The email-templates tab shows how many Outreaches are using each template, but it does now show how many Playbooks are using a template. This is vital for us to know which templates are actively "in use," and which ones we can "safely" remove from our JO tab.
We'd like to send monthly activity summary email to customers. As part of that we're looking to format parts of the email based on the users activity, e.g. where there's improvement vs. previous month show encouraging text with green font and a cheerful image, whereas if there's no improvement display something else. So, it would be great to be able to use conditions in the email template. Otherwise the only existing option is use the variation feature, but if you have several 'conditions' in the email this gets too complicated to manage (you'd need to have a variation per every combination of condition results).
The ability to send a compact tabular report via Programs is a great enhancement. Is this on the roadmap for other forms of communication as well? I.e. Email Assist
Do we have it our roadmap and what's the timeline (no pun intended, ok may be a bit)?
Hi,I would like the ability to search all tables for a field using a keyword. For example, I would like to search for all fields with “SOR” in the field name and would like to know all tables that have that has a field with that keyword. Right now, I either need tacit knowledge or I have to check each table one by one. Thanks,Amanda
When syncing Salesforce activity to Timeline, records that do not have a value in Description/Comments will fail because It is mapping to Notes in the Timeline Activity which is a required field. It fails because Notes has to have a value in order to save. If there was a way to provide a default value for Notes when the incoming record from SFDC has a null value for Description, that would make it easier to sync data without having to find records in the logs that failed and update. Having the option to set default in the job setup would allow for a default Notes value specific to the type of Salesforce activity being synced.
I am looking for a feature or updated API that would allow me to add/insert Timeline Activities for companies. We log certain activities in a external third-party system and would like to bring that information into Gainsight as a Timeline Activity.Best,Ben Wanless
Hi Team, Creating this request on customer’s behalf. Use case: When customer is creating users via APIs the users are created as case insensitive records, where as when we build a rule or update the username or emails they are converted to lower case automatically. This API user creation will have downstream impacts since many application areas inside gainsight work with case sensitive data. I request you to fulfil this product gap and expose user APIs for customer use so that there wouldn’t any issues like mentioned above. Regards,Jagadeesh
The goal of a Customer Success tool such as Gainsight is to bring a holistic view of the customer and overall engagement together. Unless I've missed something, right now I see a disconnect in having multiple resources working on an account using Relationships. There needs to be a way to unify Success Plans, allowing you to create a Relationship-level CTA as part of the Customer-level Success Plan. This would allow a CSM working at the Customer level to assign CTAs as part of a Success Plan to resources that own a particular relationship but still have it live as part of an overall account plan.
In Path Analyzer when the threshold value is set to “0”, report displays top 9 features and everything else will be categorized as “Other”. It would be helpful if there is an ability to expand the “other” category to see what features are included.
Can you make the schedule of the Data Designer jobs visible on the main screen? It is very cumbersome to click on the configure page of each job to figure out when each job is scheduled (or if it is even scheduled)
I have a few dashboards where having the ability to add commentary to what is in a section versus the title of the report would be helpful for the viewer. Example: I have a dashboard for cancellations and downgrades for the month. I have 4 widgets at the top that sum up the number of accounts that have canceled/downgrade and are forecasted to cancel/downgrade for the month. But without commentary on what that widget is it does not provide the entire story to the viewer.
It would be great to have the ability to easily customize/change the "Next" and "Previous" button text in PX Guide Tooltips. This is not currently possible without some significant custom CSS coding.
We would like to be more creative with the engagements we create and an idea we had was to use illustrations with transparent backgrounds. The illustration itself may be clickable and then take the user to the desired next-step.A rough mock up would look something like this - where the Apple is floating on top of our UI: While it is possible to adjust the engagement’s transparency, it’s impossible to remove the engagement’s box and shadow entirely. Confirmed by PX Support and my CSM. My ask would be to allow for the removal of those elements as well. And for the “exit” or “X” which is normally in the top right of the engagement, maybe in a full transparent mode the “X” has a circle background behind it w/ shadow? idk.Does anyone do this already w/ CSS? Looks like it’s possible?
This is related to https://community.gainsight.com/gainsight/topics/non-admin-users-should-have-access-to-build-view-an... which shows to be "Answered." I understand there is already a way to expose Reports 2.0 for non-administrators to use, but this raises some concerns for me: - Would this give end users the ability to edit the reports created by admins? If so, there needs to be a way to abstract the Admin-created reports so that the end users can't mess with them. - Giving end users direct access to Reports 2.0 also could create an organization and management nightmare. It's already a bit cumbersome searching through the reports as it is without opening the floodgates to end users to create their own. I see there is already a related idea here: https://getsatisfaction.com/gainsight/topics/folder-system-or-ability-to-categorize-reports so hopefully this would be organized in a way that would make management simpler. - It seems a bit clunky to have end users be able to create their own reports, but have no dashboard to organize them so that they don't have to go back to R2.0 every time they want to run a single report. I will open a separate idea for this.
Currently JO does NOT provide any feedback on the true # of retrieved rows for embedded tabular reports for any one company. I think after participants are brought into a program that the report filtering/snapshot job should do a check on # of filtered rows/ # of displayed rows and whether participant(s) were seeing all of the report info pertinent to them. If the amount of info for a tabular report exceeds the 5x20 limitation I think we need to add in an option that would automatically attach a tabular report CSV onto the email sends for participants where the 5x20 limitation is exceeded. Also, I think it would be useful to see # of filtered rows/ # of displayed rows when previewing an email step with an inline tabular report. This is based on a conversation had on this topic with Clark Burris from Mitel. I do think that there is an opportunity to improve how the embedded tabular reports function, and one of the keys would be to provide the JO admin the ability to see whether a filtered tabluar report exceeds the 5x20 limitation and allow them to send additional filtered report results.
Similar to SFDC, users should be able to create reports ad-hoc and view existing reports. I'd also want to view reports WITHOUT having to include them in dashboards / 360. "Reports" should be a standalone top nav menu.
I’ve been trying to adopt segments more to use in our programs and there is one big thing that is painful and affecting my adoption of it.We have more than 400 fields on our contact object. This of course looks up to the account object. When adding fields or filters to a segment, the lookup objects are only searched if that lookup is showing in the dropdown. You can see in my screenshot that there is a button to “show 360 more” fields. When you click this, it only shows 50 more fields. So if I want to search for field from the account lookup, I have to click this option 7 times, scrolling down after each click of “show x more” until I get the account lookup to show. Only after this can I search for a field from the account object. This is incredibly painful when you have possibly dozens of fields to add as list fields as well as filters since it adds much more time to the setup. Can the search be expanded to include fields from lookup objects if they aren’t in the initial list of fields/objects?
I really want to be able to test my new Salesforce Connector job before I run it live and bring in 150 users. Please consider adding this as a feature like we’re able to do for rules.
Reporting this issue that was brought to my attention by one of our CSM's as they wished to filter a C360 customer report by date range and did not have the ability. As an Admin, I attempted to replicate and had the same result as existing filters can have values modified but NEW filters cannot be applied. User Story: As a CSM (Gainsight User) I need the ability to apply custom filters to reports based on custom objects and data spaces in order to research information on our customers, specifically, but not limited to, date ranges and string and numeric values Work Around (Date Range Search): Create a new "Date Range" report by duplicating the original and adding two (2) "dummy filters" for the date field that a date range is needed and save the report and share on the C360. This will allow for those values to be "Modified" by the user while we await this feature to be considered and hopefully implemented
Hi,Mass-edit option does not allow updates to CTAs which belong to a Success PlanIf the default greyed-out filter provided in the mass-edit is allowed to be changed, then we can filter CTAs which belong to Success PlansThis will make the Owner reassignment of Success Plan and CTAs a breeze Thanks,Soumitra
