The old overview version had a functionality to mark several inquiries as read. This is unfortunately not the case for the new overview. What a pity!See related question here:
On behalf of a customer - it would be great to be able to have rich formatting available in Gainsight. Bolding, underlining, coloring, type face, indenting, bullets, etc-- things that will make playbook tasks jump out or link to additional materials. Currently, this can be done in a text app and then copied and pasted in. But it does not translate well and it looks poor aesthetically (haphazard). Thanks!
It would be great to be able to either insert or copy and paste tables into the logged Activities for Timeline 360. If I copy paste at the moment, it pastes as text and loses all table layout
I need to make a mandatory field on a CTA that is required upon creating or saving the CTA. Not only when closing the CTA. Marking the Closed Mandatory selection does not require upon Save, only Closed. Is there a way to accomplish this?
I’ve setup a C360 section based on a custom Low Volume object. I’ve added various fields to be filled out including a few Person lookups. I have discovered that you are able to search by the person’s name when creating records, but when you save the record it will then only display the Person’s GSID. Field config: Create record view: Edit/View record view: This seems like it would be pretty basic functionality to use Person lookups in Low Volume object. Has anyone else ran into this issue before? If so, did you find a workaround outside of loading over the name via the Rules Engine?
On Low Volume objects, you need to add the GSID to a C360 report to be able to see the Edit/View action. This allows a CSM to click into the record to view further details and/or update the record. This is incredibly useful for CSMs. The only way to make the Actions visible however is by adding the GSID to the report. This is a bit weird and not very intuitive for admins. Can you create a way to add the Actions without the GSID so that it doesn’t clutter the report?
Dependency checks are critical to system maintenance. It doesn’t appear that the new C360 layouts OR Horizon Rules are included in dependency checks in Data Management. This is crucial and dependency functionality should ALWAYS be included on any newly released features or enhancements to existing functionality as a requirement prior to release.
It would be helpful to be able to export engagements created in PX so that their contents can be extracted and read outside of Gainsight PX.
We need to be able to track feature usage across multiple years for several reports in the Query Builder. We are currently unable to do this as it is limited to 6 months (we could only get it extended to cover 1 year when we requested this feature).Ideally we would want no limit in the Date Range so we can generate reports spanning many years.
When a user is using Zoom and the Gainsight Integration for timeline and taking meeting notes, if the user does not remember to SAVE the entries BEFORE exiting zoom, they will LOOSE all of the notes they have taken. Please add a reminder prompt to save the Timeline Entry before allowing Zoom to close.
I would like the ability to start nuking tasks in my rule without having to first delete the action(s), then the filter criteria, then go back to data prep and then delete my action. Let’s absolutely keep the warning popup and dependency check, but I’d very much like to just have the ability to pick a task, and delete everything after it if I want. Thanks!
In data designer and horizon rules, it is seemingly impossible to update the source file in the equivalent of “Fetch from Amazon S3” task which is the S3 Source.I have my summary and file properties and nowhere can I swap the file later down the line: Since we can update the file path in bionic rules after adding merges, transformations and pivots, we also need that in DD and Horizon Rules so we have parity. Can’t fathom having to remove all of my tasks and redoing everything. This ties in with @TMaier’s “insert task” concept as well. Thanks for considering this enhancement! PS: @anirbandutta could we have a new category or something that would be encompassing of Rules Engine and Data Designer as a category since those two are now Siamese but they’re not related whatsoever in existing categories?
Sometimes we have tasks that have subtasks with them. Example: Research Customer
Customer's online presence Customer's background with company
It would be great to be able to set subtasks to nest under other tasks.
Looking to do some reporting on Timeline activities associated with a CTA, and from what I can tell, it looks like I’m going to have to use Data Designer to get to what I want. Use Case: Would like to be able to report on the following things:# of activities tied to a specific CTA (I can get this with Context ID, but I’ll have to do a Data Designer to show the CTA Name) amount of time spent on a CTA based on summing the duration field on the activities associated with that CTAWould be great to have the CTA Name associated with the Activity Timeline object so that we could do this without having to build it out.*I don’t think this is possible today, but please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
Hi Everyone, With one of our latest releases in PX, we have got the option to clone the KC Bot. But we can only clone the KC bot to the same product on which it was designed, that means we cannot clone the the KC bot to other products. It would be really helpful and will reduce a lot of manual work if we can clone the KC bot to other product as well. Thanks, Shireesha.
On the Details page of a CTA, it would be very helpful to have the ability to show only the Timeline Activities related/associated with that CTA. In this use case, CSMs can link multiple email chains/updates/notes to the same CTA. With this functionality, CSMs can quickly sort to see the last action/update that happened related to the CTA. The current view shows all Timeline Activities related to that Company, not just the ones associated with the CTA. Below is a screenshot of where we would like the filter to be.
Currently you can only add Value type filters into the criteria of a Horizon Rule. In places like reports, DD and the old rules engine we can choose the filter to be a Field, which allows more flexibility.
Hi thereMinor annoyance, but it seems I can add a default mapping on SFDC account ID (I guess it’s because it’s a field of data type = SFDC ID.I think it should be mappable - not sure of the rationale behind it not being available as a default mapping. Thanks!
After conversations with our CSMs the idea came up if it is possible that contacts can be updated in timeline/activity instead to go to people list. Reason being that when they speak to a customer, they are in timeline to capture the information there. In those meetings they also here about contact changes.By this they can stay in the timeline and do not have to switch to people list, which will be more efficient and any updates will not forgotten and it leads to more up-to-date and accurate contacts information.
I don't believe this functionality is available, yet, but someone correct me if I am wrong. I would like to be able to set up an outreach where the powerlist is derived from logged timeline activities. Example: CSM logs a Training activity type. I would like to be able to create a powerlist that selects all the external contacts from every Training activity logged in the last 24 hours and send them a survey.
Our team uses the localization features quite frequently for 4 of our flagship solutions. The Gainsight PX (GPX) product team (thank you @aharkut) has made some tremendous strides with these features in the six months or so alone. Tools:Between the GPX localization features for articles, k-bots, and engagements and the localization management platform we use (Crowdin), we have a nearly fully automated process.Challenge:With continued edits and updates to content for visual acuity, we run into a number of unique formatting challenges that require HTML code review. This ends up costing us nearly an hour to update and sync each engagement/article each time we need to make edits in English. Add this up to the hundreds of engagements we create each quarter and the impact grows exponentially. Guides that look nice in the WYSIWYG don’t only look great in the XLIFF file. And because our translators are generally working only with the files, they don’t easily see what the end product should look like. This ends up requiring multiple revisions just to get one or two sentences to look right in multiple languages. <unit id="t"> <segment> <source>T</source> <target>T</target> </segment> </unit> <unit id="ogenerateresultsfirstselectcriteria"> <segment> <source>o generate Results, first select criteria. </source> <target>oder generieren Sie Ergebnisse, nachdem Sie Auswahlkriterien getroffen haben.</target> </segment> </unit> <unit id="chooselocationcriteria"> <segment> <source>Choose location criteria</source> <target>Wählen Sie die Standortkriterien</target> </segment> </unit> <unit id="hereunder"> <segment> <source>here under </source> <target>hier unter</target> </segment> </unit> <unit id="location"> <segment> <source>Location</source> <target>Ort</target> </segment> </unit> <unit id="chooseacitystateorcountry"> <segment> <source>Choose a city, state or country</source> <target>Wählen Sie Stadt, Bundesstaat oder Land</target> </segment> </unit> <unit id="afteryouchooseyourcriteriaclickthe"> <segment> <source>After you choose your criteria, click the </source> <target>Nachdem Sie Ihre Kriterien ausgewählt haben, klicken Sie auf den</target> </segment> </unit> <unit id="buttonbelow"> <segment> <source>button below.</source> <target>Button unten.</target> </segment> </unit> </unit>Recommended Solution:Offer a unit-id button for contextual XLIFF files. This would allow the content creator to define the text string unit and would help keep context aligned with text for translators. Pass thumbnail images with the XLIFF file for translation tools to show the screenshot of the text along with the raw text file. @link_black @jean.nairon @VBennyGainsight @david_streichl @rweimar @gaurav_kotak @tohodesigns @romihache @Molly.McQ @mrooney_trimble @sai_ram @rschlette @jmobley @katkenny23 @woodlande @JayS @Lake1211 @lpicone @aharkut @Katharina @jp_lingamaneni @shireesha_reddy @jean.nairon @kate_green @sreddygari @Susanne
I was just checking on this and I’m a bit surprised it’s not already a thing. In the JO Programs list you can view and sort by Last Modified Date, which is great, but there’s no way to see or sort by Created Date in the list. Was this a thing that used to exist or am I thinking of some other area? When cleaning up the Programs list (because as much as we all SHOULD keep it tidy in the moment, we don’t always) it would be very handy to have the Created Date and Created By fields. Sometimes I want to look up my oldest JO programs, or find old programs which were modified recently etc, and I can’t quickly do that without the Created fields on the list view.
If we have an email task set up in a playbook, it appears that there is not a way to auto-populate who the email from that task will go to, you just have to either specify the address in the CTA comment or have Associate Contacts already in place. I'm wondering if there is any plan for having the ability to auto populate the "To" address in an email task? For example, if we had a rule that was firing a CTA for survey responses that are detractors, and wanted to put in "NPSSurvey Response:User Email" as the recipient. Currently the user has to tokenize the address in the CTA comment or manually put it in as an Associated Contact on the CTA.
