Events are missing the quick link at the top of Control that opens the public URL in a new tab. It seems every other content type has this, but not Events. Use case: Editing events to check updates or that what you published looks as intended.
Our team loves the Gantt charts for success plans, but you can only view 1 company at a time! We want the functionality to view success plan objectives and tasks across multiple companies in the Gantt chart view so that we can strategically plan and resource.
Can we please add the functionality of Using Query Builder to fetch participants in the recently released JO program?
We want to be able to set a default value for ‘Activity Type’ in hte Gainsight Assist Outlook plug-in.Ideally, it would always default to Email. If the feature can’t be setup to do this natively, we want there to be a means for us to set it within our org specifically.Currently, it appears to randomly pick 1 of the active Activity Type values we have in Timeline Settings.
While logging emails using Outlook plugin,We have a few requests that the default activity type should be set to Email as stated in document.https://share.zight.com/YEuJBLq2Doct: https://support.gainsight.com/Gainsight_NXT/Email_Assist/Outlook_Add-in/Gainsight_Assist_Outlook_Add-in_User_Guide#Prerequisites We have been suggested to raise community post for the use case to be taken up as enhancement.
I did some field descriptions updates via Data Management and realized when hovering over them the tooltips where showing the old one. I submitted a ticket about this issue almost 3 months ago, and after a lot of back-and-forth trying to figure out what the issue was the response I just got is ”Currently the functionality is that when ever a field is added to a report builder and saved the report metadata is saved in a collection at backend and description field data also saves as part of the metadata.”. TLDR: Is intended behaviour and not a bug, please submit a feature request. The only way to make these updates visible in a report is to delete the field from the show me section and re-add it after each description update. Which by the way, unless you are the person doing the update you have to guess when happened, because the last modified on is not a field in data management either 😓 (Idea related to that →).
Slack has a built-in workflow builder that allows users to create specific automations quickly and easily. One of the workflow builder options is to allow action to take place in a 3rd party app. However, Gainsight is not one of the OOTB capabilities. I’m guessing this is some sort of enhancement that has to be made by Slack but I’m posting here since it impacts me as a Gainsight user and admin. It’s possible to create custom apps for Slack that can be used in workflow builder but it would convenient to have some abilities without having to dev a custom app. For example, the Salesforce option in Workflow builder allows for the creation or update of records.A use case I can see is the ability to have a CSM complete a form that then is sent to Gainsight in a custom object that the rules engine can process.
Hi Team, I want to migrate 48 Email Templates which are in part of specified 6 folders. I had to search and select each and every email template out of all email templates. Instead if we have folders visibile over in cross org migration tool we can directly find folders and migrate.
Hello Team,We’ve got a request from customer, if we can have same way of searching for Lookup fields in the reporting, even in the Token Mapping section in Playbook as well, as it would be a easy way of searching the fields.https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuPpo0m
Hey Everybody, We're currently conducting a small pilot with Ideation. One of the things we've noticed is that users want to receive updates when the status of an idea has changed. Which makes sense, right? You want to know what's happening with the idea you've voted for. Therefore, It would be great if users would get an e-mail when (a certain) status is reached. How do you guys feel about this? Greetings, Thomas
We've been testing out granting a rank to users who have logged in twice but not posted yet as a way to send those people an email encouraging them to make their first post in the community. We've gone from 13% to 20% of people who have made at least one post so this is great! I'd love to be able to send more messages targeted in this way, but without having to set up a rank for all of them.
It would be so great to have a “Total” somewhere visible in the Renewals and Re-Rates section, as in how much $ total is out of term, coming out of term etc. There is a list of expired products, but unless we export the report there is no tally of the total (unless I am blind and don’t see it). Would be useful while on a customer call to be able to click over to Renewals and see the total out of term in a box somewhere on the page and be able to quickly provide that info 😊
Custom Pages:We have over 100 customer pages, so there should be a way to categorize them better Customer Pages should be part of a category Custom Pages should be assigned 1+ roles/custom roles (This might exist today)
I love having the capability of doing this using Rules Engine… But what is the point of having to select the CTA Type if we only want to update the ownership of the CTA and we are already using the CTA GSID as an identifier?I understand that there is the possibility that we want to update other fields with different values such as the Reason, Playbook, etc. and they are dependencies of the CTA Type, but making the type mandatory means that if we only want to update the Owner we need to create one branch for each CTA Type.Could it be a solution that if the CTA Type is null, to gray out the dependencies? Or maybe a separate option above to update only the CTA Owner?
Greetings team, When running the jobs within the Salesforce Connector to Gainsight, we receive emails when records are successfully updated, failed to update, etc. However, I receive many emails about records that were ignored by the SFDC_Account job within the Connector (presumably because they fall outside of the filters that we have configured). After conversing with Gainsight Support, it seems as though there is no way to ‘turn off’ the emailed notification for these ignored records. Can this be explored?
Currently, there isn’t a way to hide the match criteria banner when adding a new person record. As this match criteria message doesn’t mean anything to the end user, it would be great to either remove this message or provide an option for the admin to hide/show this for the users.
We are using Relationships to differentiate between products and in our case also the CS team working with the customer. Therefore, our team should always log activities on the Relationship Timeline instead of the Company Timeline. Sometimes, that goes wrong and currently, the only solution is to recreate the Activity on the Relationship Timeline and delete the one on the Company Timeline. It would be great if the Activities could be moved, for example by updating the Related to field of the Activity.
Hi All,It seems that we CANNOT use tokens in the “section” component of surveys. Can we please make them available from the section too?Considering a survey that is Semi-Anonymous or Non-Anonymous automatically has a link to the company or company person object, I don’t see why we could not add tokens to section.Use case:Personalizing the survey as a whole and not just the question - for example; greeting them as if they were on their own little portal. It is awkward to say “Hi @first name” in the question. This would be better in a section.I believe that would be easy enough to implement, so can we please have this? Thanks!
It would be amazing if Segments showed % change vs previous period like is often shown in analytics dashboards. For exampleThese metrics: With added context on the change vs previous period like this: Use Cases:Segments that change over time based on date data (ex.registration or activity) Segments based on greater/less than engagement criteria (ex. Posts / Answers are greater/less than)
