Our community’s superusers have asked for the ability to edit the titles of their new topics. Just as they can edit the body text.Maybe this could be applied using user group permissions in the control panel? It’s not for all, just our regulars. 

Can we implement a warning if you try and name a rule the same name as an existing rule? While I can’t think of a reason why you’d want rules to have the same name, if there is at least a warning that you can override or go back and edit your rule name that would be great. Use case - you have 10 rules all named the same thing, but they do variations of different things. How do you know which one is which?

Hi Team, I am posting this on behalf of a customer. When we add a unified scorecard fact object report in a Dashboard and enable comments for the scorecard fact, we have the feasibility to create timeline comments and see the comments in the enabled comments field. Here when we try to create a timeline activity a new timeline pane is opened up in back which is waiting for the new timeline to be created. If this timeline pane is closed either by clicking on close button or by clicking on elsewhere on the screen the comment created isn’t getting reflected on Dashboard report. In order for the comment to be reflected end users must make sure

Has anyone ever tried creating a Scorecard History Report that provides current and previous scores for all measures within their scorecard?  I tried this with the Unified Scorecard data source, but it does not allow to select a previous/current score for all measures of the scorecard.   I am currently creating new scoring rules and testing them to see how they react but need a way to see the results.  

We have a way to do this within the query, but it adds multiple steps. It would be great to be able to use the date set in admin in to trigger an action on the quarter end or start. Just like how you can set to trigger on the first of the month, last of the month, etc IE  transform to add rule date and then be able to say  Criteria:where rule date = Start of Quarter ORwhere rule date = end of quarter

As an admin and user, in case of an erroneous send or potential account deletion, I would like the ability to change the Account/Company a survey response is associated with. In our case, a manually fed JO Program was provided with improper ORGID’s for the contacts.  As a result, we have reports of survey responses associated with the wrong AccountWhile we Admins are aware of all of the backend dependencies within the Gainsight MDA, this seems like a product limitation if support cannot even process a request.

Currently, locatiozations won’t carry over in the cloned engagements. It will save a lot of time if the clone feature can also include the localizations along with the other configurtions like custom CSS.

I recently had several participants click on the survey link for the first time and were met with a “you have already responded to this survey” page. This got me thinking:Currently if a survey is submitted by a participant they do not have access to their answers either as a read-only or editable. If a participant wants to change their responses, or respond to questions they didn’t answer before submitting there is no way to re-set this. Can we implement a way to individually and bulk “re-set” access to the survey link to participants as an admin? I imagine this would have to involve upserting new data into their record so a whole new response record isn’t recorded. I am aware that admins can edit and delete responses but that isn’t a useful workaround in this case. 

Hello, For customers that use website tracking to view the activity on their commercial marketing web-site there is some great functionality; however, two things are an issue.  The first of those is logged here.  That is once a lead is created ALL users are emailed with a Lead report.  This is problematic for customers with GDPR and bigger concerns regarding treatment of PII data. Please modify the lead report and make it Opt-In or some sort of control so only those who ‘should’ get it, get it...  

Currently, Gainsight only provides 5 options for Timeline activities out of the box. It is easy to add new timeline activity types but it would be better for new admins to have a few more OTB options to drive their ideation on how to best use this feature. Can you add two more types: Opportunity (used for CSQLs and expansion opportunities) Risk (used for identifying any churn risks that arise through telemetrics, surveys, or conversations with your customer).  I think adding these options will help CS Ops practitioners to think about how they are driving upsells and risk mitigation more effectively in the Timeline. Often I see the timeline as just a place to record activities but it can also be effectively used for tracking outcomes.   

Please add more flexibility to edit the steps within the query building function in Journey Orchestrator. If you need to add a field early in the query creation, you have to remove every step afterwards. This makes it very difficult to make quick changes while testing or brainstorming program ideas. This possibility is available with Data Designer, but not in the Query Builder step within Programs.  

Hi.Just thought an idea which is, display the Program State in Email Templates” Dependencies Screen.Right now, in Email Templates we can see which programs are created or used this particular Email Template right?Example Screenshot:If we click that, the 12 Programs will show up right? So in that window if we can show the State of that Particular Program would be good.Screenshot: So in the same screen, it would be help if we can display the Program State Symbols(Draft, Scheduled, Active, Stopped, Paused)  

Hi Team, We have ability to configure layouts for different Timeline Activity Types. We can move custom fields but the predefined fields like Subject or Activity cannot be moved, yes we cannot remove them  and move them as they are mandatory but user is looking for changing their order in the layout. As a Gainsight Admin, I would like to perform Case-based conditions within my dataset in Data Designer in order to perform a simple % calculation but I am only allowed the following Operators: Equalsnot equal tois null is not nullCan we please consider adding “Contains” or “Does not Contain” on the short roadmap in order to handle long product name strings? In the same breath, is it possible to please have the ability to add custom fields to objects created by Data Designer? This would solve for the need above. 

Problem statement: Not being able to add account object fields to rules loadable available fields.Reason: This required isCreateable permission on the fields.Workaround: 1)Grant "create permission" and move the fields over to available fields then remove the create permissions.2)Share the list of fields that needs to be added to the Gainsight team, so we can add them through the backend(add these fields to the available fields).Expectation: To come up with a long-term solution for the problem statement. i.e not to look for creatable permissions on fields while adding the fields to available fields.

Posting on behalf of a customer: There looks to be a UI issue with the outlook add-in for Outlook 2002 Desktop, despite things being up to date regarding OS, Outlook, and plugin. Given in docs its mentioned we support 2013 version and up. This post is made to help get support for Outlook 2002 Desktop to fix this. 

It would be great to be able to move the eye and pencil to the beginning of a row in the opportunity view instead of the end. This is a continue ask from our CSMs.

Hi All,Is there any way to only show specific email templates for specific users as well as by specific CTA type?Also is there a way to expire the template after a specific date? (like an event email that would expire after the event is completed).  @Lee Peterson 

Have the ability to add a value to the Status field on MDA Relationship Object. There are so many more values that describe the status of a customer then active, inactive. Since we have more values we are now stuck creating a second custom Status field just to accommodate.

I would love the ability to embed an HTML code of a presentation from Canva, into an article in InSided. An embeded canva presentation would allow community members to scroll through slides of a presentation, and would allow updates made to the presentation to update automatically in my community article. 

Hey Team,We noticed that the new Zendesk Connector doesn’t pull important fields such as Latest comments and Resolved date as they aren’t a part of the Zendesk Tickets Collection. These are important fields and useful in increasing the functionality of the Connector in comparision to the previous Zendesk Connector. Do let us know if this is something that can be pursued in the product.

When we create a guide that starts from a certain feature and there are two ways the user would like to proceed with the guide, we don’t have the option to present it to the user unless we lead the user to a separate engagement.  here is an example: Is you content promotional or operational? promotional → new content/ previous content….                                                                           operational→ 

It would be great to be able to see an Edit History for questions/ideas/replies. I know Version History is available in Articles. Thanks
