could optimize the export functionality further by addressing the related idea: Remove the 10k Record Limit for PX Exports. While these are distinct feature requests, implementing both would significantly enhance the PX data export capabilities, offering greater flexibility and comprehensive access to engagement analytics for users managing large-scale data exports.
Would it be possible to add the option to show the excact time of a reply on Destination? Right now it says how many minutes, days, months or years ago it was. But there are moments where the exact time is interesting to see. For example: on our forum we are there as moderators, but there are also other people from the organisation. Sometimes they need to look into something aswel, but they can't see the exact timestamp. They can ask us for it of course, but that's an extra step that isn't needed. Adding the exact timestamp would make that easier.I don't think this is a big change, since the data is already exists. It's just how it is shown on Destination. I imagine some others don't want to see it this way, so maybe it could be made optional with a setting in Control.
Issue: Currently, PX restricts analytics exports to a maximum of 10k records, which results in data loss for engagements exceeding this limit. This limitation is problematic for organizations like ours, where not all users are PX-licensed or familiar with the platform. We rely on exporting engagement data to share, preserve, and manage it as needed, and the current cap undermines the utility of the export feature.Proposed Change: Eliminate the 10k record limit for exports, allowing users to export complete engagement/analytics datasets without truncation.Removing the export limit ensures full data availability, which is essential for accurate reporting, stakeholder accessibility, and long term data preservation. This enhancement would better support organizations (like ours) that depend on exports to manage and analyze engagement performance at scale.
We’d like to use the dynamic content widget to highlight posts in need of a reply. The widget currently allows you to feature posts with unanswered questions, but that shows posts with replies that haven’t been marked as the best answer. That is not as helpful as highlighting posts in need of true engagement.
[Posting on behalf of customer] When viewing the Details view of a specific Person record from the People Tab of a C360, if the field editability is not enabled for the given field, it is not possible to highlight the text due to it being overtaken by a gray box (and, therefore, cannot be copied from this pane): While it is possible to copy un-editable fields from the List View of the same page, this requires extra steps for the end user which may result in their losing their place It would be great to be able to highlight/copy even the fields that are not editable from the Detail View of the Person Tab of the C360. Thanks!
We have a requirement from a customer, they want to exclude all churned accounts while creating CTAs, Success Plans, Activities and Setting Scores through Rules or Manually. There should be a Feature ( can be enabled or disabled as required ) which can mask Churned accounts while performing the above operations. From data perspective too, this would be best as it would eliminate storing unnecessary data and customer gets more accurate visualisation and insights.
