Is there way to export following data:Users, who have earned points (list of usernames) How many points user have earned (points/username) Total number of how many users have earned pointsAll data in given timeframe. Here´s example: Nickname Points 1 Userabc 123 2 Userxyz 101 With this kind of export I can see that there are 2 users who have earned points. Can I have somehow this kind of export from Control?
In Rules Engine and Data Designer transformation steps, I can transform a DateTime field to a Date field using a “Date” formula: This capability should exist in Data Management as well, so that I am not forced to create a custom Rule/DD just for this purpose.
Would it be possible to update the Gmail Email Plugin so that when a user selects the 'log to timeline' checkbox and a contact they are emailing is not in the Company Person object to show a prompt to enable them to select a company? This would help my customers with data integrity.
Having Due Dates be in DateTime format is curious to me. I can’t think of a reason anyone would ever need to know the exact time that a record is due -- and I think Gainsight knows this too, otherwise why would they display them as Date only in the UI? -- so why are Due Dates a DateTime field format vs. Date? This present an irksome issue when exporting things like Success Plan objectives in a Success Snapshot. No CSM or Customer is ever going to care that the Due Date 4/1/2024 at precisely 6:30 AM:So this forces CSMs to have to go through each row and manually remove the time value from each Due Date field.Especially when I have no way of creating a custom field for this purpose without using the API.

This may have been asked previously (over a year ago, probably for the old editor -- and not acknowledged), but is there a reason that tokens in the new Horizon email templates are not affected by the text formatting options in the main editor toolbar, and instead have their own formatting options? (screenshot below)In particular, the “Font Weight” formatting option seems like a glaring omission. If we want to make a token bold after the email has already been created and we’ve begun testing it (mapped) in the program, we have delete the text, re-tokenize it, and re-map it. For token heavy emails where we may want to emphasize a string of text that contains multiple tokens, this becomes tedious very quickly. (ex: “… {{company}} has {{# of credits}} credits that will expire on {{Month DD, YYYY}}...”)If we want to make that entire line bold, we have to delete all three tokens, add them back again, make the sentence bold in the email formatting editor, re-tokenize those tokens, update the type (number, date format), and then re-map them in the program.TL/DR: Whichever option is easier (either allowing tokens to be affected by the general formatting toolbar or adding a “font weight” option to the “token formatting” style menu), could we please get this added in a future release? 🙏Screenshot of Token Formatting options
User management:When working with user management I have a separate Excel file with notes about Users i have added to the system. It would be nice to have a custom field where I can enter this information.
I came across this idea while on a support call earlier today. As a troubleshooting step, I was asked if I knew the last time one of our C360 sections was updated, and I unfortunately didn’t know the answer. We don’t track dates of when updates were last made to C360 sections, and I’m not the only user in our company with super admin privileges, so multiple people could be making multiple updates per day. This got me thinking. Could there be a section added to the C360 configuration page that shows the date the admin last updated any of the given C360 sections, including the admin’s name? This would be helpful for C360 config troubleshooting issues with support (so end users can provide support with a general timeframe to reference), plus it would be nice to natively track this in Gainsight. Not to mention, there is plenty of unused space on this page to use up!I’ve included a rough screenshot below of how I’ve envisioned this to look. Thanks for your consideration!
Background: Funnels are great for understanding (and acting on) dropoffs in vital processes, and help us to understand where to focus our adoption efforts. Engagements are an excellent tool for bridging those gaps. Instead of using a long Engagement to walk users through each step of a lengthy process, stationing a short Engagement at a specific chokepoint can help people where they’re most likely to need it.Problem: There’s no quick way to target users who’ve dropped out of a funnel. You need to use a combination of Product Map rules that look something like this: User used feature A (funnel step 1) in last 2 days User used feature B (funnel step 2) more than 2 days agoThis workaround targets users who’ve used one feature but not another, and we can generally take that as a proxy for starting a process but not ending it. However, this doesn’t account for cases in which someone went on to complete the funnel later that day (so less than 2 days ago), and also doesn’t allow sequencing of any of the other funnel step types (segment matches, custom events, etc.)Request: Segment Engagements based on whether or not a user has started or completed a funnel. This would make it much easier to act on the insights gleaned from funnels, and improve the end user experience by directly targeting users we know need more help. Design ideas: I believe we can approach this in two ways (the first being a bit easier to implement):Treat a funnel like a Guide: select the funnel you want to segment by, and specify whether the user needs to have viewed (started) or completed it Treat it like a Multi-Question Survey: allow the user to select the specific step someone needs to have completed (or dropped off at) to be included in this segment
Users complain the X close button in the KC bot is too small and they are having a hard time closing it. Please allow me the ability to set a size for the close button. Alos, allow me to set its color as well.
Currently you can only branch/add logic to survey questions. We have a use case where the section at the top is specific to a country. That section gives an intro to the survey. Ideally, we could create one survey with one section per country and then just branch to show a single section based on the country (Relationship field). This would allow for 28 surveys to turn into 1!
We are looking for a way to give our Partners access to our quarterly success review powerpoint decks. The partner can then use the deck to conduct QSRs and feedback via the Gainsight account widget in timeline. The widget sits in our ‘Partner Portal’. My idea is to use JO to send out decks by leveraging Success Snapshots. Can I ask as a product enhancement there is an integration between the 2 in order to do this?
Some of our comments are to be restricted to 256 characters due to limit on where these comments are sent to. Can we display character counts that get updated as we type
Wondering if anyone has worked with Aha! and Gainsight. It looks like they have an integration with SF, and was wondering if anyone had successfully used SF as a bridge between GS and Aha! We have a product feedback process in Timeline in GS, and are looking for a way to get that data into Aha! Thanks!
We’ve love to have the ability to report on the original owner of a CTA in report builder, like you can with ‘Original Due Date’. This would be beneficial to have as part of troubleshooting efforts, especially with CTA execution logs limited to 30 days.Use Case:A CSM submitted a ticket this morning for two CTAs that appeared in their Cockpit this morning, despite having a due date of December 2023. I can see that the CTA was modified today (and the name of who did it), but was not able to see who originally had ownership as the account transitioned through a handful of owners over the last couple of months due to paternity leaves. While we were able to solve it by checking Salesforce for when the account ownership changed, and then cross check that with the creation date in Gainsight, it added additional steps where this could’ve been solved with just one field.
Excel downloads of reports do NOT handle field types properly.Gainsight Date fields are exported as Text Integers are also exported as Test (for example: “Count of”) Avg. NPS somehow is exported as a Number My first question is obviously: WHY?My second question is that this be fixed and the Excel conversion mechanisms better handles the source data type to format it into a similar Excel format instead of converting everything as stringsWe need these files to be formatted correctly in Excel exports, as it takes a significant amount of time cleaning them up. @rakesh
We use Adobe Experience Manager. If there was an integration for this, we would not have to come up with a strategy with weblinks to connect to our KC bot in our application. Using weblinks will be time consuming and not as friendly way for our customers to navigate the KC Bot
It would be great is the rules engine supported the function of allowing filtering on information for “since last run” when running the rules engine. Use case:(Note: we do currently have workarounds, but this would be a more streamlined and efficient practice) I want to run all data that has been updated on this object in Salesforce since the last time the rule has run. There are a few key advantages to this over using timing:You could exclude certain time periods without needing to create an update to the rule. For example, you could run on weekdays only, and the information that was changed since last run would still pick up. Sometimes we have rule failures, usually do to timeouts during updates. This would allow us to be able to pick up where we left off. Sometimes rules are very time intensive and this would make the run process more effective and efficient.
My team is often asked to make adjustments and enhancements to our dashboards on the fly.Because many in our organization like to review the dashboards, if something is not behaving to their expectations, they ping our team and we have to stop to answer. The interim solution for this is to use the Rich Text Widget and place a banner at the top, but it’s not terribly elegant. It would be great if there was some sort of tick box or banner enablement button in the Dashboard Builder that we are able to switch on and alert our team(s) that we are working on improvements.
Raising this as a product idea/request as it doesn’t seem to be getting any attention alongside the original discussion:My personal use case is needing to have a case expression return a date value so that it can used as the filter criteria of a subsequent task in Rule Setupe.g. If Override Date != NULL, filter records by Override Date, else filter records by Original Date
Hi Team, Currently the only text field options within Timeline are String fields which are limited to 255 characters. Our CSM is running into issues with this limit. Can this either be increased to a higher character count limit or can we add the ability to use a rich text field type? Thanks!
