We have several files that, (generally) with great consistency, show up on our S3 input folder sometime while I'm (generally) asleep. And then sometime in the past few weeks there was a change to an underlying report server and we stopped getting some data. A CSM noticed it when trying to look into some customer usage. Idea: As part of the ingest setup I would like to specify a "notify if not received by" time. Question: Anyone have a clever way to detect this lack of data (other than, you know, me looking at a dashboard ever day? 🙂

I believe this request has come up for rules, but haven't seen it for S3. It would be helpful to have a global setting option for notifications on success/failure emails. Often times for bigger customers, there are 20+ S3 jobs that all have the same email addresses that need notifications. It would be easier to just change it in one place.

Citrix, a prospect, has a product called ShareFile. It is similar to Box and other file-sharing services. They asked if it was possible for Gainsight to pull or access their data files directly from a ShareFile folder vs pushing their data files to S3. I told them that is not currently supported but would share the request with our product team for evaluation.

I have a customer that has been trying to work through building reports on a flattened survey object, they were following the documentation here: https://support.gainsight.com/Product_Documentation/Surveys_and_NPS/Examples_and_Tutorials/Create_CS...  We show the ability to adjust the summarization on our Date field in the Survey Flattened object.  After speaking with L2 this is not a supported function. They mentioned that he summarization on our Date field will only be shown on objects that are stored in SFDC (or) Redshift and this is not available for objects in HAPOSTGRES. As survey flattening object is stored in HAPOSTGRES we do not have this as an option.  The problem here is we have documentation saying this is possible a

Hi, I'd like to filter out Tasks marked Not Applicable from the Cockpit. Is it possible to do this? I wasn't seeing a Task status option within the Filters. Let me know if I'm missing something. Thanks!

Currently if you want to move an action to the top or bottom on a rule you have to delete it and basically start over. It would be nice to be able to drag and drop actions just like you can with survey questions when creating a survey. 

We currently have a bottleneck with the Admin because they are the only ones that can remove the shared c360 access from an external contact we have shared it with. Our CSMs would like the ability to manage this themselves because every time a contact leaves the company or moves positions our CSMs have to reach out to our admins to remove that contact's shared link. 

This really is just a small change, but one that would save quite a bit of time. We are creating new success plans and have several playbooks that need to be mapped to the objectives. We currently have to create the objective then go back to it to map the playbook. Can we have the capability of mapping the playbook while creating the objective to eliminate one more step?

We are importing customers from Salesforce and want to prevent the CSM from being able to delete and add their own customers.  Currently this is not part of the product.

Below is the use case from CISCO customer. When there is no data on report, Drill down view not available. As there is no data in prod for a few products, still CuSM's want to see list of all fields in drill down view.

Currently 'load to relationship' action performs upsert operation by default. So if there are many rules with this action and we have some identifier coming null or unexpected values, there is a chance of duplicate relationships getting created.

The current Rules Engine does not allow you to null out a field value in a Load action; we are having to create dummy fields called "NULL" and explicitly map that NULL attribute to a target attribute, resulting in a lot of garbage fields

Our CSM's would like the ability to log a note in timeline via Sally. I could not find this direct request, but wanted to post here. Should I also post in the product update forum?

Looking for a feature to tag a Gainsight user inside that CTA chatter through rules.

I don't see a way to view Advanced Outreaches in configuration snapshot downloads. If that's not possible, we should be able to see that in the future - this can tie into the improvement to snapshots requested here: https://community.gainsight.com/gainsight/topics/bionic-rules-included-in-snapshots

Currently if you long an email to Timeline you can include internal and external attendees.  I believe that this should probably say recipients instead of attendees.  This can be modified, but making this built in seems to make more sense than asking customers to change this in the Admin tab.  

For Cisco, each Relationship is essentially 1 product and CuSMs manage these products at the Relationship level; we therefore should be tracking Features at the Relationship level, not just the Customer level. We have several use cases for this because a lot of our product adoption motions require CuSMs to track and drive adoption for specific product features; CuSMs work only at the Relationship 360 level Currently we have the option to track products and features are available only at account level.

I have a customer that would like to be able to filter by parent accounts on flattened surveys, for example: They want to add Parent Account ID & Name object in the flattened reporting so they can filter surveys by Parent accounts. Per the ticket that was submitted L2 suggested an enhancement as this is not a current function.

When completing a task, it would be nice if the due date of that task would automatically update to today's date. Many tasks continuously get pushed back based on lack of response from client. Updating these task's due dates can be overwhelming to maintain. I go back in to old CTAs frequently to track down when I completed a certain task, and if I donot think to update the task due date every time I complete a task, the date completed shows whatever the original due date was. Hi there, our CSMs work with relationships only. When relationship owner is changed there is a need to change owner of all opened CTAs. I know it is possible (post is here) to change account owner in Mass Edit however cannot find anything that could help to solve the same problem on relationship level. Am I missing something?

I'm very happy to see that you can now create a Success Plan template! However, I'm finding a very important feature is missing - allowing an objective to dynamically be assigned based on a lookup value.  Instead, it only allows me to assign an objective to a single User, and if the template gets assigned to any account the CSM will need to go in and reassign each objective. It would be great if we could dynamically assign based on a lookup value -- like I do with CTA's for my CSMs, TAMs and Executives.

In most cases, when a CTA gets created using a defined playbook, we have a specific Reason we want to define for that CTA.   This includes when a CSM manually creates a CTA and attaches a playbook.   We have some issues where CSMs select the wrong CTA Reason when creating a new CTA and assigning a playbook and this throws off our reporting.   It would be helpful to be able to pre-determine a reason code at the playbook level so that when the CSM creates a CTA it automatically inherits the reason code.  There could be an override capability, with a prompt that says something like "You are overriding the pre-defined Reason for this CTA.  Do you wish to continue?" Perhaps the "Attach playbook" should be moved up earlier in the creation process so as to accomodate an inherited Reason.

Right now we only have a schedule for standard outreaches. It would be nice to see advanced outreaches along side standard outreaches. I understand Advanced outreaches don't really have a scheduled start time but it would nice to see when the participant sync runs along with other details such as the name.

When we migrate the success plan type to target org, migration tool doesn't migrate field configured in success plan type. Tested locally and found success plan type is migrated but not configured fields in it. Your inputs are welcome to fix this or confirm the future plan to add in release?
