I should be able to link my managers and executives to Gainsight dashboards. My leadership team struggles to leverage and adopt Gainsight because they cannot easily find and navigate to what they need. When they discovered that there was no way to send a link to a dashboard they were shocked as this is a pretty basic function of most tooling. Having my C-levels underwhelmed with the tool is sad for all of us.
Hi everyone,We feel that it would be really great if you would make it possible to preview guide engagements starting from any step of the same guide. In the current setup, each time that we want to preview our guides, we need to go back to the starting page (on which the starting step is mapped).I believe that we’ve all went through some fights with our guide engagements as well as we all lost our heads at least once while trying to find out “why is it breaking here?”. It’s a learning process. But this learning process and the customer experience as such would be way better if we would be able to fix the problematic step and then to relaunch the guide to continue walking us through from that exact step which we fixed to the last step of the guide. There is also the use case when you are presenting to your internal teams the guide which you just made. And imagine that, unexpectedly, the guide breaks somewhere in the middle during this presentation. You would probably unlink the problematic element and then link it in on the intended page element in some more suitable way, while apologizing to the audience. At this point, you’d probably like to continue your presentation from that step forward. The only thing is that… you can’t - you need to go back to the start and only then the preview will work :)
Hi Guys, It might just be me, but I seem to struggle with amending previously created buttons. I currently have to go into the coding side and amend colours etc - and the dropdown options aren’t too helpful. is there any way you can bring more options to the drop down to help me quickly amend buttons? if it is at all possible to anchor a button over the top of an image (so we can have custom backgrounds on dialog engagements) that would be amazing!
Submitting this on behalf of the customer: The latest enhancement of the user activity page looks pretty good. However, if we have Expand All and Collapse All options it would be easy for search on that page.
We all spend lots of time on creating the perfect content, presentation, and experience of in-app Engagements and we expect them to help near 100% of our targeted users to become more informed, efficient, effective, and productive. However, no matter how much we try to put the engagement in the right place at the right time, many other factors ... like the user needing to get something else done right away ... the user not having time to focus on this engagement opportunity ... will affect whether a user actually starts and completes the in-app Engagement Slider or Guide. To align more closely to the "Timely" component of our “TRUSt Framework”, adding the option for the user to snooze and/or remind them later about an important Engagement that has been offered would be very helpful in increasing the Engagement completion rates and value. This enhancement would match perfectly to our promise that "The Engagements are presented based on the user’s timing, not ours." We see this type of option in many other familiar applications, such as Slack below: What do you all think about this enhancement request? We would love to hear your feedback. @ciarapeter @mickey
Global Context is a great idea but it would be much more useful to be able to use it in the Query Builder, in the Audience Explorer (view it in Recent Activity Details), or in Engagement Analytics. What are the plans to expose this valuable information throughout the product?
If you accidentally drag the help icon outside the viewport, there is no way to bring it back. Tried to refresh the page and cache. It still is outside the viewport.
Posting on behalf of a customer:Currently, there is no limit to prevent the KCB from being dragged completely off screen the Bot behaviour with draggable enabled for reference https://share.getcloudapp.com/KouJBXG1. When this happens we either have to zoom out or re-login to view the Bot.It would be helpful if there was a limit to prevent KCB being dragged off completely.
Posting on behalf of a customer: As a user, I would like the ability to make “View or Complete Engagement” as a type of step in the Funnel Report. Seeing the ability to have the Path Analyzer start/end with an engagement made me want to do something similar in the Funnel report. I would like to see a more simple version in Funnel report where I can tell what % of users made it from “View engagement” to “feature 1” to “feature 2”.
Feature Match dropdown menu is too small to show longer strings. I cannot expand it and there is no hover to display hidden text. Given the naming structure of our product features, I can no longer use Funnels with this new September’22 update.
Hi Everyone, We have some tools that we have integrated with Gainsight PX and we wanted to look at possibly sending an ‘end of contract’ email to them alerting them of their account closure/access removal. We aren’t currently able to differentiate users from an active/inactive status within Gainsight (say for example a user has left the company and does not need access - Gainsight has no way for us to opt them out).If we could upload a userlist of active users from our tool to Gainsight PX, it could help us target the right people and avoid confusion of people getting irrelevant emails (or spam). I understand we can copy and paste individual names into the audience tab when using the Email Address option, but this is an individual email address - and given we have some clients with 500 users it would be very time consuming to manually add everyone. If we could upload the list to a segment (e.g. CLIENT A - ACTIVE USERS FEBRUARY 2021) and then have that segment as the selected audience - that would be a massive timesaver for us!
Posting this on behalf of a customer... ------------------------ It would be good to have the possibility do dispatch notification emails based on issue "type". Right now we have one address that receives all the submitted feedback, and we do the dispatching manually – issue to support, feature request to POs, etc. This takes, as you can imagine, a lot of time. So, it would be very good to have the possibility when setting up email notifications about received feedback, to define who receives the feedback. Additionally, since we know what account is sending feedback, it would be good if we could say, send notification email to their account manager (we store that data in PX). Also, adding the web address (and possibly the mapped Feature/Module) where the user submitted their feedback into the notification email would give us more context when analyzing. ------------------------ If you have suggestions, thoughts, and/or also would like something similar for your teams, please let us know. Thanks! @ciarapeter @mickey
We would like to have the following formatting options available when taking notes in a Timeline activity: Changing the font color (you currently have to copy and paste from another doc to alternate font colors) Changing text size (you currently have to copy and paste from another doc to get different sizes) Highlighting Strikethrough Changing fonts Alternate bullet types Ability to press “TAB” to indent text
I have a customer who has a few rules that need to run every two hours. Ideally, they'd like to have them as part of a Rule Chain and only have to schedule the rule chain to run every two hours instead of each rule individually. Is it on the road map to allow Rule Chains to be set to run through an Advanced Schedule? I can also see a use case where I have a set of rules that only needs to run on the first day of a quarter which would also require an advanced schedule.
I love the ability for some of the widgets to be “Assigned a Section” (jump to a different tab on the 360) but would like it extended out to all widgets. Some of the default ones, like CSM and Renewal Date don’t allow it (although others do, like ARR) and others like Attributes and Report sections also don’t - I would like for example to show a summary of Support Ticket data (how many open, high priorty etc) and then a user can click on that box to be taken to the Support Ticket tab for more info.I understand when the fields are editable it’s more difficult but perhaps just those that are locked would be a starting point - or those that are editable only the box header is clickable.
It would benefit PX if we could export data for Hosted Articles that were created in Gainsight PX. At the moment we are only able to export data for External Articles. It is expected that this data could be retrieved in the UI from the Analytics section, via data export through an integration like S3, or using our REST API. At the moment, neither of these are an option.
Add the ability to change due dates for CTAs and tasks to the mass edit functionality. This will allow us to adjust dates as we make changes to our process flow.
Hello There, We would like to publish the home page without having to request the users to “Preview Home Page” and “Make this My Home”. Whatever is published in home page must be published automatically to the assigned users. I don’t see a way to do that in current setup.
Upon review of the available webhook events, it seems there are not events for flagged topics. I’d love to see this added, especially considering that there’s a Zapier trigger for it. (However the Zapier trigger has a very limited payload and I’d encourage you to build the webhook event with all of the items listed here:
When a customer click on a link for a survey that has already been submitted, a customer sees the following page: Even if in Survey > Design you have enabled “Hide Powered by Gainsight” footer, it still shows this page.Even if you create a custom Page in “Pages” with your own header, footer, and content and use that as your Thank You configuration page in Survey Design, it still shows this page. From Support:Thanks for reaching out to support! Currently, it isn't quite possible to remove that from our surveys as it is hard coded in. With the push for digital CS and the bionic CSM, Gainsight needs to do more for giving us customization and features that allow for whitelabeling our surveys and any other external asset.
Love the ability with the new horizon related list section to be able to add multiple reports from different objects into the general section. It would be a better admin and end user experience if we could have the same look/feel & functionality for building a “dashboard” into the C360 that we do with Adoption Explorer. The new functionality let’s me group reports from similar objects together, but due to minimum sizing req’s I saw on another post, if I only have one widget and the rest are reports, that one widget takes up the entire long top section (not pleasing to look at).
