Right now all tasks created within timeline activities create a new CTA called “to do: activity name”. Sometimes these tasks are related to existing CTAs and we’d like the ability to put those tasks under the relevant CTAs instead of creating a new one. What this would look like is that when naming the due date and owner, we could also just name the CTA (if one already exists already) that the tasks should be created under. It would be nice if the CTAs within that company/relationship were already there as a picklist instead of having to search for it by name.
Use case: Utilizing Gainsight Email Assist for integrating and automatically sending customers secure DocuSign sign-off documents e.g. SOWs
For scenarios where Gainsight is writing to Salesforce (the Connectors and the Rules Engine come immediately to mind), support documentation of the Gainsight User who made the change in Gainsight to be the “Modified User” in Salesforce.Currently, all writes to SFDC are documented as “Modified By” the authenticating user, which is often a generic or service SFDC User. The Enhancement Request is to support sending the identifying information for the Gainsight User who made the change to SFDC.This will help with auditing, as a write to SFDC could be tracked specifically to a Gainsight User, instead of being assigned to a more generic SFDC User. (Today, it’s somewhat clear the SFDC modification came from Gainsight, but lacks information on which user made the change in Gainsight.) This would also help Gainsight teams improve relationships with Salesforce Administrators by more clearly noting the true modifying User.
I would like the ability to export the email templates as a PDF, please. It's one thing to access the HTML, but I'd love to be able to export the finished template just as a PDF. Having the finished template as a PDF would allow me to easily share the template with various shareholders, people who might need to approve it, etc. As a PDF, I could post the finished template in other locations around my organization ("we just sent our customers this communication, fyi"), without needing to send a test to myself first, and then print from my own email client or rely on screenshots. With only the HTML available to me, I am unable to just put the template up on my own HTML site, since I use the GS embedded image function (and taking the raw HTML causes not only images to break, but things like special characters as well).
Trying to get Dashboard visuals out of PX in a presentable form is a nightmare. At a minimum, it needs to be printable. A better formatted PDF or PPT slide would be much better. @link_black@jnies Looks like garbage. While I don’t have an estimate for time associated with this request, it is far from 0.
We have ability to change the size of the columns for Mass edit reports but these are not Sticky. Once page is refreshed the Columns are reset to their original size, Can we save the Column widths of Mass edit reports and when they are used in Dashboards too.
Here’s the context.Create a Program that sends a CSAT survey on support case closure In the case of a low score, an email is sent to the case owner that INCLUDES their response/score via a token in the email.Using AO Participant>Survey Score will report back the score in the case of an NPS survey question, but I don't see that functionality it for CSAT, either with that or another field. The bold section is the request here, as it would be very useful to display the score via a token in an email later on in the program, especially if this is already possible with an NPS style question. I’m aware that you can eventually report on this via the flattened survey but that’s not the ask here.
Hi Team, As of now we have an option log Timelines in Success Plan & CTA’s and we also have an option to log Timelines from Plugins. So customers request is to see a way where they can merge this two. Providing an ability to log Emails as Timeline under Success Plan/CTA . The above might be little tedious so any of the below option of reparenting a Timeline will also help -1) Ability to move a Timeline from an instance to another, like move from one Company to another or relationship to another relationship.2)Ability to move a logged Timeline from C360 Timeline to Success Plan/CTA. Just like feature Mass Edit of CTA’s/ Success Plan we can have Timeline Mass Edit to Edit or reparent Bulk Timelines at once. Thank you!!
It seems a very common and recurring issue that people are asking how to edit specific strings of text through phrases that do not appear in the Control Phrases section. Once edited they do, so I’m wondering if there couldn’t be a way to toggle what is visible in Control Phrases so that users can search the text they need to edit and edit it themselves… I recently had to do this for multiple SSO methods and while I managed to do it, I had to search through at least 3 different forum/ knowledge base topics. So I’m suggesting a basic filter on the Phrases page to toggle showing all phrases, edited phrases (as seems to be the case now and just hidden phrases, so these can be used in conjunction with the search to make changes easier on users. It might look something like this:
Considering the current environment of many folks handling customers remotely, how much thought has been given to Zoom Meeting integration? Creating meetings (scheduled or ad hoc) with the ability to add Zoom appointments that populated Outlook via the add-in would be a significant time saver and huge user satisfier.
This post fits squarely into the category of “Improving Admin Quality of Life.” Ever since the MDA was upgraded, manually deleting data from an MDA object takes infinitely longer than it used to. It used to take a matter of seconds. Now it seems to take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours, and it doesn’t seem to matter whether I’m deleting 10,000+ rows of data or just a single row. Why is this? And at the very least, can we get some visibility into the execution history of these tasks? I’m currently trying to delete a single customer record from the Company object in our sandbox and have been waiting 45 minutes and counting for it to finish. There is zero data (timeline entries, CTAs, etc.) associated with it.
Hi,We love the new ability to move around the columns in our People List and for allowing us to sort on fields! Thank you for those very much needed improvements! In addition to this enhancement, we would also like the product to save our settings once we move these columns and sort them how we want. Can we get this on the roadmap, please?Steps to reproduce: Go to a client’s C360 → Contacts (or whatever you have People List named) → People List → Sort by Name, Move Title over after Name, Move Email over after Title → Search for a new client → Go to Contacts in the new client’s C360 **notice the personalization you made does not flow over/stick.Each individual has different ways of looking at information. It would be GREAT if every user could personalize their People List and never have to update them again. Now they have to do it each time they go to a new client, close their GS browser, or login each day. This would be a huge timesaver!
Team, We have a customer using the text “Concat” function in the Rule Transformations. But unable to introduce a new line character between the fields. They want to display each field in a different line. We have tried to implement by setting the & “ ” in between fields of contact function but that deosn’t worked out.
There are instances where a CSM might want to omit certain measures from their customer’s scorecard manually, especially in instances where data cleanliness is causing a false reading and incorrectly affecting the score. This could be solved by creating individual scorecards for specific customers - but is not a scalable solution from an admin perspective. The idea would be to give a full user the ability to dynamically exclude specific measures from one specific customer’s scorecard based on their knowledge of the account.
Can an option to adjust lay out settings in shared dashboard PPT’s be integrated in the roadmap? We use the sharing option to push a pace dashboard to our account managers and sales management but the default font (Calabri 18) completely ruins the lay out. Or does anyone have any ideas other than using the Success Snapshot?
Something that’s been recently driving me nuts is that when you sort on a number field, the report builder shows null values first. This behavior makes no sense. For example, in this report, I’m trying to sort on “total accounts.” When I sort by fewest, I get the following, which is expected: However, when I reverse that sorting and therefore expect to see the highest number on down, I instead get all the null values first. This makes no sense! I checked Excel just to make sure I wasn’t crazy. Here’s how Excel functions with null values - notice how null values aren’t considered. This is how Gainsight’s report builder should function too.
It would be good to be able to differentiate between acceptable and unacceptable fails in the connector jobs.So for example if an opportunity record is rejected because the Company lookup returns a null I don’t want to receive an error for that. But if it fails because of a picklist value being incorrect then I do. The way I would see it working is having another option for how to treat derived mapping fields, so Mark Null, Reject, or Ignore.
The Update Activities page on Horizon Connectors combines with the Run (execution) log and together hits the 100-log limit on the UI. Gainsight Support has confirmed that Gainsight will store only the last 100 execution (Job runs and Update activities) in the UI and out of that the update activities will be displayed in this space. If we have a few different Connector jobs running hourly, this leaves us with maybe 2-3 days of logs. Then we need to go to Support to find out what happened for anything older.
Seems across the product if we make a picklist value inactive it will still show in the dropdown but grayed out. This request is to have it not show at all. The below is in NXT when adding a field to the CTA object that references a drop down list. When I add that field to the CTA view, the inactive values still show.
Hello All, Quick ease of life idea. When in the cockpit it would be helpful for some too see how many CTAs I have for a day or week at a glance. I work in a monthly or weekly view most of the time and the numbering helps prioritize a little bit based on the number or CTAs per customer. Example attached
Love the concept, but disappointed with the results of this recent release in AE Dashboards. Global filters should function the same across the platform. Yet again, we are faced with mismatched functionality between Horizon Dashboards and AE Dashboards.Prepopulating global filters - this is a fundamental requirement to make global filters usable anywhere. Locking global filters - speaks for itself. We as admins have come to leaning on these sorts of feature in building out requirements. It is already hard enough to have to explain to our stakeholders when expected behaviour in one area does not match in another. As new releases come out, we need to vet every feature to ensure we fully understand the pitfalls and gaps before we can even adopt them. This ultimately wastes time. Perhaps the fact that there is not even an option for “CS Adoption Explorer” in the Product Area dropdown when writing this post proves that there is not enough attention being given to this secret treasure within Gainsight.
We have Weekly and Monthly filtering ability, it would be beneficial to be able to filter to first and last day of a year. The use case would be doing something like summing the EBRs completed over the course of a year. Currently the filter is hard coded to be >= 1/1/2019. When the year turns over to 2020, this will have to be manaully updated.
Hi Gainsight Team,Our CSM’s would like the ability to create recurring CTAs for recurring engagements they have with their customers. Depending on the customer, they may have a different cadence set. It would be great if it could function similar to recurring calendar features where you could do the following:Setup a recurring CTA for a period of time (maybe up to 6 or 12 months?)Recurring CTA can be weekly, fortnightly, monthly, bi-monthly. Monthly and bi-monthly meetings fall on the same day in the month - e.g. 3rd Tue of each month | 2nd Thu of other month.Ability to delete a recurring series of CTAsAbility to change the cadence of a whole set of CTAs - which might require a full delete / new set of recurring CTAsAbility to delete or change the date for just one CTA - happens often From an Admin standpoint, it would be helpful to assign this setting to a certain CTA Type so CSMs can create recurring events for certain engagements, not all. When looking at a view of upcoming CTAs, where recurring CTAs are shown, you either want to see just the next recurring CTA (only) or else set the view to be a rolling N months in future. Currently I believe you can set to “view this quarter” which doesn’t help if you’re on the last day of the quarter If recurring isn’t possible, the ability to clone an existing CTA with a new due date, prior to completing a previous CTA, would be a good alternative.
