When you follow someone nothing happens to notify the person being followed and pull them back to the community. We should add a system email for new followers that notifies the person being followed.  Rosie Sherry (Rosieland) had a good piece today about this in her Rosieland newsletter. We have a report that we are sending inline via email.  In the report, we have a column for ACV that is formatted with USD, commas, and 2 decimal points.  When it’s received in the email, that same column has loses the USD and the commas.  Makes it much more difficult to read.  The formatting should match.In Gainsight:  In the email:  

Posting on behalf of a customer,  They do not want the email notification if rule gets failed because of duplicate records. but they want to receive the email notification if rule gets failed with any other reasons.Is it possible to accomodate this request. 

Hey all,We would like to analyse internally what dashboards are popular among our users. Once I built the report - I’ve learn that there were non-existing anymore dashboards are shown.In my opinion there should be a filter set to show only existing dashboards as I’m interested in current numbers on current dashboards.  The segment I’m using for creating a dashboard is  “GS Asset User Tracking”  and it’s created by system. Also, a fun fact: if you ever renamed your dashboard - it will show both old name and new name and the usage data on both dashboards though it shouldn’t be a case. 

Hi Team,Can we have feature to stop the query builder once it get started.  We have scenario that we realized there was an error shortly after we started the participant sync and wanted to stop it, but instead we were basically not able to do any work in Journey Orchestrator until those queries finished. This is extremely prohibitive especially when we have critical email sends that need to go out. Please look into this and let us know if need any details.Thanks & Regards,Syam

We need to be able to create logic to target engagements to users who satisfy criteria such as:Used [a given Feature] more than [X] times in the last [Y] days.Suppose you have existing Feature A, and you create a new Feature B which is a better way to do Feature A.You want to target an engagement to power-users of Feature A, letting them know that Feature B exists.So you want to target people who have used Feature A more than 10 times in the last 7 days. Right now, I don’t see a way to do that in Gainsight PX’s audience filters (or segments).

As a product manager, I want my cohorts to include any user that completed a visit so that I can see how ongoing development is improving the retention of those customers. I’m having difficulty using the Retention Analysis because the cohorts are always filtered down to just the first time users. While this is useful on it’s own, it does not give me a picture of how well my ongoing development is going. Let’s say that the 1 week retention rate of a particular feature is 20% for all customers. I interpret this as there isn’t a lot of value for a user to visit it once a week. I decide that I want to invest some development time in this feature, I use some of the other gainsight tools such as a funnel to determine where I am seeing dropoffs, and I do some customer interviews. Because I don’t have the current users of that feature, I won’t know if I have increased the value for the current customers.

We would like to provide stakeholders a URL link directly to a specific user in PX audience explorer, so that the stakeholder could navigate right to the user data after login to PX.

Hey all,It’s a very painful topic for us: names vs IDs. Obviously using IDs of fields (in my case - timeline activity) will be much friendlier to Admins rather than using names: if we rename the activity - ID will stay and we don’t need to change rules, reports that are based on it. It would be very helpful to have it for each and every system obj and not only for Timeline Activities  

The contact role criteria we generally use for our JO participant list often results in a number of contacts for each account.  We do not have additional criteria available to further reduce the number of contacts per account without causing additional accounts to be excluded from the send. Our ask is for a way to define a contact throttle/limit to control the number of emails sent per account.  For example, if we have 15 contacts that meet the contact criteria for one account, we’d like the ability to set a throttle of 3 participants so only 3 of the 15 contacts are sent the email. 

Team, We have an use case from one our client they are creating an milestone type of activities via Rules. They are trying to create an milestone activity when there is change in the Stage/Staus change in the Company object. Currently, they are running the daily basis, If there are multiple updates on the same day then it will fetch the latest update in the Rule fetch and it will create a milestone based on the latest change only. But we are missing few updates (if there are muliple updates on source field) from the source to create an activity milestone. Is there any way we can fetch all filed value updates in the rule fetch

I really like the calculated fields in reports, but I still cannot find them useful for the metrics we maintain. In our case, I’d like to create metrics such as CTAs/Activities per account or per CSM, and for that, I had to build a DD. In reports, this would have been a piece of cake if ‘count distinct’ is allowed. Currently, you can only count which in my case does not work as it always produces 1 (there is always 1 account for the CTA or activity it was created for).Is ‘count distinct’ in the works for report formulas?Thanks,Jasmina 

Hi everyone! Whenever someone in my organization comes to me for an engagement, they always send me emails for the users we want to share the engagement with. It would be super convenient to be able to upload the emails into a segment without having to use the data loader. For example: adding a comma after each email so when we copy and paste it into the segment, Gainsight PX will recognize that and upload the emails individually. This is just one idea for uploading the information, but the main point is being able to add the user information into a segment without having to use the data loader.

Would be nice to associate score cards at success plan levels. For Eg. In the implementation success plans, there might be product challenges, timeline delays, quality issues, etc. Should be able to measure them basis the individual success plans.

We have been previewing the Horizon 360 in advance of going live before the official cutoff. Some of the feedback from CSMs has been to have an upcoming task list.While we can create task reports, it would be great to have an out of the box widget that can functionally show you upcoming Tasks and/or CTAs that you can action from the widget.The current OOB CTA widget is pretty lame - it’s basically just a bar chart of open CTAs by CTA type. To do anything with it you’d still need to go to Cockpit. As an example, having something like the Last 5 timeline entries widget, that has a tab for CTAs due this week and a tab for Tasks due this week. I reference the last 5 timeline entry one because it doesn’t just show the dates, but the actual activities and lets you interact with them from the widget. This would also be similar to the GS Home Cockpit widget, except I’m suggesting a specific tab for tasks rather than just the Task View. When using number and date field tokens in an email template, they are formatted the way they appear in the DB (from what I can tell) and do not show up in a way you would type them if a human had written the email personally. In our example, we are sending a notification to customers that their renewal is coming up with the date of the renewal and the expected renewal cost.  However, the date field shows up as 2015-12-31 and the currency field shows up as 150000 (no $, no commas).  I can add the $ character, but I cannot add the comma. I effectively will not be able to use copilot for this unless I can either a) have them formatted in the expected manner (12/31/2015 or Dec 31, 2015) or b) select from a few formatting options.  B would be better because then I could apply European formatting to those customers if desired. 31.12.2015 and $150.000,00 for example.

I recently discovered that PX personalized tokens do not update dynamically. What this means is that if I have an engagement which requests user contact details and add a confirmation step displaying the options selected, it will not show the correct data.It appears as though personalized tokens are loaded on page load rather than dynamically. If I refresh the page with the engagement showing once more, it will show the previously selected options, not the ones selected after the page refresh.Can this please be changed?

We have a few rules that essentially look this this:Query 1: Fetch some data from MDA.  Query 2: Fetch a lot of Data from SFDC. Left Merge from MDA to SFDC. Do something.It would be great if there were an option to automatically stop the rule execution if nothing was retrieved in the first query. Today, if we get zero results from the MDA fetch, we still have to wait for the rule to make the much larger query to SFDC, which can sometimes take up to 10 minutes of compute time, only to end up with an empty dataset after the merge. 

We are currently working with the Path Analyzer but having a tough time answering a few questions about usage. These questions do not align with how the Path Analyzer works and I will explain that next. “Where did the user go immediately after using the search bar?”“What page was the user on immediately before clicking on this feature?”Both of these questions are asking for data that is captured as page views by Gainsight, but are not displayed in the Path Analyzer (PA). This is because PA only reports on the features and not every event that happens along the way (also only reports on the first instance of that feature used in a session).I would like to see either an enhancement to PA or a new type of reporting that allows those doing analysis of the data to: pick an event and have the system return the list of actions that happened directly before or after that event. When users enter a report section within our C/R360 sections, they often miss reports that are organized in separate reporting groups. Users need to know to keep scrolling down past the first reporting group to get to subsequent groups. It would be very helpful if there should be some sort of group indicator to point out the different reporting groups in a reporting sections of a C/R360.

As success snapshot gives the ability to tokenize the field which is a dynamic value with respect to that account however there’s no ability to fill the color in a table created based on the certain thresholds. Would be great if we have the option to customize the formatting based on the criteria we define
