KC Bot Audience by URLNew Idea

*Disclaimer* I”m relatively new to PX and taking over a previously configured KC Bot. Our product has numerous “modules”, and our current KC Bot includes all our 100+ “guides” (engagements) in a single KC Bot.   This results from the KC Bot not supporting URL in the Audience Logic for a KC bot.   I see a “recommendation” set that allows you to “suggest” content by URL, but this forces the user to engage deeper into the KC bot to find content that i would prefer be immediately obvious.  I intend to keep onboarding content flat, but nest articles and content related to care and feeding, or deeper learning.   As an example, I’d prefer something like this:Recommended: Best Practices on _______ (other “top hits” on our Knowledgebase) Module Overview Guide #1 (onboarding subject #1) Guide #2 (onboarding subject #2) Guide #3 (onboarding subject #3) Learn More… KB deep dive about Subject #1 KB deep dive about subject #2 KB deep dive about subject #3 Best Practices Tips & Tricks CARD w/ images Hands-on Labs (Try it!) Training & Certification Submit Product Ideas WIth this layout, the KC Bot has less content, so I don’t have to deactivate my entire KC Bot (100+ guides) when I need to modify content related to one module.   I’m also trying to clean up the analytics as we see a huge drop in step 1→ step 2 in our engagements which we think is attributed to users not having permissions.   I could avoid this by limiting the content in the KC bot to only show when the user hits the URL (e.g. they have access).  Appreciate any insights you all might have as to a workaround for this product idea.

Make milestone rules more flexibleNew Idea

Hi there. We are currently considering whether to continue using milestones when we move from SFDC to NXT. We’ve had some challenges with the old infrastructure of milestones in SFDC that I hoped would be addressed in NXT now that they live as Timeline activities. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case.  Issue no. 1: I cannot choose my identifiers in the load to milestone rule action. This is not made clear in the documentation, but I can confirm that you are limited to Account ID and date as your upsert identifiers. We have a use case where we are loading records that might have multiple identical dates. I need to be able to choose a third identifier in this case. See below for an example.  When I ran this live, only a single milestone was created for the Account ID, and the comment (which I tokenized) only displayed “Comment number 1.” This means that the other two milestones were completely left in the dust because I wasn’t able to select “Summary + Key” as an identifier.  Issue no. 2: I apparently cannot delete or edit milestones created via the Rules Engine? This one I’m not 100% sure on, so I’d love to be corrected if I’m wrong. But from what I can tell, even as a super admin, I cannot delete or edit milestones created via the Rules Engine. This seems like a major issue, not to mention a step backwards from SFDC edition, where I could not only edit milestones one by one from the C360 but could also do so en masse via SFDC workbench. I don’t appear to have either such ability in NXT.  Honestly, it seems preferable at this point to create a custom low volume object that contains our milestones. I’d have control over the upsert identifiers, plus I (and our end users potentially) could edit or delete the data if necessary. I would lose the ability to overlay the milestones on reports, but that’s about it from what I can tell. I hope you consider making these necessary improvements to milestone administration so that I can use the OOB functionality.

Ability to select more then 3 events when using Query BuilderReleased

Hello everyone,We would like to have the option of selecting more then 3 different features/events when using Query Builder to analyze our data. The use case is as follows. When creating, for example, an onboarding tour (or any kind of guide actually) for our clients, it’s a good idea to map the steps of this tour as events and then to create a funnel. If we have set up a super-tour, we would expect that most of our clients will start from the first step (triggering the first event inside the funnel) and follow it to the last, following the order of the steps in this tour/guide.While we can get some insights from such analysis, it actually gives us only partial information. This is because events (steps) inside a funnel need to be dependable on one another (each next step is taking into consideration only the set of people which landed on it from the previous step in the funnel) - and that’s great. However:what if, for some reason, one of these steps (or events) isn’t working (or isn’t being triggered) for all the users for which it was intended? or what if our clients, for some reason, are landing on the “third step of the guide” without ever visiting the second step?In order to reach this insight and to have the full overview of the adoption of the designed tour and it’s steps, one could try to use Query Builder. There, we can select each event of the funnel separately (without them being dependable on one another in any way) and filter it out by using the Audience section (in this use case we are interested only in one audience at the time). Finally, we would select the “bar chart” option and we would get a graph showing us how many times each of the events from the guide were triggered, independently from one another (in the observed period). What we are missing is the option to add more then 3 events in Query Builder. It is very usual that tours, guides or, in general, anything that we want to put into a funnel, consist of 6-8 steps. So we would like the ability to select and visualize at least 6-8 events, with the assumption that only 1 type of audience is being analyzed.
