In many cases, we are looking at performance trends and want to be able to show prior period performance within a single widget. Example: I have a KPI widget in a dashboard that shows the number of churned customers for “Last Month”. In that same widget I would like to be able to also show how that performed to the previous month (so a quick snapshot of MoM), OR how that compares to the same month in the previous year. Additionally, if there was an increase or decrease, be able to see that percentage of growth or decline (especially with revenue based values). Example (using fake data) I know we can create graphs that show month over month performance, but visually - these quick snapshots of prior period performance within a single widget are valuable.
Hey Team,We are currently in the process of creating a kind of gecko board for our CS team. The KPI widgets seem to be the best way to do this, as you can display information easily and clearly. However, I have not yet found a way to automatically compare values with the previous quarter, for example. Here is a fictitious example:KPI Widget Settings for that KPI widget It is therefore possible to compare the number in the widget with a manually set value, but not automatically with the value from the last quarter. Is there a workaround to fill this field automatically, or is there something in the pipeline from Gainsight to implement something like this? Thanks in advanceAdrian
If Journey Orchestrator is moving towards allowing for Bionic Queries to be created outside of a Program, I'd like to request that BQ can also be used as an exclusion list. Every program I run, I have to include a dataset task that looks for anyone that already entered that program in the last 180 days, then merge it, then transformation task the results. Every. Program. It's really not intuitive to build exclusion criteria into a query. It's an extra step that would be much easier to solve for if I had a separate query 'Entered Progam in X days', and then select that list under exclusions (which is how any other email tool works).
I think there should be a slight modification to Viewer and Viewer + license permissions where a user with one of these two license types assigned to them should be able to close out a CTA which has been assigned to them. Our specific use case: CSMs run a series of playbooks and success plans which include CTAs for members of the sales team. All sales people have Viewer licenses. If one of these CTAs is assigned to a ‘viewer’ for action - they should be able to close that CTA (and just this CTA assigned to them) if their action is complete.
Hi team,A customer has a request to hide the milestones from timeline activities in the C360 page. From an admin perspective they'd like the option to be able to hide these from timeline -- either as a setting in milestones OR as the option to customize the default setting. We have an option to disable “Milestone” activity type, but it would result in milestones no longer being created. And we can filter them out, as we can see in the below screenshot, but this allows creating a new milestone. Can we consider an option to hide all the milestone type timeline activities and also stop them from creating new ones.
We love the new the standard widget functionality in Horizon Analytics. It makes it easier to structure dashboards into sections and add in helpful notes/resources, That said, it would be great if these did not count towards the current dashboard maximum of 30 widgets. We frequently run into issues where we can’t add more reports to dashboards because we are leveraging text widgets.
With the new JO, we no longer have the mean to map fields. One of the field that previously required mapping was to add the Person ID in the AO Email log object. It seems that functionality is now automatic taking care of and dependent on the Person Email address.Even if the Email address is not the unique identifier in the instance. Even if we provide the Person ID we hope the program will use.In my example, I had two person record sharing the same email address. When the program sent the email, the program would record the email being sent, but associate that email to the wrong person record in the AO Email log object. The solution was to invalidate the duplicative email address. We need to bring back the field mapping functionality so we can tell he program which field is for what based on the query design.
Gainsight PX dashboards are dense with data and graphs. With the ability to quickly overwhelm a user and need additional notes as to why we are looking at these items and tell the story of why they are important and how to read them. The request is for text widgets within the dashboard, where the dashboard owner could place text on the dashboard. We would use text next to a widget to outline what effort is being done to change the metric, what the starting value was when we started the effort and what the target is for that goal. Currently we are trying to tackle these other efforts outside of Gainsight, but then end up having to screenshot Gainsight to then evidence elsewhere the actual metrics. I would love to make Gainsight a better place to see the written effort and goal. A different enhancement request will be to have widgets that can be imbedded into other websites (like Confluence) so we can select single metrics to render as the metric out in our other places of work.
Currently, Insided doesn’t allow us to sync attachments using API.This is blocking users from automating some of the processes where end users & agents use different systems.Ex : Our end users raise a question in Insided and our agents will be working in Zendesk. As there are 2 different systems, we tried to create an automation between both the systems. So, the agent can only work in Zendesk and automation will take care of syncing replies from zendesk to insided and vice-versa.As we can’t upload/read attachments in Insided, we couldn’t automate the process completely.
When using the NPS Import function, it can be very frustrating that there are only 4 date formats available when the native date format for Excel is MM/DD/YYYY and this is not one of the 4 options. If you save the file you want to import as a .csv and then reopen it in Excel for any reason, it will revert all of those dates to the native format even if you have changed them in the version you had saved to your .csv file (because the .csv removes all formatting and then Excel reinterprets the dates into its format when you open it). It would be much easier if the import tool could accept date formats that are native to Excel.
Hi allFinally ramping up on the use of real-time rules and I’m surprised to see that when you map a multi-select picklist in Gainsight (Relationship level in my case), to the corresponding picklist in SFDC, values don’t auto-map and I have to manually map them. The below has 65 values. It’s a right pain manually mapping them, especially when I have to update three fields and repeat the operation 3 times around.Multi-select picklists need to be handled consistently across all features, so, Horizon Rules and Real Time rules. Multi-select picklist handling in Real-Time Rules ActionsMulti-select picklist handling in Horizon RulesThis is a must have as this creates an unnecessary waste of time on the admin side (I dare not imagine what happens when I update my picklist.ThanksA
When creating a survey, there have been a few times when we have wanted the respondent to only select a specific number of choices from a multi-select survey question. Currently there is no functionality to limit this and we are finding that some responses are being returned with all options selected which skews the data we are collecting. It could just be an optional attribute that allows the admin more control over the question configuration.
Hello! I recently had a request from users here to add the ability to apply ad hoc column filters on the Status field in the Relationship list view on the C360.Currently, it looks like you can sort by the Status header but where I’d expect to see an input box for an ad hoc column filter, there’s a big empty cell. I believe this used to be possible during the pre-Horizon days and has been lost in the conversion. While I’m aware that users can click the filter funnel icon and set up a custom filter, it was convenient and intuitive for them to apply temporary filters using the column header as well.
Another product parity request!Strangely enough, Simple Programs dropped the ability to “email a copy” like we can in Advanced Programs and Dynamic Programs. You can CC, but not “email a copy.”This request is to also include “email a copy” in Simple Programs like it is available in the other program builders. Simple Programs Send Email step builder Dynamic Programs Send Email step builder
I’m realizing that a solution I previously put in place is not getting the job done 100% because Timeline’s external attendees shows every Person record associated to that Company, regardless of the active/inactive filter. We have a field in Salesforce (our source of truth for contact data) that indicates whether a contact is still active or not. I built a rule a while back that updates that field in the Person object as well, while also updating any associated Company Person records to inactive. However, end users still see these inactive records when posting to Timeline or when using Gainsight Assist, which begs the question: What is the point of this active boolean field if not to filter out inactive contacts when posting to Timeline? There doesn’t seem to be any other method to filter out these contacts aside from just deleting them entirely from Company Person, which isn’t a valid option in our case. See example below for what I’m dealing with:
Currently, the My Portfolio report allows users to show 25 or 50 records at once. This report is limited to displaying 50 records per page. For users with more than 50 customers/accounts, this can be tedious to scroll through. It would be helpful if users could select to display up to 200 records in My Portfolio, like we are currently able to for allother tabular reports.
Currently you can only add or edit event types, not delete them.
Hi all – wondering if the year can be added on the event cards beside the date & time for past and upcoming events. Can be a bit confusing for users scrolling through content to know if something is from 2022 or earlier.
Would be great to have an ability to configure the events page to show the Upcoming and Past events as separate tabs. Right now it’s not very comfortable and user-friendly to scroll that much to find the past events.
Like Discussions, Articles… a way to pin a particular imp Event to the top of the pile of the /events page would be really cool to have
Hello everyone! A significant amount of customers/companies use the Microsoft suite to run business (yes, including Outlook!). For us, many of our customers have strict security protocol and Outlook meets more of these requirements than Gmail. When you create an event, the default option is to add the event to Google Calendar. This idea is to enable various versions of the save the date, from Outlook to ical.
