Right now, in the participant fields when you try to create the participant list you must have a field called “Recipient Email Address”. It is a MAJOR pain and frankly blocker to use. The majority of our dataset just have “email” which means we have to go back and change to “recipient email address” which may not be accurate for other places we use the data in. There should be no requirement until mapping THEN you must require something map to “recipient email address”
When creating “tasks” via a timeline activity it would be nice to be able to modify the CTA type being created from those tasks. Right now, the auto created CTA from these tasks have to default to what the admin selects on the backend. It would be nice for the end user to modify within the timeline entry the type of CTA these tasks will create.
We have 150+ engagements to manage in our KC Bot. We’ve categorized our Engagements using labels in the Engagements list screen. However, when we manage those engagements in the KC Bot Content Manager, we cannot filter the list of engagements by the labels. This would also help us ensure that engagements we’ve labeled (i.e. grouped in the Engagements section) are also similarly categorized in the KC Bot Content Manager.
Currently users with Engagement “Production Launcher” permissions have rights to publish and drafted engagement to any product. This is a concern for us with a larger number of products and staff drafting engagements. We have Product Managers (those who will launch to production) for each product and they should not be able to post Engagements into other products. This problem is further exacerbated by the lack of logging on engagements. This is a separate enhancement request that I will post here but seems tightly related and worth mentioning.
Use Case: I handle communications with 1. our resellers 2. customers who have multiple accounts for various reasons, and the email thread that may involve more than one client account so that communication needs to be logged on multiple account timelines. Currently, in Gainsight Assist if the client account is not evident I either 1. receive a drop down to select the right account, or 2. the timeline activity goes to draft. In scenario #1 I’d like to option to have a multi-pick list and select all applicable accounts and have that timeline activity appear on all selected accounts. In scenario #2 I’d like to be able to populate/select multiple accounts as well. An alternate option would be to be able to open a timeline activity on account “A”, and copy (and/or move) it to an alternate account.
Need to be able to drag attributes from one attribute group to another in C360. Currently takes a delete and bring back in, with the need to reset everything on the field (description/tooltip). It’s a small ask but would make a big difference!
The documentation on Accounts and Audience Explorer notes that “the Lifetime date option displays activities up to the last 90 days. To filter older activities, use the Custom Date Range option to specify a time period of up to six months at a time.“Given the adjacent options of ‘Last [7, 14, 28, 30] Days’ it is at least counterintuitive that Lifetime would = Last 90 Days. This should just be labeled “Last 90 Days”
At our company, we have 200+ CSMs and many global language customer needs. We are using NXT with DCRM, and our CSM account assignments are happening within GS. Because of the different team & customer needs, it hasn’t been possible to create a standard mechanism for completing automated account assignments. And, when CSM changes are needed today (i.e. someone leaves, gets promoted, moves roles, goes on PTO, etc) it’s currently time intensive for both the managers and GS admins to complete the re-assignments. This need would also extend to CSM assignments on new accounts too. We’ve been wanting to set up a self-serve account assignment solution that would allow the managers to quickly make these changes on their own--both in updating the account assignments and any associated GS records (CTAs, Success Plans, etc)--without needing the involvement of a GS admin to build a rule or solution. If it were possible to expand the Mass Edit feature to include objects like the CSM field, and make this a user permission we can grant, it would help us build a solution like this. Today’s experience looks like:CSM Manager exports list of impacted accounts and documents the required changes after assessing bandwidth, CSM capabilities and skills, for the new assignments, etc CSM Manager sends file to GS admin CSM Manager waits for GS admin to complete work GS admin builds rule(s) to make required changes GS admin uses Mass Edit (or another rule action) to mass update CTA/task/SP ownershipAs opposed to a solution like:CSM Manager decides on required changes Manager uses Mass Edit feature, adds filters to get required data set, and submits “Reassign accounts” action Manager uses Mass Edit feature to decide which CTAs should be reassigned This is especially important when these requests are time sensitive and limited by the admins time and bandwidth to complete.
This is what our Success Plan Rules have to look like because derived mappings are not supported in the Success Plan Rule actions. We quickly run out of tasks. Please help.
Our customers see our use of engagements (banners, guides, and tool tips) and wish to create their own. They want to message their users using these tools but are not able to since Gainsight PX is only geared toward our internal use.It would be nice if these external users could be given specific permissions to post engagements to their account users. This would let them include specific instructions and communications overlaid on the product as we would do, but for their specific communication needs on how that customer of ours uses the product and guides their users on the use of the product.
Currently the best place to see signup data over time is within a New User/Account widget on the dashboard. I am trying to dig into this data and do more with it such as export the list of new users. Related business questions would be: How many new users did we have over X time? What role or persona are these users? What brought these users to our platform? Are these users staying in the product?I think that having a standard “New Adoption Report” in Analytics would be good to filter and tease out specific metrics desired around what new users/accounts are coming in and their use of the product. Could answer some standard questions such as “What features do new users use within the first hour/week/month?” Second is adding the event type “Sign Up” to the Query Builder would allow manual setup of the desired details. Current workaround is to use the Audience Explorer to filter for Sign Up Between X and Y to simply recreate the dashboard widget count, and this does allow us to export the list of users.
Team, Bringing forth an idea brought to me via the support channel - are we able to restrict certain end user's ability to delete CTAs? I understand these are embedded within a Visualforce page, but it may be beneficial to limit some users ability to delete CTAs, based on profile or permission set etc. Are there any technical limitations to this? Many thanks, Josh
A feature to map the dependencies, like which bots include with engagements will be useful.I was trying to delete/pause an engagement, but couldn’t as it was included in a bot. There are more than 10 bots in my product tag and I had to individually check the bots. So, it would be good if there is a facility to know which bot included a specific engagement.
I have a customer using Google Search knowledge base integration but they would like to be able to assign a specific URL to each bot, based on language. The use case here is that there are separate documentation sites for each language of documentation, which have unique URLs: https://help.company.com/espanol/vshttps://help.company.com/support.html
As an example, we have customers who are Dutch, but we also have a large group who speak English and do not master the Dutch language. It would be nice to be able to write an article in several languages, so that the customer can switch to read the topic in his/her language without affecting the content or having the other language in the topic itself.
To manage our community, we need to create different views with filters and columns. On the moment, I am missing two functionalities here:Being able to rearrange columns as I want, since depending on the overview, some may not be as important as others, and it helps me to have a better overview Being able to save the columns I chose in the view. When saving a view, only filters are saved, but not the columns. This means I have to select the columns I want to see s every time I go into each view.We saved around 10 different views to manage our community, so these two functionalities would really save us a lot of time.
We’ve implemented Gainsight Home which I believe is a great way of personalizing the Gainsight experience. One request that we keep receiving from CSMs is to make this widget ‘clickable’. Currently, they see a distribution by health, but can not drill down to see which customers’ health score is red. For the NPS, they’d also like to see detractors, but can not click the widget. Same for CTAs, it’d be awesome if they could jump to their overdue CTAs from here. This would be a huge improvement in user experience. Is there anything like this planned?
The fields that are provided via the Feedback report export are very limited, it would be great if we could add additional fields, including custom fields to help understand sub categories of users that are asking for the feedback. As it stands today it is pretty limited and these are the only fields provided: Category Description Subject Feedback Path Feedback Full Url Date
Please, please, please provide the ability to download the the specific link that someone clicked on during an engagement data export, the export includes the count of clicks but not what was clicked. Hovering over the data in the data explorer is not a reasonable option.Let me challenge the PX Product Team Further - how about having a 1st principle where you provide all data that is available via downloads, not have us have to request each field. There are multiple instances in the app where data is available, but you can’t get it either via the download or the API, which leaves us frustrated. See this related discussion:
