Howdy!I’ve come across a few related ideas in the past, so I can understand if this one might get merged, but I think I can make this unique enough to be able to stand by itself. I kinda pinched the parts of the concept from TypeForm, Jitsi, Twitch and a bunch of existing URL Shorteners, but I think it can work with inSided.For security and anti-abuse reasons, this would of course only be for internal forum links (and not a generic one for anything that goes off platform!), and only for making links easier to share.But the idea I’ve had is to basically have a brand new domain that can be used to redirect in the way that a URL Shortener does, but with various subdomains on a 1:1 basis so that each inSided customer is assigned a subdomain on it just like with the main platform. And from here, have the slug after the / be something memorable like three words (because words are easier to remember than numbers!).And from there, if these short links basically redirected to the original entit

We use several rules to update Scorecard measures and request CSMs to update the comments if the score is RED/Yellow. If the CSMs comment on the Rule/System Generated update there is no way to Tag it to the account at present. A CSM has to create an additional activity in order for there comments to get  register for any reporting/CTA creation etc. Either we need to read these comments or stop commenting all together on System generated updates this adds to confusion and in-efficiency for both Admins/CSMs 

Hiya!There definitely seems to be consensus for this one, but I couldn’t find it in the existing Ideas so far. While I do have another one related to WebP, that one is really more about adding support for WebP format. :)This Idea is based on another magic trick that I do with the websites I own and/or manage myself, so I have experience with it already.One thing that would probably do wonders though, would be if the platform could automatically optimise all media uploads, so that the resulting file sizes could be crunched and squashed down to something more reasonable - especially for mobile users. While this can sometimes work best by converting the formats, it can also be possible to optimise just about anything without changing formats. As a safety net though, it may be worth keeping both the original and optimised versions, just in case something goes wrong and a rollback is needed.The way that this could ideally work, is that the original media (such as a photo) could be uploaded

On a previous platform I was able to spin up a custom page and populate it with various community widgets and HTML blocks. For instance, we had a user conference coming up so we were able to create a discussion forum for attendees, resource blocks, fancy artwork (banners, sidebar elements) consistent with the theme of the conference, and general information about the event (more HTML). Once the conference was over we just pulled the page and archived the particular discussion forum.You could also set the custom URL for the custom page so it worked as a vanity URLhttp://community.acme.com/UserConference2021

In DD if we add new field in fetch task,will get popup to add it in following tasks.If we provide similar functionality in Rule engine it will save time for GS Admins.With the current functionality,if we want to remove the field in fetch task ,we would need to remove all the down stream tasks.So customers excepting remove field from all the tasks with once click.  

For multi step engagements like Guides and Sliders, I would love to be able to see the amount of time a user spends on each step. This would be especially helpful for knowing how long a GIF should be/how complex the content should be. If I can see that users are spending 10 seconds per step, that will help me make decisions on the engagement content for each step.

Hi Guys,I would love to be able to deactivate a user from future engagements if I know they have left their role which they have a subscription for. At the moment we target engagements based around company names (so Annie’s Apple Shack) but if I know that 3 members of that business have left, they still remain present on Gainsight as we have no way of alerting Gainsight to their departure and they still come receive unnecessary emails/spam. Would a monthly data-upload of all active users help that? if we populate a field to state ACTIVE or INACTIVE we can have that as a filter…..?  

We have an extremely active group of customers who moderate for us. We don’t consider them employees. When running reports, we like to focus on that peer to peer engagement and questions answered by non-employees. However as it’s setup now, the default ‘mod’ role is considered an employee and really skews our metrics.  Adding control permissions on the front end (Control box in the lower right hand corner) to custom roles would really help us out so that they can continue to moderate effectively and efficiently for us.   

When an article is published, it should be able to be unpublished to remove from public visibility (ie back to draft / unpublished). Only method to do this at present is to delete the article then try to restore it which is not great for usability

As many of you, I’m frequently working with the inSided ticket system (zendesk) in order to report bugs, ask community related questions or ask for help with tasks we can’t do ourselves. I’ve come across a few things I’d like to see improved:After I create a ticket, I get a success message on the platform (a pop-up) and I receive an email notification. I'd like to get rid of the email notification. One success message is enough, the email has no added value for me. When a ticket is updated, I receive an email notification with the new comment. What I would also like to receive in that same email is a link to the ticket so I can directly go there.

Enable Product Update content types to use the Content Helpfulness capabilities like with articles, conversations, questions, and answers. 

Hi,Before I get started, I wanted to show you something I noticed which I thought was kinda funny.Yes, these really were the tag suggestions for this post! :DOne of the image formats I’ve started to make use of in the last couple of years, is WebP, due to the fact it’s a pretty well optimised format that still looks great and now has pretty good support across all major browsers and user agents. The only notable exceptions are older versions of Safari - support was added in Safari 14 - and Internet Explorer which doesn’t support WebP at all and probably won’t. It is however, fully supported in current releases of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge Legacy, Edge Chromium and Opera which I believe covers the vast majority of user agents today.It’s a really nice format as I’ve found it tends to be a bit smaller and snappier than PNG or JPEG while still retaining a good level of quality. However, just as a safety net, it would also be great if fallback versions of WebP images are created in PNG/

Good day all,Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but the Answered by Peer section is not very helpful because (at least in our case), everyone is a registered user….so our answered by and answered by peer are equal.Can we instead get the ability to show all answers written by a selectable Role/filter?This way, I can remove Employees (and show the rest) and get a real value.Note: It’s important that the filter only affects who ANSWERED, not who ASKED :-)

HI Team, In SFDC we have and option Features Tab which helps to create their associated features and list of products. we can list it in Customer 360 page and track the Features used by the customers as below screenshot. However this feature seems to not available in NXT.    

Hi team,One of our customers has a suggestion for improvement where currently datapoints are not shown for every value. So it is suggested to be showing datapoints for every value regardless of the percentage on Normal bar charts as well as stacked charts.Please share your thoughts.

I know our Gainsight techops has done wonderful job in enabling multi currency but allowing both local and corporate converted value show under reporting would be a bliss.

Can we have the company object pulled from the AO Analytics object?AO Analytics object seems to have some valuable fields, so it would be awesome if we can segment that base of certain fields that are stored on the company object, like location, industry etc.

Hi Team,Currently when we use the email values in the calculated fields it is not handling the case sensitive values . Can we take this up as enhancement and implement it to handle the case sensitive values.

For single email sends I like to comb through participants to remove any misformatted names, distribution lists, etc - anything that looks out of place when coming from an individual. Unfortunately the Participant list shows a max of 1,000 records and you cannot see beyond that unless you search for a specific contact. So ~900+ records cannot be verified because they cannot be view in the participant list. Reversing sort order only sorts contacts that originally appear in the 1,000 records. This is a major hindrance and even if this there were scheduled, repeating program that eventually reaches 1,000 participants you should be able to view all contacts that ever enter in the participant view.

When I create a CTA and want to send email (either Email CTA or just with the Email function on normal CTA)...it would be nice if we had options of who to send to. Like “send to all active contacts at account” or have selection of active contacts with check boxes. right now, i have to go to person, memorize the names I want to send to...then hope I remember to put in those names in the email… this would save me tons of time!!!

HiMy team use a lot of email templates in playbooks, however if the email goes to a customer with an incorrect email address we don’t get a non delivery from the customer through Gainsight. This could cause problem if we are trying to send them something important but it doesn’t reach them, we would never know about it. ThanksSonia

We are currently challenged with wanting to leverage our Pendo In-App messaging (with better response rate) to conduct NPS surveys while we are very pleased with the results in Gainsight. Ideally it was recommended that we provide a Gainsight survey link within Pendo, but alas, this is ONLY applicable for anonymous surveys.  As an Admin, I was wondering if the following potential work-around is feasible: Generate send list via query for a “utility” Program in Gainsight Configure program so the “send to” is “bogus” or a utility account Query AO emails for the field “Survey Link” after email send record is complete Use the URL from the above step to associate to Pendo accounts via email address ID?  Send link to In app users in Pendo Again, I have not inspected the survey URL per AO Email record yet and assuming it might be user-specific or custom?  If not, any thoughts on maybe how to do this w/out anonymous surveys in the next month? Please? :)
