If you enable “Associated Persons” on CTAs, it shows up on every CTA the same way, and appears to basically be configured at a global level and just looks like this on the layout:Admins should have the ability to configure the label and placement (at all) but especially on a Per CTA Layout basis like we can pretty much everything else.Admins need the flexibility to support business workflows - which include relatively small things like labels. We need to be able to bring our users along for the journey we’re building for them, and Gainsight makes that challenging to do across the platform in many areas.
We can calculate days between Date fields today in a Transformation task. Would be great to be able to calculate hours between two Date/Time fields.
At my place of employment, we have customer ‘entities’ that are basically top-level Parent Companies and they each have their own C360/Company record.I would like to see a Mass Edit or tabular/grid report of all the children company records that align to that Parent Company record (or Entity).Either that or the ability to add a Scorecard report with the nice visualizations in the same manner you would add a report in a Reports section where you can choose an associated field.
We’re starting to use Text Analytics more, and we’re running into a bit of an issue when trying to view the NPS details by Role.We use a custom field for Role because we are mapping it over from the Account Related Contacts in SFDC where the role field is multi-select whereas the OOTB GS Roles are single select. We’d like the ability to point the Roles option to a custom field instead of the OOTB field.
I’d like the easy auto-complete experience of @ mentioning a user when I’m writing an email campaign, as well as the auto-linking to their user profile. Obviously, it shouldn’t trigger the @ mention system email, but I think other elements of the experience should be at feature with topic creation and moderation. Use case: Shouting out or even just mentioning users in a newsletter or email campaign. Leaderboards, recent badges, user spotlights, super users, quotes etc, etc, etc, etc.
Now that customers can delete their own records out of the Company and Relationship objects, I'd like to see us develop an enhanced recycle bin that will allow customers to recover scorecard and timeline data for a certain period of time (say, 30 days) before the data gets hard deleted. Right now, it's a cumbersome process for all parties (customers, Gainsight support, CSMs, etc.) to restore any accidentally deleted data.
Associated Records is cool (for users, not reporting T_T) but if you forget to tag something it is pretty annoying to fix.If you have this setting turned on:in CTA (or anywhere else you had the option) there should be a button in the UI you can click to associate a Timeline entry to the CTA record you are on without having to open the Timeline entry, edit it and all that noise. This way, if a CSM or other user created a Timeline entry at the Global level on accident and found themselves looking at the CTA later but didn’t see the entry there, they could just toggle the global timeline on the CTA, find the entry, click the Associate to Current CTA button, and away you go.This saves them clicks and doesn’t force them to navigate around to other menus.
I’m not sure if this is the same as this post here: or not, or this would be considered an enhancement to it.I know we have this setting in Cockpit admin: This essentially lets you turn the Timeline on CTA into the Company/Relationship level timeline. Wonderful. The problem is that this is at the global level, and may not be particularly desirable by everyone.I would like an easy filter/toggle at the CTA level somewhere here:so that users can easily filter out noise if they just want to see records created on the CTA and/or Associated to the CTA from elsewhere.
We noticed that the logos of our customers pull into our CTAs but do not appear with Tasks. Steps: I go to the "Cockpit" view, filter to "My Tasks", and customers that have a logo are not showing that logo in the Task List.
I want to be able to use the filter of the last 4 sundays or the last 3 mondays, etc, instead of last 4 weeks, last month, etc. This will help define what days I want it to capture when creating formulas.
When you have a dual data Source with Horizontal bar graph, the Primary X-Axis (bottom) is the first data source and the Secondary X-Axis (top) is the second data source. However, the top BAR in the displayed data is the first data source, and the bottom bar is the second data source. For reference, if using a vertical bar graph for the same report, the Primary Y-Axis (left) is the 1st data source, and the Secondary Y-Axis (right) is the second data source, and the bars are 1st data source bar is on the left (next to the correct scale) and the 2nd data source bar is on the right (next to the correct scale). Recommendation is to SWAP the Primary and Secondary X-Axis Labels to match the order of the displayed data…. Primary on top and Secondary on Bottom when using a Horizontal Bar Graph.
When sharing a Success plan with external people, the view that admins are able to create are only for CTAs (i.e My CTAs, All CTAs..) and not for tasks.I think it would be very useful if we are able to create views for tasks too - if CTAs are owned by our CSMs, the customer is forced to go inside every CTA and see if it has any task assigned.Thank you.
The merge for the data designer has a limit of 50 show fields. Is there a way to increase this? We're trying to create a report from two SFDC objects and need 40+ fields on each object.
Hi Team, Waterfall Graph is required in report builder since it is useful in many business scenarios. If it’s already there, guide me how to make a graph like the one below or please consider this as enhancement request .
We have run into this issue in Reports and Adoption Explorer, it is not clear that the “Company Time Series Daily” Object and other Daily objects from PX, only store data for 90 days, and that you have to use Weekly objects if you need data prior to 90 days. This issue has caused users and management to question data integrity, when it was something that was easily avoided. To emphasize that this is an issue that even the GS team has limited experience on, we had a ticket open about this topic for over a month with 5 different support reps responding that they were searching for the answer. My request is that there be a pop-up or some form of very clear communication to the limitations of certain data objects, both on the reporting side as well as in AE and what our end users see. Of course, I would prefer if the data was aggregated forever but that feels like a much bigger ask than just a notification.
Trying out the Gainsight Zoom Marketplace app and using Timeline is a breeze, but I think the participant adding experience could be improved. The idea, as I understand, behind getting Person records up front in the app, is so that you can easily associate them with a Company/Relationship, or create (a) new Person record(s) if there’s a guest. The workflow though seems to only work in a very specific circumstance - if the invited users are logged into their Zoom account when they join the meeting.(Note: I’m not really sure how much it matters if they were invited directly vs were forwarded or used a meeting code but that’s a bit out of scope. Otherwise, you see this message:Help text from the barely visible ‘i’ icon on the rightWhat’s more confusing, is that if you mouse over the ‘i’, you see this text: The problem, is that there’s no apparent way to add these people. If it’s a net new Person, you can’t manually input an email address so the integration doesn’t help you. You’d have to just note them down in a Timeline entry note and go back and add them manually later. If it’s an existing person who just wasn’t logged in, or maybe dialed in, the only way to meaningfully add or interact with them as a person to the call is to create a timeline entry and manually look them up. It would be great if the workflow was more streamlined, regardless of how your meeting attendees joined the meeting. For example, having the plus button appear for any participant so you could modify details if you needed to.As it stands, I can see this being a frustrating experience for end-users who will be trying to use this feature and either not understand why it isn’t working how they expect and log a ticket with my team, or require extensive documentation and training for what should be a relatively simple feature.
After a user created a poll, he realised that one of his options was missing. There seems to be no way to add it for him even in control. (Caveat: I also can’t see a way to remove an option, which the feature description thread seems to imply you can do...) It would also be good to allow someone to edit their own poll without access to control.
Ability to link directly to training events (right now, we can only link to date-specific sessions). Using a link to the session becomes quickly outdated as soon as the session date passes. This is problematic when including training events in customer onboarding documentation or other promotional collateral.
