I am working with a very large organization that has a need to have more than 200 fields per object. The business has multiple business units that use Gainsight, however, we are unable to combine all units into one with the current field limit on objects. Specifically, we want to add more than 200 fields on the Relationship and Account objects. These objects are at their field limit so we are unable to expand our use of Gainsight to more business units. Creating more objects is not an option as we need to have these fields directly on the Relationship and Account objects for reporting, rules, scorecards, and more.
Please see the screenshot attached. Is there a way to make this hover a more meaningful like probably providing a description/help text for user to under what that data shows, instead of showing "Editing this field requires additional permissions. Please reach out to your Gainsight Administrator to request access." ? This does not make any sense and it would be nice if we can configure it to show some meaning text that is configurable by admins.
Would love to see some sort of marker or indicator where you could deem a course or a training path mandatory for a learner.
Would love to be able to add a due date to a course or training path when it is ‘assigned’ to a learner.
Gainsight Home is a great concept but too limited in its execution.I shouldn’t have to sync records from Salesforce over to Gainsight objects in order to surface SF-based reports on GS Home.In Dashboards, I can match SF Object::SFDC User ID to the GS Object::User::SFDC User ID in filters so that I can dynamically filter Salesforce-based reports alongside Gainsight-based reports: Home should allow the same thing but it doesn’t. This makes Gainsight Home far less useful than it could be.
Hello Team, It will be great if the reports/attributes in summary ribbon enabled with the possibility of showing the drill down report. So that when a CSM view the home page, they can have a detailed and interactive info available when needed.
My end users would like to configure the order of the grouped items in Cockpit for themselves. The strongest use case is to order overdue above due this week and upcoming when grouping by Due Date, but I could also see this being useful for other groupings such as Company / Relationship Name, as users have preferences for seeing those items in a unique order.
Blockers to using:Cannot re-label global filters. Since we use lookups, each filter would be labeled GSID Different Home experiences for different personas (similar to c360 assignment layouts) Activity type when using a scorecard object defaults to Update, but should default to Health Score UpdateNice to haves:Ability to lock global filters - for example, managed as Customer Widgets should be clickable in Summary Difficult to re-order (screen share might be needed) Cannot create filters on non-Company objects - for example, Timeline author or CTA owner
Following the July 2024 release Gainsight Home widgets, reports, and global filters got a nice slick redesign with rounded corners. However, I noticed in dashboards that while widgets and reports have rounded corners, global filters don’t which makes them feel a little clunky and unfinished. Are there plans to make dashboard global filters have rounded corners? It’s a small request compared to the rest but I wanted to put it out there.
I’m guessing there has to be a hidden API operation for private messaging, as you can configure automated PMs for badges and ranks. Regardless, I’d love to see a public API endpoint for custom use cases.
As an instructional designer I would like the ability to set the order in which learning paths display. Currently, they display in alphabetical order. We have certain learning paths that are assigned to some groups but not others, and so we mix and match the paths according to the learner’s role and in their organization. The Learning Paths match their workflow and so the sequence is very important. If there were a numerical sorting option that enabled us to assign one path to the 100 series and another to the 200 series, it would be a lot easier to pull them into the right order. It becomes difficult to ensure the proper sequence of the learning paths if we have to order them alphabetically.Thank you!
I don’t know what this is actually called: But this menu is missing from 360 in sidebar which is pretty ludicrous. If someone wants to go to the SFDC Account page from the C360, you’ve now just added an extra step. Also RIP to #teaminfinitescroll
It would be fantastic if users could either a) make fields inaccessible or b) rename fields to indicate they will not be used. Specific example:Billing address is a default field at the company level. In our organization, we are unable to use this (since GS cannot support pulling this field in from Salesforce’s default item). As a result, I had to build each field (i.e., street address, city, state, etc). In the current state, I cannot realistically use this field, which leaves me 2 options:Have an empty field required to be visible for users who might be building out reports or Create a rule to update this field after concatenating a whole slew of fields together just to populate a field that ultimately is not needed (and eat up valuable rule running time). Thanks!
Here’s the scenario: You’re a CSM looking at a Risk Dashboard in prep for a conversation with your manager. You notice there’s no Risk CTA for Real Business Company LLC. You want to open the 360 compact layout so you can quickly make the CTA you forgot to yesterday, then go back to your dashboard review. But oh no! Without that Company name already being on the report, you can only use the general search and open up a new tab. RIP beloved 360 compact view.It would be great if you could either get the compact view from search results, or had some other means to summon it. This would also help expand use cases for the 360 compact layout and give CSMs more reason to adopt it, and make the overall experience better.
I would like the ability to expand the 360 compact layout to full screen, just like you can with reports on a Dashboard today, without opening a new tab.Expanding a report on a dashboardThis would be in addition to being able to open a new tab if you wanted. The compact layout is very medium right now in effectiveness, if it doesn’t show all of what you want, but you don’t want to open a new tab. Being able to simply expand it could give you the best of both worlds.
When it comes to MDA data sources, mapped record names like Timeline Subject, CTA name, etc., when added to a report all take you to that individual record when you click on them. When it comes to 360 in sidebar, ONLY company name right now opens the compact 360 view. Clicking on anything else opens the main 360.I would like other mapped fields I click on take me to that record, but as part of that customers 360 compact layout. It should include the breadcrumb navigation like you see today, so if you’re on a CTA Timeline entry, you’ll see “Company Name>CTA Name>Timeline Subject”.This keeps the experience more consistent, and gives far more use cases to the compact layout itself (I’m renaming this btw, 360 sidebar doesn’t make sense) than only clicking on Company Name.
As we add more users to our PX subscription, there are more people that can update engagements. In most cases, the Last Updated date in the Engagements list makes sense; if I update audience criteria or schedule, etc. it shows that I was the last one to update that engagement. However, I was on vacation last week and there are still multiple things that I “updated” even though I wasn’t even logged in to PX last week. One example is when the schedule ends for an automatic engagement, it showed that I was the last user to update that engagement. A second example is when I add an engagement to our priority list. Every prioritized engagement is updated to show that I updated them. It would be more precise for the ONE engagement I added to show me as the user and every other engagement to show a “system updated” label. Therefore, my idea is to create a “system updated” label and timestamp for instances where this happens.
I imagine this was built into the recent enhancement for subscribing to events, so hopefully this is something that can be added to the API relatively quickly. A webhook for when a community event* is published. Something like event.Published*ex. webinar/meetup/conference, not event in the webhook sense
Several templates that I would like to start creating are contingent upon a big wishlist feature (saved custom content blocks), which would allow us to create blocks (pre-formatted buttons, event listings, side-by-side content blocks with a placeholder image, etc.) that could easily be dropped into a template while creating newsletters and event promotions.I tend to use a lot of lorem ipsum blocks in saved templates I clone for creating new emails, but it would make things much easier if I was able to design content blocks and save them in a library to pull into the emails as I’m building them out, rather than to have to recreate all of the formatting every time I build an email. Is this something that might already be on the roadmap, given the planned implementation of the new email template editor (and the phasing out of the old one)?
Hi Team, We have an requirement from one of our client as they want to push the data of the Shipping & Billing Address fields of the Account object to Gainsight via Rules/Connectors in which currently we are not support this at the moment because Address filed in the SFDC is a combination of several fields which is returning as an object as per this Salesforce Doc https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.api.meta/api/compound_fields_address.htm. Can we have considered this into our roadmap, so that instead of loading multiple fields they can pull only one field and load the data into Gainsight.
