We are trying to find a way to effectively search for keywords in notes & timeline across all of our customers.  Such as "Financial Reporting", is there a way to do this?

User Story: As a CSM I need to filter & group by my task due date so I can prioritize my work in my cockpit. Use case: CSMs have overdue tasks within a CTA, but the CTA displays in the group by as due at a future time because the filter & grouping options are based on the final due date of the whole CTA.  This is true for all CTAs that have tasks with distinct due dates. If rules are changed and duplicate CTAs get created, the only way to find duplicates is to go to the search bar. Once you search for an account name, the scroll bar goes back to the top and you lose your place in the list of CTAs. This is time consuming. Please add a filter to search alphabetically over the Account Name Column in the Cockpit.

I've gotten this feedback from several customers, including HPE:  Currently, the detailed CTA layout view in cockpit captures only a small part in the right of the screen. This makes it difficult to work with CTAs to enter comments or other fields.  The request is to have the detailed CTA layout take more of the screen, or at least give users the ability to expand / change the size of the detailed CTA layout screen. This is especially true when accessing cockpit through C360 / R360

When working out of cockpit, I often need to take notes in the comments section of a CTA. Currently, I don't see a way to adjust the view size of the CTA details via the cockpit view. The CTA list view takes up a majority of the screen, while the CTA details section that I need to make notes out of is too small. This also applies to if I need to make notes on a linked object. The work space is rather small. I would like the ability to be able to resize the CTA view in cockpit when working from here. 

Would be nice if the CTA window could be popped out as separate window and/or resized to provide more visibility and room for data entry.

With the new UI, you can no longer see the whole description box within a playbook task.  Also, this pane seems a lot skinnier than in the old UI and it feels a little cramped. Besides fixing the bug so we can read the description, making it a little bit wider wouldn't hurt either.

When you pop out the CTA detail section, it seems narrower and Chatter is cramped, especially if using bullets and sub-bullets. I keep wanting to pull that window wider. Is there any way to make that section slightly wider and take advantage of some of the real estate between the CTA name and the Health Score on the left?   

Currently when adding fields to show as Cockpit columns there isn’t an ability to resize the width of the columns. Sometimes the values can be long and a user would have to resize the column to see the full values and fields.   Getting customization to resize the column would help resolve this and use the available whitespace.

We have an event that happens every other week. I’d like to be able to either easily duplicate the event or set it to appear on a recurring basis.

timeline comments are listed in the order created.  is it possible to change the sort order so the most recent comment is first?

Right now within the AO Participant object the survey url is only recorded after a participant responds. Can we make it show if they haven't responded? That seems to be the most important time when it is needed. There are many times where a customer would like to resend the link from a program but don't have access to it. This requires creating a one off outreach or program just to resend the survey. Let me know if I am missing a way to pull the link after the program has been sent.

We would like the ability to have a private event set up/tagged in multiple private groups.  For example.  if we have an Event at the National User group (private group), we would like the ability to also show/tag the event in other private sub-chapter groups (Southeastern User Group, Western User Group, etc.)   

Little clicks that could be better. Timeline entry, 3 dots > Share Link, a pop up, THEN click Copy – how about just a copy button for 1 click Exporting all timeline. I can copy individual entries (the spacing is too big, always drives me nuts, I have to edit after pasting), but to do all entries at once, there is no way. For instance, I want to filter to Milestone type, and copy out all of those to share with a senior leader or sales. Or all Risk items. Or all emails. Can’t do it.

Through Gainsight ticket 71673 we learned the Timeline draft limit is 2,000 which is about 7 drafts per user for the approximate number of licenses we have. We are nearing the limit before implementing email to Timeline and email to Timeline relies heavily on recording drafts when the cleint email does not match in Gainsight. Please increase the limit for all instances of Gainsight, or at least make it a per user limit so drafts save properly everytime. Thank you.

I am posting this on behalf of a customer. They want to choose  Email addresses instead of names while searching for external attendees in Timeline meeting Activity.Also, Can I set the dropdown list such that it has 2 columns (name and Email Address of contact).

Hey Guys, I was speaking with a customer today about filters on the Global Timeline. Do we see having the ability to have sticky filters when filtering by Author?

From the Timeline view, our users have requested sticky filters so that they do not have to change the filter on Author to their name each time.  They’d like it to default to Logged In User, or allow them to save custom filters as they can do in the Cockpit view.

Currently, in the Customer search we are able to designate the style of search: Though, within the Timeline Activity search, you are not able to use 'search contains' - this makes it very clunky when you have longer Account names (or Account names that include inconsistent use of hyphens, etc.) since you have to start from the very beginning of the Account name:

We would like the ability to search by account name, not just relationship name when logging an activity in Global Timeline to the R360. When logging an activity via global timeline, the Related To field allows us to search by relationship name. For us, we have standard relationship names across accounts that do not include the customer name like your example on the help site (https://support.gainsight.com/Product_Documentation/Customers_and_Relationships/User_Guides/Use_Time...). So, when I search by relationship name, I get too many accounts to just scroll through them all. It would be nice to relate a post to the relationship, but still search by account name to then select the appropriate relationship.

If I search for "ben" i only get the result for an entry where ben was used exactly. If I search for "benjamin" I get the result for a different entry where Benjamin is listed as an attendee. It's the same Ben which could lead to missing key info

Can anyone confirm what fields the Timeline Search box is searching? Is it both subject and body, or just body? I could not find this information in any documentation. Thanks!

Request we have received from our CSM team: Timeline is a great, searching tool for keywords to find references or other customers doing the same thing. Such as, I searched for variations of "6 week schedule" to see who was doing this so I could chat with the CSMs about a challenge my customer was having. When you search on a keyword and the list of Timeline entries comes up, it would be great to highlight the keyword in the body of the entry, so we can quickly find it. Some Timeline entries are pretty lengthy making it more time consuming to evaluate if the item is relevant.

@lila_meyer we were initially promised this end of July, then end of August/Early September. Are there any updates around access restrictions being honored in Global Timeline. This is a huge pain point for our public sector team whose main concern is security.

The ability to upload images and docs are great with Timeline. One piece of feedback that my CSMs have is re: viewing the image that they uploaded into Timeline. Instead of having the image/document get downloaded into their computer again, it would be great if the document or image opens up in either a new window or in the actual activity. Is this possible? It's something so minor but it would save a ton of clicks and downloads :)
