I ran into an issue where a retired field was stuck in a drill-down report. The field was removed from reporting when it was retired, therefore I could not find it in the list of fields in the drill-down report to remove it from the drill-down report. The only way you are able to solve this today is to toggle the field back to allow in reporting, edit the drill-down report, toggle field back to hide in reporting. This was a bit convoluted and extra challenging because the name of the field in the report had been renamed to something different at the object level, making it extra challenging to identify which field it actually was. Solution ideas:Allow removal of columns from drill-down reports via the header Have a way to show all fields currently selected in a drill-down report (even if hidden from reporting) so that they can be removed I’m okay once the hidden from reporting field is removed from the report to return to the expected behavior of not showing it in the report configuration window
Since My Portfolio is the only way to in-line edit company records in bulk, we’ve had to add multiple fields to the widget, requiring a significant amount of scrolling. But there appears to be no way to freeze (or relabel) the Name column, so you lose the context and end up having to scroll left to find the company and scroll right again to find the fields you want to populate. So much scrolling results in a poor user experience. Before scrollingAfter scrolling
While sending emails to customers from JO we need an option to hide or show the area of text from email templates For eg.Customer A has purchased 3 products, the email should sayproduct A: 100% deployedproduct B: 80% deployedproduct C: 60% deployed Customer B has purchased 2 products A and B, the email should sayproduct A: 100% deployedproduct B: 80% deployedand it should hide other products from email template.
This would open up the ability to use icons and imagery which are a lot cooler and more aesthetic than just text links.
Hi,With past tools our team has been heavily reliant on being able to search for a customer’s account/C360 via an email address tied to a contact/person on the account. This is especially beneficial for CSMs who have large books of business. It would be great if in Admin > Company > Search Configuration in addition to the Company object the Company Person object could be linked -- that way if our team gets an email from a customer and they want to quickly get back to their C360, they can copy/paste the email address in the search bar for easy navigation. Let me know if I can help clarify any of the above request. Thanks!
Depending on the page, the Knowledge Bot sometimes sits atop UI elements and is cumbersome to move around. It would be great if it could be also designed as a side bookmark. And have the option to align it relative to page margins, not pixels, as users have different devices with different resolutions. When the user clicks then on the bookmark, it opens the bot with all its content.
It’d be super handy if we could clone CTA layouts to use for other CTA types.
We could simplify our new user registration page if Insided supported custom fields via SSO - specifically SAML. On the new community user registration form, we currently ask for the first name, last name, title, and company. We have all that data in the SSO identity provider and that’s the system of record where the data will most likely be accurate. Fields we would like to populate in the Insided user profile via SSO include:first name last name job title company name CSM ID assigned to the user unique customer IDI would expect the same visibility controls applied to regular user profile fields.
We recently launched the new Gainsight Home page to our CS Team. We are currently using Gainsight NXT impeded in our Salesforce system. They are starting to utilize the ‘Personalize My Home’ option and have come back with the below product suggestion:Can’t resize: While you can rearrange the tiles, you can’t fully resize them. For example, the CTA tile I could make wider (taking up the full width of screen), however, I can’t adjust the height. Similar but opposite for timeline, I can adjust the height (to a degree) but I can’t change the width.
Problem StatementAs it stands today, a user can complete a task listed in KC Bot but will have to manually check it (or complete an engagement) before it is registered Proposed SolutionAdd the ability to link checklist items to events or feature tracking so that if a user completes an action within my product, it will automatically mark it as completed in KC Bot.One step further - using AI it would be cool if it predicted what I wanted to select as an event/feature to track Use CaseA KC Bot has been created for user onboarding. When the user navigates the website natively, they begin to complete some items which are listed in the checklist on the KC Bot.
We would like our users to be able to filter by the article label when searching
With the push to use Customer Goals instead of Success Plans/ Objectives for overall customer KPIs, it would be great to be able to use them as an export slide in Success Snapshots. Right now you can export reports on Success Plans/ Objectives to make that easy but you cannot pull in anything with Customer Goals
We have many, many customers who have needs to update these very critical objects: (1) CTA; (2) Success Plans; (3) Timeline from a bionic rule and there is limited/no ability to do so. Please make this available. The needs arise when you build out processes and need to trigger changes due to other updates. Rules does a great job of finding what the update should be, but there is no ability for this.
Hi, our users would really like to set themselves bookmarks for certain posts (as we have threads with a lot of pages) and they would like to return to the specific posts very easily. Moreover, the would also love to bookmark tags, as they can then better decide about which content they are updated. They always tell me that category level is way too broad. Kind regards, Esther
TL;DR - The “contains” operator when creating filters in a rule behaves differently across the Rule Setup section and the Rule Action section in a rule build. “contains” is case sensitive in Rule Action where it isn’t in Rule Setup. Please upvote to change this logic and make it consistent across rules. Hi All, Our company is using Gainsight for multiple departments, including our implementation org. As any company, we have multiple Customer Success Tiers to cater to, and our rule automations are based off associating a specific success plan template to a specific success plan shell based on our product sold and customer success tier they fall into. Our Enterprise segments are broken down into “Large ENT” and “Enterprise”. When our rules were build for the Setup Action for each of our Enterprise Products, we used the operator of “Contains” to catch all enterprise accounts by simply doing “Customer Success Tier (contains) “ENT””What ensued over the last month and a half since we launched this was sporadic implementations being missed with no failures as to why. I lodged a support ticket (Ticket # 203093 Automated Success Plans missing creation with no Rule Failure) where support confirmed that the contains operator in the Rule Action of a rule is Case Sensitive. That is not the case in the Rule Setup section of a rule. The inconsistency in this logic lead to us now updating our rules with 2 filters to catch Enterprise accounts. However the logic inconsistency between two sections in a rule build is not ideal and not easy to catch without some out of the box trial and error that the average admin does not have time for, and is not documented to see. Can we please create consistent operators within a rule? (I haven’t done an impact assessment for the other operators, so there could be more. 😅 🙃)Thanks so much!
Hello, it would be great to be able to associate customer usage data to Customer Goals or a Success Plans to show ROI. From what I am aware of, you currently cannot link or associate usage metrics to either. Is this something that is currently planned or has been discussed?
The “Switch to New Editor” and “Switch to old experience” buttons are accessible by any Gainsight user with navigate permissions to Email TemplatesWhen these buttons are clicked, it affects the email editor settings for all users in the GS instanceThis is inappropriate, because:Regular end-users shouldn’t have access to instance-wide configuration Instance-wide configuration should be labelled as such — it’s not obvious in any way that this isn’t just a user-level setting Behaviour isn’t documented Instance-wide configuration shouldn’t be exposed as part of the regular end-user interface and should be part of admin config screensThis should be categorised as a bug
Hello Team, What about letting the Admins to change the KPI Widget Background color and allowing the admins to insert a clip/smart art. Something similar to Journey Analytics widgets.
In Advanced Programs, you can add to a program ad hoc from the participant list without setting a schedule. This is super helpful for one offs or programs that we want to sync to review before setting a schedule. It would be helpful to still have this ability in simple programs
Hello Team, I don't have words to explain my gratitude for the planning and effort you guys put into Horizon Analytics. As one of your people said, Horizon Analytics is still a new born; hence, we all will contribute to add more meaningful functionalities which will make the app even more attractive. I can see as per this idea you have enabled the Goal and Variance feature on the KPI Widgets. I feel the issue here is that the goal can only be set as a "Static Value”. Please correct me if I am wrong. I really think that the system must allow the admins to dynamically set the Goal value. Allowing the admins to map a field to the Goal field of KPI widgets will enable the admins to make use of the KPI widget in wide range of reports/dashboards.
Is there a plan to add Duration (in mins) stadard field to timeline advanced filtering? This will save us alot of time in searching for those email activities that doesn’t have a work duration.
Can we add a “Close” button on dialogue engagements that simply does just that? Using “#” for the CTA still refreshes the page. The instructions on this page do not work either, because it requires you to have two buttons on the engagement (inconvenient and unattractive for users). Or will refresh the page anyways as others have commented in the thread. The page refreshing after viewing an engagements is disruptive to the user experience and makes the experience much more intrusive. My workaround currently has been to use Guide engagements instead, since those will simply close without refreshing the page. But that is not the intended use of Guides, and they are visually inconsistent with other Dialogue engagements shown in a similar context. Please add this feature! Thank you!
Our team often indicates "In Progress" for one or more CTA tasks. Which they then have to also update the overall CTA status. It would be a nice UI feature to have the CTA automatically update to "In Progress" when any task was set to this.
I come to PX from six months of working with HelpHero and more years of peaking at WalkMe. In both of those places, I saw a different stance in the tour/walk-thru/engagement editors. I'd like to encourage PX to build toward incorporating these three modes: 1. out-of and 2. in-app editing and 3. in-app preview modes into a more unified mode, with your customer's web application at the core. That application is the context to rule all contexts (well, your customer's customer's workplace workflows are probably the only more essential context--but more abstract and less accessible than your customer's applications). So, this is not a feature request, but a vision request. You can help my users by my helping me keep closer contact to the point on the ground, in my application, where my user needs me. I'm looking forward to learning much more, but happy in the meantime to share an impression that benefits from PX inexperience (as I have not yet gotten used to being this removed from my product while building walk throughs.) Thank you for the forum!
We'd like to implement the Knowledge Center Bot for our users to start PX tours at their liking. However, the KC button is always covering crucial functionality on our application. It would be nice if we could open the KC bot via a link, so we can add our own custom button in the application for users to open the bot or embed it in our existing Help Center.
