Posting on Behalf of a Customer. Currently the Salesforce Push/Pull Integration to PX only can one object in the “Mapped Fields” section. And “Matching Logic” only works off that one object selected in “Mapped Fields”. There are organizations that host their Account level information in more than SFDC Object and be nice to be able to pull from more than one SFDC Object to push to PX
I currently have a few Generic Survey JOs set up where I want to send a CTA for the CSM once we have sent the reminders and the customer still hasn’t responded. After several conversations with Support, it was determined that the last option in the conditional wait is what determines when the CTA will be created. Ideally, I would like to be able to specify a different time for the CTA versus when the survey results would still count. For our use case, we are having the CSM manually resend the survey with that CTA, so we would still want the results to count after that. I also don’t think that it’s clear that’s what that field controls as well, and it’s also not clear in the documentation. I thought it might be possible to add an additional conditional wait after the Respond arrow, but it’s not possible currently. I can create a workaround in the Rules Engine, but it would be nice to be able to do it in the survey path instead.
When adding a meeting activity type within the Timeline tab of the C360, it would be helpful to have the ability to rearrange the options most relevant to each of our consultants to the top of the list. Currently those at the top are locked and immovable. It would be nice to have the ability to rearrange these as needed and it would reduce scrolling as well.
I have a customer who uses a report built off of a custom object in SFDC that is embedded as a section on the R360 page. The ideal behavior is that it would auto-sort in descending order off of the date field of this report. However, there isn't a way to do this (if I put date first on the report it will sort in ascending order which we don't want). I tried to utilize the ranking feature, however it's ranking it alphabetically as opposed to date-driven. Is there any talk of allowing a source report to be sorted then saved and have this preference carry over to the 360 section? The use case is that some CSMs as they are getting more familiar with GS are thinking that we are not pulling in their tasks as the sort shows the oldest one first as opposed to the preferred sort noted above.
I need the ability to create and assign CTAs to a group of individuals. Is this available? On the roadmap?
Posting on behalf of customer: Currently, when users wants to see Analytics without having audience from particular domain, they need to apply filters and save them. In order to use the same condition across different sections with in the analytics, they need to apply saved filter, which is little tedious to PX users. Instead, if there could be a Global filter selection, if once selected applies to all sections within the analytics as customer moves among them without need for applying the saved filters would ease the task of applying filters.
Posting on Behalf of a customer here. Currently whenever someone in the company creates a test dashboard it's instantly being showed publicly to all users and it leads to confusion and a clutter of dashboards for everyone in the company. Also when companies are sensitive to who sees what dashboards, it is easy to be unaware of what material is showing in dashboards upon creation. Suggestion would be to have dashboards private by default and then made public or shared with team members. -Mike
There is currently no easy way to see your team’s usage of Gainsight. You can request your CSM to set up the weekly emailed reports. This information is helpful but it would be great to see it in Gainsight as well and hopefully to be able to drill down into the data more. This should also not be something admins need to request and should be automatically setup. As admins, we don’t have great tools to see GS adoption and it would be empower us to drive more adoption if we can easily access the data. This is available in the SFDC version.
Hear me out: Even if you are running NXT there’s a good chance you are doing so through Salesforce. Some users may be on SF Classic, some may be on SF Lightening. If I want to share a link to a Gainsight page to another internal user (for example, a specific report, Survey Analytics Tab etc.,) the only way to do that is to either:Make sure you aren’t using SF Lightening Log back into SF and Gainsight (see step one) with Classic Copy the URLOr, explain the breadcrumbs of where you want them to go, such as administration>Surveys>Survey Name>Analytics Tab. This bad, as you may be dealing with users that have different permission levels and also levels of confidence with the platform. I would like some type of share button that generates a link to the current GS page/tab/feature I am on regardless of whether or not I am in Lightening, Classic or just NXT so I can just share that sucker with whoever needs it (internal users only) and be done in one step.
Team, When we are inserting/updating the data from Rich Text Area of MDA to Long Area (Text) & Long Area (Rich) of SFDC via Rules Engine, it is appending the HTML tags when the it contains the new lines or spaces in the source fields at the end of the content. Currently, this is because of some limitation. Can we enhance this in the future road map
Use Case:In the Path analyzer, when we select the option “Starting from Engagement”, It gives us a complete list of all the engagements, Including the engagements which were having Zero views or may be never launched. It would be better UX if they would be excluded from the drop-down list because it simply doesn't make sense to even select them since nobody has ever seen them, probably they were never launched either.
A formula used in a Transformation task in a rule shows as the output label in the Show area. It would be helpful to have some sort of indicator that is based on a formula (similar to how Data Management has a little blue f when it is a formula field). It can be difficult to know from a glance whether a field is a formula or has just been relabeled without clicking the gear next to field. Most helpful would be an indicator or hover over text that would display the type of formula field.
I got a request from a customer today to have the ability to customize the text in the URL fields in Gainsight (MDA). Essentially, users are accustomed to having an option for putting the "link address" and also a "label" (see screenshot below). The ask is that in Rules engine they could (for example) put in the hyperlink, but have the text show a label. Ideally, I think this would require a token that they could put in which would replace the long (and ugly) URL that often get generated in this field. Zendesk does this in SFDC with their integration.
When we pull/export data from activity timeline with field "Note" which is Richtext, we get html content, that is expected. Can we include this field in our export for reporting purposes in near future? Is this possible?
It would be helpful to support dependent picklist configurations from the C360 or R360 pages. Today, if you update the GS Relationship object to build a dependent picklist, Gainsight's backend does not allow the record to save if an invalid option is chosen. But it also doesn't support limiting the values shown. Gainshight should inherit this configuration from Salesforce and use it on its page layouts.
We're looking to do some consolidation of playbooks across our teams. With this, we'll be deleting old playbooks. However, we still need historical reporting on those CTAs. Is there a way to not have the playbook disappear from reporting when you delete the playbook? Example: I have three playbooks that I'm going to consolidate into 1, and then, delete the other two. I still need to report on the historical CTAs associated with those playbooks I'm deleting. Once I delete them, the playbook is no longer associated with them, so I can no longer pull historical reporting by playbook.
When I make a change to a report that has been added to Dashboard Builder, i have to clear the previous settings in order to see the changes. This means I must inform every user to reset their filters in order to see the changes. Is there a 'Master Restore/Clear Settings' button or a way to clear settings/filters in mass for all reports added to the Dashboard Builder section? I like this idea. I can however anticipate many emails from users wondering what happened to their custom filters for this that and the other thing - even if resetting their filters were ultimately good for them so I have some add-on suggestions for this request: When filters are reset send a notification to the users, or at least allow admins to toggle a notification on/off when this happens. Ability to reset filters on a per dashboard basis, but also a master “reset all filters on all dashboards” big red button (I am flexible on the color). This a stretch goal but if there could be a “publish changes” that only resets the impacted filters you changed that would be great. This way, other custom filter sets wouldn’t be impacted so users don’t have to go back to tweaking all their reports if they had other views set up. This would be in addition to the master reset.
In order to avoid human error, please add pre-built filters to any outreach capability to exclude any SFCC contacts who have opt-ed out of email. For folks who do not wish to respect this flag, the filter could be unchecked. Otherwise, the filter should be set to exlude these contacts automatically.
Hi team, When CSMs are doing bulk edits to CTAs, it looks like this: That takes up too much screen space, doesn’t add value, and is annoying. Can the UX be addressed here? If I solve multiple CTAs in a row, I should not lose half my screen. Thanks!
Hi, I am often referencing other topics on the Community by using links. I use hyperlinks as they are more clear and visually appealing. Unfortunately, this usually involves a lot of copying & pasting, as you have to: - copy the topic url into your reply - click on the "?" in order to copy the BB code for hyperlinks - paste that BB code into your reply - copy the url and replace the dummy url in the BB code - change the hyperlink title to match the topic title This could become very labor-intensive if you want to include multiple hyperlinks in a comment. So ideally, the platform should automatically identify that the link points towards a topic on the Community, and turn this: https://community.insided.com/platform-technology-19/mentions-feature-72 into this: @mentions feature I think that this would be an added value to all InSided Communities. Regards, Julian
Would be great to get a warning when an event that has received traffic suddenly gets 0. For example, if either the ID or URL is changed, and that isn’t handled and the event remapped. I think this highlights the challenge of how all departments (prod, tech, operations) can keep track of what elements are tracked in Gainsight and not. How product and tech can sync the Gainsight implementation to make it robust and not break tracked elements by mistake. One way is of course to check in Gainsight every time we make changes but I don't think that scale very well.
The new update for profile pictures is great but its currently not available in Cockpit in Nxt. The Cockpit still shows the initials.
Taking inspiration from this feverbee blog, could we consider updating the ‘community stats’ to show more relevant metrics that might encourage newbies to sign up and volunteers to raise their game? % of questions that receive a solution. Average time to get an answer. Peer to peer support %
Our use case for Groups is limited and may remain so for quite some time. I’d love to feature our 1-2 groups on our home page, but it’s an awkward layout to show one group tile in the full page width widget. Instead, ideally there would be a smaller Groups widget that works with the sidebar navigation setup alongside a feed of content.
It would be an amazing feature if when BCC’ing an email from the Global Timeline that you can search via the customer email, not just by company name. This would make it so much easier and save a lot of time when assigning the emails to the customer accounts.
