Use case: I have an external application that I want to integrate with Gainsight. It produces a flat file that I want to import into Gainsight MDA. It's produced in a standard format, but contains some summary data in the first few rows (eg, report name, date, etc.) that I cannot remove. The actual data begins on row X, and is properly structured with uniform headers. If this were a 1 off upload I could easily remove the few extra rows. However, to set up a proper integration, I need to specify the row that contains column headers so that the data can be read on an ongoing basis. Currently this is possible in either the managed S3 bucket or the S3 Bionic Rule import feature. At a very minimum, I'd recommend upgrading the error alert that's thrown when headers are not recognized in the source file (from S3 Bionic Rule) as it is not human readable and requires a support touch to decipher.

Hi Team, As per below highlighted, these are sum of the values for fields Forecast Account, Target Account, and Final Account. Is there a way we could have sum value showing as 'Total/Grand Total' at end of the Opportunity section::   This will actually give a better view to customers.Thank you!

Hi,I’d like to export from time to time (maybe with an automation) the JO Analytics “dashboard”, as some employees from another team may be interested in the results, but should not be allowed to have full access to GS JO tools.Is there a way? I don’t see any option on top of the window. Thanks 

It would be great if opportunities could be searched via the Gainsight search field or via a dedicated field in Renewal Center. Background: Our Customer Renewal & Growth Manager has found that when she finds a renewal opportunity that she would like to update, she would prefer to do so via renewal center, rather than Salesforce to avoid the delay in syncing the changes. Unfortunately, when this comes up, it usually means that she would have to change or remove the filters she had been using previously in order to find the opp in the forecast view and edit it.

Admittedly this is a bit of a shame request, but I think there’s real room for improvement here: When adding fields to a View on the Forecast Table of Renewal Center, the UI to add fields doesn’t match the rest of the product. I completely missed this microscopic carrot to expand Company and see some new fields I’d added in Administration (see below). The request here is to have this area match the rest of the product on how fields and lookups are represented when adding them to reports. Think Data Designer and Report Builder - very noticeable + next to lookups, and lines to show what level you’re at.  

If you look at a thread from the user experience side, we can see the Author denoted in their replies right next to their name.However, in the Control/Admin view, the button showing this reply is from the author is on the far right side of the screen, whereas the username is on the left.Can we move the notice from the right to the left akin to the customer view?  It’s more useful in the same spot….otherwise I have to keep scrolling my eyeballs 

Currently end users can access the Opportunity Details and Timeline (and hopefully Cockpit in the not so distant future) from the Forecast Tab in Renewal Center, and then clicking on the Opp name. However, if you’re on the Analyze tab and you drill down on any of the widget/reports and you click on an account name you’re just opening the C360 in another window. I’d like the ability to do both, just like in the Forecast tab. This would be a much more consitant experience within RC itself and I think will be critical for our end users and adoption.

On the new leaderboard page (and in the leaderboard widget) the rank icons are being shown (on the bottom left of the avatar), but the username icons aren’t.As the username icons are often used to highlight power users and/or super users we propose that they are also shown on the leaderboard so that users with special achievements or a special role can be better distinguished from the “normal” registered users. This could also give registered users an added incentive to be more active in order to reach a power user or super user status.

When taking notes in Timeline, I will document a task in the notes, and then have to add that task to the task sections.  It would be great if there was a shortcut or keystroke to automatically add something as a task.  So perhaps. Client wants follow up on new release +++ And the +++ indicates I want that line/sentence to be added as a task.  You could use whatever symbol combination or shortcut made sense.  This would help streamline timeline and reduce duplicate entries.

Hi, the look of uploaded files should be improved, see screenshot below. Would it be possible to improve this look, for instance to replace the grey square with the PDF logo with the first slide of the uploaded pdf/file?  

Sometimes two members of the community might have an interesting conversation via direct messages which they decide would be of wider interest.  It would be nice if, with mutual agreement, they could turn it into a topic in one of the community categories.  The flow could be something like this:Alice and Bob have been conversing through DMs Bob thinks that the conversation would be of wider interest, though perhaps there are a few personal details that should be redacted. Bob clicks a “Suggest publication” button. This converts the DM sequence into a topic (not yet published). At this point Bob also suggests a category to which the conversation will eventually be published. As a topic, Alice and Bob become able to edit their posts so can redact or sanitise private information. When Alice and Bob have both checked an “agree to publish” checkbox, the conversation goes live. Or, Alice can decline to

Can we have a widget specifically for Ideas on the homepage? I’m currently doing a quick link to Ideas, unless there’s an easier way? 

Posting on behalf of a customer. Currently when you add a new field to a fetch in rules and export that fetch to S3, any new fields that you might’ve added aren’t appended to the end of the S3 export.For example if you have a field listing like this in the rule fetch:Name, created date, SegmentWhen you add a new field to that fetch like this:Name, created date, Segment, CountryThe ideal result would be that the S3 export would show up like above. However, currently it shows up something similar to this in the resulting CSV.created date, Country, Name, SegmentThe request is that the fetch config column sequence would dictate the export column sequence.

Can we send an alert when there are changes in Dropdown fields.

Intercom Connector by Default stores Epoch Values in the date fields. When we bring them in we can only map them to String or Number but not to a Date datatype field. Would it be possible for us to better handle this scenario by automatically converting the Epoch number coming through into date time field format? PS: We don’t have date time Formulas in Gainsight to perform this on our own and get the EXACT date and time so the Connector doing this would be a better way.

I would like to option in control to export to a csv, or excel format the list of ideas are are submitted to our ideation forum. I meet with our team once a month and pulling together a list would be much easier if we had that functionality.My sense is just to export the title and how many votes the idea got. If others have a different take would love to hear about it.

cant sort a pivoted table with a string fiels so my reports don’t go in a logical order. 

Most of my ongoing meetings (weekly/monthly) have the exact same internal and external attendees.  Yet I find myself typing out individual names every time.  Similar to Gmail suggesting people for emails you send, Timeline should suggest contacts/persons based on the account and first contact/person entered.  Bonus points for the fields to suggest people based on names in the notes section.

Posting on behalf of PX customer. For lead gen platforms, the majority of our users are set as leads in SFDC. They will only convert to contacts once they convert into a sales opportunity for other products. However, in order to start nurturing these leads in-app with PX, they need to have some of the SFDC data to segment the leads. Integrating leads from SFDC to PX would be very helpful for this use case!

Hi!In the control panel need add a filter to hide content by selected attributes. For example by moderator tags. I.e. do not display content that has appropriate tags. This is convenient for moderators. Everyone looks at their own topics (by their own tags).Thanks.

We have many tabs that apply to similar types of data. Since the data pulls from different objects, we cannot put them on the same related list. It would be great to have a navigation to the C360 tabs, similar to how the navigation is done to get to different parts of Gainsight. Right now we try to keep similar types of data together, but you cannot tell when you are moving from one grouping to another For example, we have various ways to identify contacts for an account. We have Contacts, Instance Contacts (to indicate who is primary on each instance), Sponsor Tracking, and Community Titans. All of these have to do with Customer Contacts. It would be great to be able to add a section for “Contacts” and be able to nest all these sections under.  

My company recently moved to GainsightNXT and I couldn’t be happier!  One thing that peaked my interest is the Multi-Currency feature that NXT supports!  With recent acquisition, our currency expands past the USD.I’m curious to get feedback in two areas:How do you like it? How do you handle the Conversion Rate area? Do you review/update every so often? Do you use an API to update it? Thank you all advance for your feedback!

Hey Team! We've recently had a few customers ask about the ability remove access to the "Edit" icon in the "Action" column of the Relationship Tab in C360.  Right now when we view relationships on the C360 page without access to edit these, the edit icon still shows as "not greyed-out" unlike the "Delete" icon when users lack those permissions. Compared to the delete icon, which will appear greyed-out when permissions are lacking:

Our portfolio products all have a dark theme and a light theme, and we were hoping PX is working on a way to notice the theme the user has selected, and thus allows us to use audience rules on the KCB and/or engagements to display an appropriate experience. Is this on the roadmap or being discussed in any way?
