We have just installed the Gainsight Assist Outlook plugin.  I have noticed that when logging an Activity from an received email,  the activity that is logged on the Timeline only includes 1 contact in the External Recipients field even though there are multiple valid contacts on the email.  Is this standard functionality or is there something we are doing wrong while logging the activity? 

Hi Team,At the moment, we don’t have an option to merge the Opt-out categories but it would be nice if we have this option.

Scenario: two fields in a table (For ex. DAYS_SINCE_FIRST_CONTRIBUTED_AT and DAYS_SINCE_FIRST_CONTRIBUTED_AT_MOD) which are both mapped to fields in a Gainsight object. However, the destination table UI cuts off the field name short (see attached picture) and there's no way to see which one is which since they both cut off at the same point. It’s make hard to maps field. And can lead to wrong data collection. At same point with large similar kind values, It’s hard to trace back such kind of issue.Suggestion: to improve the UI in way we can see the whole field name. Make a some mouse hover pop-up which shows the whole name of the field.Hover Pop-Up Suggestion 

For example, an email address for contact happens to be on multiple customer accounts and when an email is logged to Timeline, GS prompts the user to choose the agency to log the Timeline to. If the user chooses the wrong customer, they would like the ability to change it to the correct one. Right now you have to create a ticket to have the backend team fix it.

There are more than a few posts regarding this, but they are all about a year old or so.  So wanted to start a new one.  There’s been more and more of a need to purge old or stale records in our Company MDA.Right now, every few months we go into Data Operations, add our filters - and mass delete out the select records.  It would be amazing if we could leverage something in Gainsight to automate that process for us / and add in a recycle bin for those records for X days.  Similar to what Salesforce has.As always, thank you!

Description of Use Case: We have a survey that we’ve selected to include Partial Responses for 10 days.  We are sending a survey email, and then, 2 days later a reminder email, and then, if we don’t have a response in 5 days, we’re creating a CTA.Problem Discovered:  Partial Responses don’t prohibit the No Response CTA from being created, and there’s not a way for me to tell the journey to look at that before creating the CTA. Also, when trying to troubleshoot, discovered that the participant with a partial response was shown as completing the journey on the date the CTA was fired (which makes sense), but then his survey response was dated to when he partially completed it, and not when the system did, so it looked like the CTA generated when he had responded.Ask(s): 1. Make the conditional wait for survey responses more flexible like normal conditional waits where I could tell it to consider partially submitted survey

We have Excel files that contain a download template that we would like to insert into a badge-launched dialog. Most have been fine, but I have one that is more than 30 rows (it’s 35) and I’m running into a dialog size limit. When using copy/paste from the Excel file, in PX I get a message about a “Word Paste Detected” and if I’d like to “clean” or “keep” the formatting. Keeping the formatting looks much better and keeps any colors or text formatting that I have in the Excel file.An example of one that is within the size limit: Keep option:Clean option:

Can you add other fonts to Email templates? If so, please share how. Our company uses GT Walsheim and font is converting to Arial. 

It would be nice to be able to add more than one inline survey question to an email template.  I don’t want to add 15, but we have 2 questions that we’d ideally like to add.  The other option would be to allow the ability to select a different inline question for the reminder email potentially.  To give some context, we are getting low response rates to our Support survey emails, and we are looking at ways to increase that:Inline questions Changing the survey format Changing the email contentIt’s not easy to try different options currently without completely rebuilding the program other way.  Having more flexibility to add additional questions or different questions would help with this.

This is a bit of an annoyance but if I want to adjust the end date of a Program, it forces me to also change the start date. Why do I have to change the Start Date in order to change the End Date?  I would want to keep the start date as is so that I can reference when this program was first scheduled. 

We are looking at adding Customer Effort Score into several areas of our business, and it would be create to have an out of the box survey question for this as well.

Community managers does this sound familiar?Situation: You are browsing the community in the front end, experiencing it as most users would but then you see a piece of content you need to edit… Currently: You then need to go to the Control tab you likely already have open or click on the control link at the bottom right since you are logged in as a Community moderator/ manager or admin. And then click on Content and find the same piece of content you were on in the front end.Or you figured out that the link to the article is the same in the back and front end apart from the actual domain and you can therefore just replace that part of the link to go edit that topic in Control… Which is barely better.Idea: Adding a contextual link when on topic pages to edit it from control, so people with the correct rights can just click edit that opens a new tab to the relevant Control page.

It would be great to be assign custom permission bundle to Viewer License type as the default View_Group permission bundle have all the read only permissions. It would be helpful when we do not want users to even have the read permission.

Please add a possibility to group badges in the user's profile by category. Every badge is configured to definite category and if user has a lot of badges, grouping them will help to understand what categories the user knows better.

Hello everyone, When testing the WYSIWYG for topics I came to the conclusion (Yeah I don't know why I didn't think of this before) that it would be very nice to have the same formatting options as the main text, but in the title, even if its only for managers/moderators, to prevent misuse. Why? For us that manage a community you are then able to point users even more in the right direction or to focus on specific content. Using bold text for FAQ topics, underlining for product codes, etc. It would make it easier to get the quick info from titles. I understand that this is just a little bit extra that can be gained from this 🙂 Not a massive win, but you gotta think small to win big in the end. I'm interested in what you all think, any thoughts from other Community managers/moderators on the use of this? Cheers,

In response to the API 2.0 documentation preview, I'd like to add an idea :) I'd like the api scheme "GET /topics/search" to query other fields, namely moderator tags and labels. I'm not sure if querying moderator tags will be possible, but at least querying labels isn't listed. We use labels to specify our most useful and totally useless (90%) topics, so being able to query this field is very useful to us for automated integrations. We use moderator tags to specify both the type of topic and the subject. Being able to fetch these topics by fields we specify ourselves, gives us an incredible amount of control. I hope the idea is clear!

Wouldn't it be interesting to find the dates when a given user has moved up in rank or received a badge? Could this be included in an export? Should it be its own separate export? Depending on the amount of ranks on a given forum, I can see this getting a bit bulky, however I think the data about user activity and rank/badge progression could be an interesting lens to look through. 🤓

Hi all, just a quick one: the content dashboard provides a nice trend-overview when you select several weeks or months. But with a large scaling (0-1k and nothing in between) variances at a lower level are so much smoothed out that they almost disappear - as an example in the below the topic creation (lower line) varies 17%, but it appears as almost flat The value of the chart could be quickly enhanced by adding: Mouseover for daily numbers: when you point your mouse at a line, the day's numbers are shown Adding Likes as a trendline Adding Helpful as a trendline Cheers, Florian

Currently the timestamps for Private Messages only show a relative value (in the frontend as well as the Control Panel). Like: 3 hours ago 5 days ago 6 months ago 1 year ago Our moderators occasionally struggle with this. Example: A customer was in contact with a moderator via Private Message. In a PM with the timestamp "1 day ago" the customer wrote "My internet is not working at the moment". The moderator took a look into the internal customer database and could see a ticket was created (and closed as "fixed") at a certain date and time. What the moderator couldn't determine was if the customer has been writing the PM before or after the ticket was created and fixed. So it wasn't clear if the customer was reporting a new problem (before the ticket was created) or a reoccuring problem (after the ticket was closed as fixed) The mod

I’d love to see some sort of ability to assign topics to folks from our team even when they don’t have a licence to control. It would help moderators, CMs, and Admins track who we’ve requested followup on a topic. Things like moderator notes are a poor tool for visibility on this.

We would like the ability to email several customers ad hoc from our plug-in.JOs are great for segmented group of customers, however it would be great to be able to email several customers in one go and log it into their timeline - which the JOs don’t do!

It would be helpful to be able to re-order moderation labels in Control so when you add a new label you can organize it alongside others most relevant. Changing an existing label seems to cause others with that label to inherit the value so that isn’t an option.

The ideation module does not allow for editing no matter the amount of time. I believe editing should be possible as in the community.
