A really handy feature for ADMINS ONLY would be to have the ability to open up the “Edit Record” view directly from a C360 vs having to always go to Data Operations, search for the Company and click edit. 

I am trying to add a field to a timeline activity, that loads the users, same way as it does for internal/external attendees, but am unable to do so.I created a GSID type field with a lookup, but it deoesn’t show up as an option in the timeline activity fields.Any idea what I’m doing wrong? Thanks!Tal

we have a frequent issue where emails to Timeline get logged to our internal Account, rather than to the correct customer account, because the customer contacts were not in the system at the time the email was logged to Timeline. It would be great if I, as an admin, could push those incorrectly associated emails back to Draft status (also sending a notification to the author) so that they could go back in and associate the email to the correct account.

We use Gainsight success plan templates for sharing them with our customers.Problem:We can not assign the tasks to the customer contacts and it becomes manual work on our end.Solution:We will need to have the partner name in a custom field which needs to be tokenised

When creating a custom Cockpit View from both the Admin side and the User accessible ‘Create New View’, the list of options in the Group CTAs by field is rather limited. It would be helpful if this could be set based on any dropdown, date, etc. type field, including Custom Fields. 

When someone grant access for support reasons to GS, then an email is triggered to all admins on the account. Is there a way to word that email better so it is less confusing for new GS admin? A wording of you are receiving this as an FYI, because you are an admin would be super helpful.

Please bring back the Objective view functionality where CSMs can simply click a dropdown and see all the tasks under the objective. IMHO, this was way better and involves less clicking around. The tasks feel so hidden now. It’s a chore to see all them. Especially with multiple objectives. This is instead of having to click on the objective, then to the tasks pane, then see all their tasks in a small window.  

I am often asked questions about Company/Relationship person records, and at our company, a lot of the time the email domain of the person in question does not match the company name that they are associated with. I would love the ability to search both Company/Relationship records AND person records using the search bar at the top, rather than having to build a report that allows my users to do that OR using the data operations/data management + filter solution. I think having a toggle (dropdown, checkbox, something?) to enable/disable users from being allowed to include or exclude person results from their search would be a nice way to do this since not everyone always wants to see both.  Kind of relates to this other post from a year ago so sharing that here as well since there is a workaround for this, but I think it’d still be nice to be able to search folks at the top of the page ? 

If a product has implemented an attribute in their Identify call, then it is later deemed to be a data point that the company no longer wishes to have user send. The Attribute Management page toggle should be able to stop all instances of the Gainsight Identify call from sending this attribute.  The underlying reason that this would be needed is in the event the specific piece of data is now listed as PII and the company does not wish to collect this data. As Security and Data Privacy laws change we need to respond quickly. Having to go back and remove attributes from the Identify Call code (from every product) is extra overhead that can be eliminated by Gainsight PX configuration. It would tell the browser side java script to omit any field that is deactivated via the Attribute Management page. (Similar to the URL Mask tool) This can also be used in reverse. An attribute can be coded in advance for the future eventuality that we wish to enable the value

I want to preface this by mentioning that in the C360, I am able to add and edit Person records (also a superadmin). If everything has gone right (see my post here), then your participants will show up in the Zoom app something like this: The problem, is that I can’t do anything with it. What if their role changed? What if their title or name changed and I want to make an update? By not being able to edit, I lost the utility of the integration. I can either make a note in my Timeline note and deal with it later, or open up the C360 separately and make the change, but that seems to defeat the point of the integration. Being able to modify records associated with your part

In people maps, it would be very helpful to be able to only add active customer contacts from the list in the People Map drag and drop section. Is there a plan to add a feature wherein Admin can manage the displayed contacts from the Company Person object without deleting them? Like, getting only active customer contacts to show. 

When I am viewing Contacts on a C360 I would like to be able to start an Email Assist from that page that emails the contact I am looking at

If a CSM logs a calendar activity via Gainsight Assist and then a matching Gong call comes in, the “Logged” status reverts back to “Add Activity”. It needs to stay as “Logged” so CSMs can keep track of calendar events they have logged in timeline.

Client wanted to have underscore instead of colon(:) in the time stamp that is appended to filename for S3 export.Use case: Client has some further processing with the uploaded file which is failing as the current file name contains colon(:)  in its name.Using the NONE/Date will help us to avoid colons in the file name but we have noticed that the following run is over writing the file which might not be suitable for the client use case.

Hello, would it be possible to create an insert API for the Activity Timeline? We currently have two sets of users, one that works out of SNOW and one that works in GS. I would love to write a 2 way sync for comments between the two.

Example:    One user was created in SFDC with username as abs@test.com with id as ID001. Whenever you sync the user data with it will create a new user and SFDC User ID will be updated as ID001   Now, the customer changed the username to abc.inactive@test.com and inactivated the user and then created a new user with the same username as abs@test.com with id as ID002.   Now if you run the sync SFDC User ID in MDA user object not updating as ID002. Because already we have a user in MDA with the same username.   So the new user unable to access the Gainsight data as he was not loaded with new SFDC ID  

Posting on behalf of a customer. To complete the SAML experience for an NXT org it is desired to take advantage of the Sign Out URL below: Ideally once the Sign Out URL is populated and a user signs out of NXT, user should be redirected to that Sign Out Url (Most common target landing page would be the user’s SAML enabled apps landing page). Currently on log out, although the Sign Out URL is populated, user would get redirected to the NXT login page instead. This post to to help get support/honoring of the Sign Out URL.

Screen readers use HTML Section Heading elements (e.g. h1, h3, etc.) to specifically announce content as headings. PX is using div elements (e.g. .px-tooltip-title-wrapper) as containers for titles, so the screen reader does not read them as headings. This reduces accessibility. Consider the Guide tool tip, for example. The distinction between the title and the body text is pretty critical. The workaround is to disable the title and manually code a heading element into the body of the engagement. This works in theory, but in practice this would need to be done for every localization version of every engagement, making it relatively impractical.

Currently, if you create a report with an Objective Name with Hyperlink displayed, regardless of the status of the CTA if the Success Plan is in a “draft” reporting category the link will not work and instead displays an empty screen with "The CTA you are trying to access could not be found as it might be in draft state or deleted or due to a system error." You cannot edit the reporting category of a Success Plan if it is being used either. According to the response from support:“As per the current functionality, the direct CTA links will not be accessible from the report builder to anyone until unless the CSM makes the corresponding success plan to active.
