Currently, there are 3 options for Person Match Criteria. However, in our instance, we have multiple types of Relationships and the source data for each has a unique identifier. Can we have more than 3 Match Criteria options for Person?
HiCan you give us admins the capability to customize the welcome email?Right now, this is what they get: Leaving aside some formatting issues like the full stop in the first paragraph and the unnecessary line break before the links, it would be nice if we can add a customized message/template.Use case:Depending on the user role, we have different documentation/recording/trainings to direct them to. We can follow up with an email afterwards, but is a good case to leverage email templates internally and point them to the appropriate resources out of the gate.In my mind this looks like this:Click on send welcome email → Pop up → Would you like to add a customized message? Yes/No. If No: Current process If Yes: Blank rich text screen to type + the ability to select from templates (similar to applying a template via Gainsight Assist). And the OOTB email is sent as an attached image.
Timeline allows to filter by Activity Type and filter or search on other data points, however Milestone types cannot be filtered on the view from C360/global or searched.Request that the ability to filter or search on Milestone type be added to Timeline views.
Under User Profile, there is an option to email custom reports but there is no option to email dashboards. Many PM’s would have a dashboard emailed to them on a scheduled timeframe then log into Gainsight PX.
If this is a duplicate request, please forgive my faux pas. I tried checking for this first but didn’t find anything.Problem: I have seem some admins struggle with some users trying to cheat when it comes to gamification. They often will find 1 user and like all of their posts in a short amount of time but won’t actually contribute in a more meaningful way yet shoot up the leaderboard.Proposal: Rate limits for liking posts. So if a user likes over x amount of posts within x amount of time they get a “time out” or temp block on their account for x amount of time.Bonus Proposal: What would make it even cooler would be if the user would get an automatic DM or Email letting them know why this occurred.
We are having issues where a CSM will attend a call from someone else internally, but when the Gong meeting syncs they cannot edit bc the owner is actually a colleague (think sales, support, etc). It would be better for a CSM to be able to edit any Gong entry so that they can add their notes from the meeting
Our CSMs use the Email to Timeline feature, and throughout the day send many of their emails to timeline. At the end of the day they have to edit 20-50+ timeline entries, and many of them are the same Meeting Type. It would be nice to have the ability to edit multiple entries that are similar at the same time vs one by one.
Hey Team, The current working of the CTA closed date on a report is that it would show the same date but the time would show up in UTC. In cockpit we show only date and not Date time- Would it be possible for us to have the exact date time displayed in cockpit and reporting as it helps customers understand which process closed the CTA’s.
The Find User by field / value API endpoint is great. Would love to see a similar endpoint for finding all users based on a value. A few use cases this could handle...Finding all users based on a custom role Finding all users based on a badge Finding all users based on sso protocol used to authenticateThis seems achievable presently by querying for all users through Fetch all users and then filtering based on certain criteria (except for sso protocol, since this appears to still be using the legacy sso; see )But, having a specific API would reduce the number of steps required by an API consumer to get subsets of users based on a field value.
Today the only options for resolving spam are to mark “not spam” or to delete permanently. Our company has a requirement to be able to do forensic reviews and analysis on some of these attacks and activities. It would be great if there was a third option to keep as spam and mark for archive.
A lot of our processes are still in flux, so we're constantly making updates to playbooks and success plan templates. It would be great if when you made changes, there was an option to push that change out to all open existing versions of that playbook or Success Plan. Maybe a checkbox or a button that asks if you'd like to apply the changes everywhere?
It would be great if there were more field types available for Activity Timeline fields. For example, a percentage type, which we could then use for formulas.
I wanted to take an opportunity to thank GS for making this small change that will improve my quality of life daily. Cloning reports was a little awkward because if you are adhering to a naming convention, you have to remember first to copy the report name you are looking at before you clone. Now GS gives you the title with the “copy of” prefix before it so you can version the name without having to retype it. Thank you, this removes one little headache from my day to day, and reduces my friction.
After logging an activity, I can share the details of that activity to the internal and external attendees. I would like the ability to customize which fields auto-populate into the body of that email. Our team uses many custom fields in the activity object to prompt the CSM to provide details depending on the meeting type and sync information back to the account. For example, we have a field for “meeting sentiment” which contributes to the account health score. I would not want a customer to see the “meeting sentiment” score in the email recap, and it’s tedious to delete it from every single email that goes out (if we remember to delete it!).
In Query builder in Events when the user selects page view, he/she can group on Host but the same is available for Features. The host should be one option for grouping when selecting Features.
For context, this brainstorm came from this idea about creating a toggle to enable logging all emails to the timeline by default. It would be awesome if we had some sort of popup or a “checkout confirmation” style message that showed key, admin-configurable information prior to a program (or any email) launch.Ex:Warning: [Gainsight user.name] is set as the sender for one or more emails All emails will be logged (or will not be logged) to the timeline Emails will be sent as non-operational with the newsletter subscription type Email fields may negatively impact external recipients ([field 1], [field 2]...) It would be fantastic if we were able to configure this type of popup so either it didn’t show at all, or if it only showed the information we wanted.
Cascade add is a huge help when tweaking data designer designs, as the early beta didn’t have this. The more complex the system the more obnoxious it was to add in a new field. Can we get a similar functionality on delete? While it is true if you find out you have a field you don’t need you can simply not use it, but that isn’t great best practice, and for larger complex data sets having to go through and delete every instance of the field in top down order can be tedious, especially if your goal is to remove multiple fields, and perhaps even an entire object or merge. There could be additional safeguards as well - for example if the set has been published, there could be a warning about causing instability with existing reports or dependencies if the action is completed, whereas if you’re still in preparation you would get a similar notification to the current cascade add feature.
This idea delivered some great improvements, but it seems I still can’t search user overview by user Id
Hi Folks - It would be nice if we had an option when creating customer records to automatically assign a CSM when we are creating a company record - based on the lowest number of Companies assigned to the CSM on the time of company creation. Ive hacked a solution around this but its less than perfect. Kind Regards, Mark
We are building a Digital ‘Business Review’ that is the e-mail template comprising of several embedded reports sent via JO. With the limit of 5 columns we have our hands tied a bit as our aim is to make the email as informative and accessible as possible. We’d like that the customer opening the email has everything in front of them without a need to open attachments. With 5 columns it’s hard to achieve.
Please let us increase the size of a String attribute on C360 layouts! Current size is much too short for 255 characters to be seen when editing.
Use Case: Leaders will sometimes create a timeline activity and tag the CSM in the activity asking for follow up. Today, since you can only edit activities that were created by you, the CSM is unable to add tasks to that specific activity making more work for them to have to either create a new Timeline activity to document the action items from the follow up or manually create a CTA to do the same.Idea: Allow anyone to create a task on a Timeline entry. If as a CSM, I could then click the Add Task option without actually editing the Timeline activity, that would improve my efficiency. Maybe there’s an added option under the activity menu where the copy, etc. is located?
