I would like users to vote for a poll without logging in. We are non-profit organization which promotes consumer protection. We sometimes use the poll feature for gauging sentiment/discussion/interest with regard to various (consumer) theses and/or problems. In the past – with our previous platform- users had the possibility to vote for a poll without logging in. This was ideal for gathering quantitative results in combination with discussion about the main topic / poll question. The results of the poll (especially the ones with a lot of votes) were a great ‘catalyst’ for the discussion itself and also for new users to partake in the discussion. However, we are noticing that the poll results have dropped significantly after switching to Insided. The main reason being that you have to be logged in to vote. It would be great if you guys could explore a feature that can toggle this (vote logged-in / vote without logging in) in the control panel.
Posting on behalf of a customer… In PX Analytics and Dashboards, one can only view users, accounts, and usage details for one tracked PX Product at a time. It would be great be able to perform PX Analytics across all tracked PX Products to answer questions such as…How many users/accounts are active across all our tracked products? Which users are using more than one product, and which products do they use? What is the total of Monthly Active Users (MAU) and Weekly Active Users (WAU) across all tracked PX products? Which users/accounts access Product X and Product Y and/or which users access Product X and NOT Product Y?For our PX Customers that also use our Customer Success platform, this can be accomplished using custom CS reports/dashboards with the integrated PX data. But, it would be great to have the same analytics flexibility for our PX only customers too.
Currently Gainsight PX only allows you to select mask OR filter URLs from being tracked. You can select the “mask” option which will allow you to hide parts of the URL when storing that page view event.ORYou can select the “exclude” option which will tell the Gainsight javascript to simply not send events recorded specified areas of the product. The issue here is that you have to choose. We do not have the ability to use both features simultaneously. Both masking some URLs and fully excluding other areas of the product from Gainsight usage tracking. Enhancement would be to break these configurations into separate rows of the SDK settings page and allow each product to specify/use both features simultaniously.
The new feature alerts if there is a percentage of failures, but it would be great to include if there was a percentage of drops as well. This would alert us to a group of bad emails, if there was something broken with pulling reports embedded from SFDC, etc. Dropped participants can be more impactful at times even than failed bc often failed “meets unique criteria”.
For our organisation we have created a few activity types that a CSM will add updates, attach new & replace old documents & create new tasks over the lifecycle of the customer (E.g. customer documentation, Renewal conversations, Success Plan). When a new CSM takes over an account, it would be great if they had the ability to add additional notes & make amendments to these types of activities. Is this something that has been raised / considered before? Thanks!
I want to run a rule that updates Opt Out from SFDC, and a secondary rule that updates SFDC on out opts from GS. I only want to pull where the modify date is since the last run date of the rule so that we do not accidentally overwrite. We want to run the rule every two hours as SFDC has real time updates. It would be great to have this as an option in the date filter options for a calculation
It would be great if the Email Notifications feature is directly given in the Survey 2.0 in Gainsight NXT. like how it was implemented in SFDC version of Gainsight. We want to be able to send survey notification emails to leadership and currently there is no way other than creating a Journey Orchestrator.Adding a filter criteria to it would also help to limit the notification to DSAT’s Refer below, this was I was exactly taking about. I feel this is a must have feature.
I would be great as the Gainsight PX Administrator to be able to see when was the last time a Gainsight PX user logged into our instance. This would help with outreach to know who is or isn’t getting value from our instance.
Posting on behalf of customer, Whenever user selects Audience rules in engagement to restrict it to only particular set of audience, it would be displayed to only that set of audience when Triggered by is set to Automatic. Instead if the Triggered by is set to Knowledge Center, the Knowledge center Audience Logic rules overrides the Audience logic of engagement. Example Scenario: If in Engagement audience logic, it is selected to be shown to only particular account users. But in KC bot, if audience logic is set to be shown to all users. In this case, Engagement is being shown to all the users of all accounts. Instead if the engagement is shown to only users who are selected in Engagement audience logic, it would be of great help instead of creating multiple KC bot’s for each required filter at engagement level.
I want to follow up on this idea regarding Google Rich Results for FAQs and How-Tos from a few years back and add new feature ideas because:I believe it is still relevant → and even moreso based on the direction Google is taking its search results page inSided / Gainsight are focussing their product vision to position the platform as a 360 degree customer hub with more and more content typesCustomer education content (i.e. self-service content) typically comes in the type of a tutorial (how-to) or an FAQ. Both of these types differ from a classic article, both in structure and in content. An article usually is a continuous text separated by paragraphs and sub-headlines.A tutorial / How-To usually is a step-by-step instruction about how to use a product or a function. An FAQ usually consists of several questions and their answers regarding a product or a function.I therefore propose to create separate content types for:Tutorials / How-Tos → Add steps (title, body, image) within one piece of content to complete an instruction FAQs → add questions and answers within one piece of contentI furthermore propose to enrich both of these new content types with the Google Rich Results enhancements:How-To FAQHaving these new content types and enhancements will give inSided customers the opportunity to:create well-structured customer education content → for better self-service be highly visible on Google → because Google is pushing very hard towards moving away from the classic search results page towards integrated rich results (content widgets)
Apologies if this is a duplicate, but I didn’t see something specific to this. Gainsight supports date range filters, and in rules you have weekend and weekday differentials. I would like the ability to filter in reporting (including data designer) and schedule in Rules and Programs around holidays. To be effective, this would need to be dynamic, as not all holidays have a fixed day of the month or range they start on. I could see this needing some user input, where they as a one time upload a sort of “holiday calendar” of dates they want to include, or GS just does it natively, which is ideal. The idea behind this is you may not want rules to run on certain holidays. You may also want to filter for certain holidays on reports of say, support tickets to know if you have more/less tickets on holidays. For programs, maybe you want to send a campaing that is targeted around a holiday or not not hit certain holidays. Those are just a couple minimal examples but I’m sure there are other use cases. P.S. I guess for continuity this should extend to PX as well for cross platform engagements.
You can set a “Between” filter in Report Builder, but you can’t set a “Between” filter on date fields in drill down reports on dashboards. We’d like to see this functionality available in the drill down reports on dashboards.
While it is great to now have conditional branching in multi-question surveys in PX, it’s very unfortunate that we are not able to sync these engagements. According to the latest updates to the Gainsight PX Integration with Surveys documentation, surveys from PX will not be synched from the point branching logic is introduced. As such, when using multi-question surveys with branching logic, we cannot sync our complete survey data, which is a significant gap. Because the NPS survey does not allow for conditional branching, and our org would like to ask targeted questions related to the initial detractor, passive, or promoter response, we intend to use the multi-question survey to accomplish this. However, when it comes time to sync this data to CS, we’re unable to do so because Gainsight Surveys does not currently support the synching of PX engagements with branching logic. Allowing the syncing of the branching logic data would close a significant gap, and add value for CS+PX admins/users.
We’ve had an SEO audit done on our community. There are a number of improvements we’ll present here as ideas. The first one is about profile images in the community We propose loading images as 40 * 40, only showing them 200 * 200 when needed.Alternatively, we propose adding support for src-sets so that we can load the right image size for the right viewport. This would free up some network load without impacting visual quality.
Currently, in PX, we can create a guide that contains only a badge and tooltip, however, since the badge is always shown on the page, PX doesn't track it. As such, any guide engagements launched using only a badge and tooltip will have no user/engagement performance tracking to reference. We can push information to our users in-app via badge + tooltip only, but we have zero visibility of user engagement or the performance of these engagements themselves, which leaves much to be desired. The goal is to not only broadcast information in app, but also to track the engagement and performance. The value of Engagement Performance data speaks for itself and the complete lack of this data for a guide engagement containing only a badge and tooltip is limiting. It would add significant value to be able to track these engagements.
In the Success Dashboard, it would be helpful to see average time to first response for Questions only, since these are considered a support interaction in most cases. We care much more about questions being answered than replies to conversations/general discussions.
Within the new C360 end users have the ability to change report visualizations to their liking, adjust sorting, etc. However, when downloading the end-user customized report, the downloaded image shown is the default report, not the one the end user customized. Is it possible to make end user report changes sticky upon downloading?
Is it possible to link an article in PX from a step in an existing engagement?
Hey guys, I'm posting this on behalf of a customer who mentioned that she thought it would be good if users could create CTAs from the mobile app. She says that her users are not in front of their computers all of the time but that she thinks that the usability of the app would be greatly improved if users had the ability to do more than just observe Gainsight through the mobile app. Thanks! -Tom
We’d like to automatically assign badges to users based on the number of Ideas they submit in particular product areas. For example, we’d like to create a badge for people who submit at least one idea to our API product area, and another badge for people who submit at least one idea to improving our search engine, etc.
It would be great if we could identify responses to NPS or CES surveys where there is NO comment provided, and use that as audience criteria for a follow-up email. I.e. where comment is blank
In the below picture, you are seeing the CSAT widget in the survey module on a C360 which only has one response: a 2 out of 5. The widget makes this look a) like a %, b) like a 0, which is not even within the CSAT methodology. The widget should simply show a configurable avg or median, as opposed to translating to a %, as this is misleading and confusing, especially since it is a gauge. Even if 2 is a detractor, I would expect it to be higher on the gauge than a 1. This is the whole point of a numeric grade on anything that ties to colour: so we can answer questions like, “just how red is it? Is it better or worse than this other red?” and prioritize outreach accordingly.
I’m using the NXT version of CS and am looking to merge two contacts listed under one account. Occasionally our clients will update their email addresses, so we’ll have two separate contacts (one current and one that’s outdated) that represent the same person. We don’t want to just delete the old one and lose all of the activities they were part of. Ex. customer@abc.com changed their email address to customer@xyz.com, want merge the two so that @xyz.com will be associated with all historical activities @abc.com was part of, and then be able to delete @abc.com Is there a way to accomplish this in NXT?
